I dunno, but to me, the lack of a theme name is just another way of keeping this "leak" as vague as possible, just in case that if the whole thing was fabricated, it might still can manage to actually make a few correct guesses by mere accident. The stated information is in general rather unclear with details. The only points that are somewhat concrete are the number of sets (a total of 12) and the class of each (8 small sets, 2 medium sized, 1 vehicle, 1 titan). Anything else (computer world theme, new parts, new launchers) leaves enough room open for interpretation.

I think the little finger should have one more segment, it looks too short, but other than that, this design looks pretty sweet, and I'm looking forward to how well it will hold up once printed!

How about a scenario where Monstrox regains his human form at the very climax of the story, but then gets defeated by the heroes? Stories where the villain goes one-winged angel at the end aren't unheard of. As for the rumor about the end of Nexo Knights... just as I said in the thread about a potential new constraction theme, I'll take this claim with a grain of salt.

Unless we get something more legitimate, I'll hold my horses about this being true. The idea sounds intriguing, though.

Going by what @Penkid11 and @K_Tiger said, I'd say that the exact release date of the sets vary by theme and region. IIRC some of the Hero Factory and Chima Winter waves managed to hit German shelves shortly before or around christmas.

These look amazing. The Infected Needlemouth is probably my favourite, but I also like the spine design of the Rust Ghoul and the unusual parts use on the legs of the Overseer.

Replacing Elves mini-dolls and dragon heads
ZORK64 replied to Joebot's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
@Joebot: Oh, I do like the specific head mold for those dragons - it's just that I prefer dragons with a more feral apperance. Out of the Minidoll themes, Elves is the one that is most appealing to me, but since I'm already occupied enough with my ever-growing collection of sets for building robotic MOCs, I choose not to collect them (I did, however, recently purchase of the smaller Friends set, and I do like it). -
That's one badass-looking pirate bot! Y'know, I'm not really that much of a fan of pirates, gold or brown, but the way you combine these things into this MOC, all of them actually work. The color scheme goes well together, the pirate theme gives this fellow character, and my dear, the greebles on this guy are crazy. I would recommend you to provide some flavor text and a few more pictures on your initial post though, so you can hook viewers easier in and more people are inclined to check out this amazing MOC, as he totes deservers more attention.

Replacing Elves mini-dolls and dragon heads
ZORK64 replied to Joebot's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice work on these! Personally, I like the minidolls aesthetic, and I'm also okay with their dragon designs, but your take on these sets is also very cool (especially because your brick-built dragon heads show that the rest of the build works also well without the cutesy heads). I also never really thought about how well the elf ear wigs of the dolls would work with MF heads, so that's also good to know. -
Yeah, it's a good point that TLG probably doesn't want to swamp all their themes with dragons, but still, I hope they'll do something more with Macy than that weird Dragon Thing she got this year (as it looked rather underwhelming, at least on pics - maybe it's better in hand?)

You're welcome! I recently also began to shift my focus from sentient robots (where I mostly build TF OCs by now) to mechs, so it's inspiring to see other people's takes on mech designs. On that note, how do you take Techfigs apart? I only know from my own experience that the legs and the head can be popped of (which reminds me, are there any other sockets that could take the Techfig-Head?), but it seems that some of your figs also lack the arms...
-
I also think that Macy could get a Dragon Mech, Ninjago and Elves nonwithstanding, simply because Ninjago's dragons are obviously based on eastern folklore style dragons, while the Elves dragons are more fairy-tale in their design. The dragon depicted on Macy's crest meanwhile is obviously a European style dragon, which would offer the potential for a build that would differ at least from the Ninjago dragons.

I think Macy could sell well with a bigger vehicle set, at least on the notion that Macy is red, a traditional heroic and popular color - not to mention that her associated animal is a friggin Dragon, which would lead to some pretty radical design concepts (like some huge Dragon-Mecha, or a Dragon-Jet, for example). Most sets that featured her prominently flew over my head for either being too expensive or not all that appealing in terms of design (which was the case with her latest set).

