  1. We're kind of getting Suicide Squad sets, even though we're not really getting Suicide Squad sets, so while there's no guarantee, it's very probable and safe to assume. But Wonder Woman and JL pt. 1 are not for summer 2017 and beyond, so no use discussing them in this topic. The Batwing is a pretty good set - and apparently very relevant and true to the movie - IMO, and WW is the best minifigure in it. I'd recommend picking it up.
  2. Smoking robe Batman might be a promotional polybag like pajama Emmet.
  3. I really do hope it gets its own Sea Cow style/size exclusive set. I'd prefer a building but a vehicle seems more likely.
  4. This is decent enough but much too similar to (and much less detailed and interesting than) The Big Bang Theory set for it to ever stand a chance at becoming an actual set, I think. Monk's could make a great mock with many interesting mini-builds.
  5. I'm thinking of building it as well, and was planning on using white croissants and shield instead.
  6. In the US, ANY $75 purchase will get you the Mr Freeze polybag:
  7. This whole thing is hard to believe. So many unique missing pieces and a piece in a non-production color mixed in?
  8. It's been said before that LEGO won't release CMF series of licensed themes like Star Wars or Superheroes because the only have the construction toy license, not an action figure license. Is this actually true? If so, this might prevent a CMF series of DC characters which would make a Lego Batman series pretty pointless.
  9. Just ballparking it. The Lego Movie got about that number of sets in the first wave IIRC. Just checked and without polybags or CMF and not counting the Seacow (which had a March release) but counting the retailer exclusives, the first wave of TLM sets had 13 sets. Not saying that this will be the case for this one though...
  10. Hopefully from one of the twelve sets in the January 2017 wave of LEGO BATMAN MOVIE sets!
  11. There's been pictures of the roller coaster. It's pretty small, and on a loop of train tracks if I remember correctly. I do remember last year, there was nothing known about the Ferris Wheel - except for a set number and name from some leak - until the designer video was published mere weeks before the release. I'm not ruling out a new fairground set this spring/summer yet.
  12. I specifically read that the Mixer is going OOP to be replaced with a new carousel, though, so there definitely is a rumor.
  13. I doubt that. Same one as the 2014 juniors set and the comic con 1966 batmobile
  14. I wonder where the rumor came from then...
  15. I came here to read about the new carousel that's rumored to replace the fairground mixer... Is there any conformation on this? Organs? There's organs on carousels, right?
  16. There's a thread for help in identifying parts in the general discussion subforum where you might get a quicker answer.
  17. The instructions that are available online for modulars are pretty impossible to read for a colorblind fellow like me...
  18. I remember some exclusive sets being revealed just by appearing on store shelves, but I wasn't following LEGO news as closely back then.
  19. I don't sell LEGO, but I justify large purchases like modular buildings and big licensed sets by telling myself (and my wife) that we would be able to sell them close to, if not higher than, what we paid for them, even if used. So it's not really buying LEGO as an investment, but it's a nice bonus that, right now at least, my "collectibles" are retaining their value. On the other hand, the aftermarket prices are completely out of hand. There's listing on eBay for JUST THE MANUAL for the 10179 MF for $500. The set itself is going for $3000 if you're lucky. There are mass produced CMFs on bricklink for $40 and up. This is just not going to last. So many amateurs are trying to invest in LEGO since the many articles in the last couple of years.
  20. Just one GG order to go, For the expensive inverted dark red slopes for the curtains...
  21. The Javelin is indeed an awesome ship. That set gets a bad rap for that awful Darkseid hover thing, but everything else in there is great.
  22. I didn't save them for the end, it just happened that way. I started with the sand green and added whatever else I needed that that seller had available. My first 3 or 4 orders were pretty big because of that, and I was able to start actually building pretty soon, which I liked. Then I just placed orders when I was stuck because I was missing the parts for what I needed to keep building, plus anything else the seller had available. This is my first go at bricklinking a large official set, so it might not be the most efficient way...
  23. This is so frustrating. I'm down to less than 50 bricks needed for the GG, split over 9 lots, and it looks like I will need at least 5 orders to fill them without overpaying or paying expensive shipping. They're mostly rarer parts like the white and blue arches, the inverted slopes for the curtains, the chalices, the printed viking tiles, window panes... I was already itching to start on the CC after I was done, but these last orders for the GG are pissing me off. I might not bricklink another official modular after this.
  24. Yes. It's a disaster with bark blue/dark green/black. Also reddish brown/dark red, yellow/bright light orange, and sometimes even pink/light bluish grey. Lighting is important, it helps, but still, I can't ever determine which of the above colors is which without putting them next to pieces I know the color of.
  25. I usually get annoyed when this thread derails into wishlisting, but this time I derailed it myself. Sorry about it.
