  1. I like this. Gigerlicious.
  2. Yeah, Enlighten is strange. Most of the parts are good enough, but every single set I've bought has 1 or 2 that are just crap. It's annoying enough that I haven't bought any more. Gudi is almost Lego quality. All my complaints are kind of obsessive-nitpicky, like, the parts tend toward very tight clutch and that leaves stress marks on the 1x5 antenna pieces. Some really nice space designs, interesting parts like light bley airtanks, they're probably my favorite clone brand. Available on Aliexpress. Star Diamond I've only found on ebay. Matches Lego quality. There's also Oxford. I don't have any of these, yet, but supposedly it's the best clone out there.
  3. This made me smile. I remember those horrible little cars. Best of luck on Ideas, it's got my vote.
  4. The guy on the right is wearing a Blacktron II jetpack. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6023
  5. Probably the best looking one of the bunch. Really nice part use on the skeleton legs, too.
  6. I would love to see a subforum for the legit other brands. Not bootlegs obviously - especially not lepin - but Gudi, Star Diamond, Enlighten, others. They're either equal to Lego quality or getting close, they offer different and interesting parts, unique designs and themes, and so on and so forth. They're not very common for the anglophone crowd. Most of us use them to supplement lego collections. Makes sense to me, to allow some discussion. I know it's not very likely. it's not legosssss, it pollutes my precioussss legos
  7. Something to conquer the harshest terrain. In style. A very gray style. Features: souped up engine cockpit with spaces for biscuit and tea dashboard with navigation aids 4x3 cargo space shovel for when stuck, rifle to blend in while in the colonies the blue thing's supposed to be some sort of cooking surface and storage unit, I don't even know. Fried biscuits? why not active suspension system allows wheelies to impress the natives
  8. I really like this. Deserves bonus points for not being yet another car, also.
  9. Great details. Especially the hood ornament.
  10. All that's contacting them are other wheels, so they should be able to roll. They look great either way. Really liking the long suspension.. arms I guess?
  11. It's nice but not $35 nice. And, still the ridiculous transparent backpack piece?
  12. It just sounds right. Like tooths. And foots. Your English, it is a silly language.
  13. 1. odd colors buried inside sets Example, the new Speed Champions Mustang. It's really nice, except it's got two 1x1 bricks in medium blue in the rear. Why. They don't match anything else. And I barely have any of that color, not enough to really build with. They're neat parts, but next to useless. 2. hardcore zealous purists, though it's more funny than annoying WAAH, THAT IS NOT LEGO! aw, relax, it's mostly Lego, I just stuck a couple Gudi parts on top of the certified genuine lego brand legos
  14. https://www.flickr.com/photos/stephann001/36639681453/in/photostream/ Here's a link to pretty neat weathering effects done with black chalk, completely removable.
  15. I wish. I remember looking for such a thing specifically to get ideas for use of that exact part. I guess the closest thing would be getting people to tag them in photos like Digger says, but, effort.
  16. Oh nice. That's a great idea for wheels.
  17. 928 is just the more Classic Spacey of the two. Simple boxy shape evocative of the early sets, with plenty of room for experimenting while the basic design stays recognizably the same. And the colors are pure Classic Space while the Commander is more futurony. Toss in a couple orange transparent chainsaws and it'd be right at home in Ice Planet. 6980's also not as good looking. Just remaking it in Classic Space colors is a huge improvement.
  18. I'm all for it, as long as City's renamed to Legolandland.
  19. It's got kings and queens, monsters and wizards, knights and squires and horses and two castle sets of course it couldn't possibly be a castle theme, what was Lego thinking
  20. It's a war40k Dreadknight. Yeah. I guess we'll see if Lego did a better job with the concept.
  21. Axl gets a freaking Land Raider. This is the best wave. And it's Europe only and it's just in time for the theme to end, damn it all.
  22. These are great, especially the first three. Double-especially the quad bike.