Thanks to various members of our community, I also now saw the leaks. - Seeing how much like an actual Land Raider Axl's tank looks like amuses me, but aside from that, it's probably a set I'll pass, as it will most likely be one of the most expensive sets of this wave. - The Berserker Bomber looks pretty cool, I'm looking forward to finalized pics of it. - Twinfector and Lance's weird... vehicle thing don't really appeal to me, except for the Spider Guy (mostly because of his helmet). I think I'll need some proper images to judge these two. - My only gripe with Aaron's X-Bow is the gold. I think it looks really ugly next to the dark blue and lime green. The build itself looks great though. - Finally, the Mech... my only issue with it is that the Mini-Mech inside it apparently still utilizes the HF hands, rather than those nifty new hands introduced with Mr. Freeze in the Batman Movie line (seriously LEGO, please give us those hands in some more colors!). Other than that, it's my favourite set of those leaks. As for the "Ant Things", as DraikNova called them, I would've probably overlooked them as well. They seem to be small enough to be used as ammunition for stud shooters. I think they could be also used to great effect as decoration on larger MOCs. Overall, I'm looking forward to these new sets. I'm only worried about the lack of small sets akin to the Ultimate sets or the mechs we got in previous years, but those sets look overall pretty nifty.

Meh, I missed the leaks. Any place where I can still find them? Also, the first thing that came to my mind when I heard that Axl gets a Land Raider was "METAL BAWKSES"

Ah yes, the "LEGO leak season" is about to begin soon. I'm curious what kind of nifty stuff we're about to get next year.

Man, it's been a while since I've seen anything utilizing the Tech Figs. I always liked those, so it's cool to see them return in some way. I generally like the design of this MOC for how it blends elements from various series (if I'm not mistaken, I spot Hero Factory, Knights Kingdom and a bit of Ice Hockey in there?). Having also a Tech Figure in there is just icing on the top!

[MOC] Seascape diorama with submarines.
ZORK64 replied to Rodiola's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
That's a very nice diorama, I'd love to see more pics of it. I like the plants in particular. -
Ah, that reminds me of the discussions and rumored leaks when Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U was still in development. Or when some other guy made both in MIiverse and on YouTube claims about how he got a Smash 4 Port on the Switch.

While I like the Space Knight vibe of Nexo Knights and therefore wouldn't mind if it would get continued, I can understand that Classic Castle fans would prefer if it would be replaced. In that regard, I wouldn't mind that as long as we'll get something else with a "Space Knight" Flavor - I would settle with something in the style of Classic Space, but with Space Marines and the like, though.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
ZORK64 replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wasn that Monstrux Piece also used for some ghosts in Ninjago a few years ago? -
Not to mention that such a black/green color scheme would be perfect for something like "Blacktron" Space Marines.

@legozebra Do you know if this book is also available in Germany? Then again, I could probably check for myself... what's the English title again? As for this new pic... Jestro has purple hair, huh? Interesting.

Oh, I didn't thought of Tron, but yeah, this guy looks more Tron than Starcraft now. I mostly thought of Terran Marines due to the backpack and the visor-esque featureless helmet. Yeah, I also got a 40k vibe from him. I think it's safe to say he's both 40k (chainsword, armor with shoulder pads, shield looks really Tau-like) and Transformers (design of the helmet, color scheme) TLG did flirt with those designs though. They had a very Starcraft-esque Space Marine in the CMF line called Galaxy Patrol (and also something that looks like a Space Marine Ork called Alien Avenger, which gives off a slight 40k Ork vibe). And if look over to the more fantasy-themed things, some of the older Castle sets were somewhat reminiscent of Warhammer and Warcraft with the dwarves and the trolls/orcs. Though then again, GW is somewhat infamous for not being fond of other companies making stuff that looks remotely similiar to their IPs, so expecting anything too 40k-ish might be unlikely (although then again, LEGO doesn't make tabletop miniatures, so...). As for others, the Battle Mech had a slight Power Rangers feel to it. So yeah, I think TLG could turn some of these concepts into actual sets without fearing for lawsuits left and right, I guess that, just like @K_Tiger said, LEGO simply doesn't want to make too many specialized molds, which is understandable (though I guess some of these could be re-used with some imagination). Alternatively, some of the designs might've been too grim for TLG's liking - I think that might be the case for the red demon-looking folks, which lack the comic relief quality of the year 1 baddies. I still hold out hope for the Cyborks though. These would be awesome if they would actually happen. btw, where can I purchase this book?

I really dig the nods to other franchises that can be found in these concept arts. Starting with the 40k-ish Orks and Khornates (I'd be super into the former, Orks are easily my favourite faction in 40k), and then there's this pic... ...which has designs that remind me of Power Rangers (top row, middle), Gundam (middle row, on the right), Transformers (bottom row, center), Starcraft (bottom row, right) and once again Warhammer 40k (top row right, middle row left and bottom row left). I'm especially in love with the blue 40k guy (top row right), the Gundam fellow and the Transformers Dude. Their helemets look very cool and provide designs that are so far not common in LEGO. I really hope that at least one (if not all) of them will show up at some point in the future.
