  1. After reading his review, DrillDozer's parts look very appealing to me. Surge became less interesting (but only because thinking about not using blue in my MOC). However, the lack holes for pins/axles and such is a downside IMO.
  2. There's not much more I can add to the recent posts. Awesome, this is.
  3. HF 2011 reviews! My jaw just hit the ground! Anyway, thanks for the review! Evo looks pretty cool, although I'm more interested into Surge (I've already read his review as well - and I have no idea why I don't post something there...). Only downside would be the back, but hey, that's only another challenge for passionated MOCists, right?
  4. Yay! New pictures! Thanks alot! Hmmm... it's gonna be really hard to me which villians I'll get. Fire Lord is thanks to his enourmous amount of pieces a sure buy, but I'm not sure which of the other 3 villians I should get. On the hero-side, I'll get Stormer and Surge, mostly because I need blue and white armour plates for a MOC.
  5. Thanks Aanchir, I didn't knew that. To make this post still on-topic: Is it possible that the torso armour is also attached via a ball joint? I seems so if I look at Jetbug's arms...
  6. Heh, well yeah, there was irony in it. And thanks for all the nice words.
  7. Huh? Which LDD contains stuff like Bionicle parts? Mine LDD from the Lego site only contains regular bricks (LDD does mean "Lego Digital Designer, right?). That sounds also interesting. Anyway, the whole "Build your own Hero"-idea is freakin' awesome!
  8. Uh... well, since I live in Germany, that probably means I'll have to wait 'til 2011... the Stars were available here in February 2010, while the first Glatorians were released in march 2009. Because of this, I'm actually expecting the new heroes to be relased around february/march 2011 in Germany. Luckily, I know a store were they released sets like those several weeks earlier...
  9. I had almost no problems with snapping pieces... except Mahri Hahli, Glatorian Gresh's feet sockets and one hand of the Cendox V1 Pilot. But I also hadn't MOCed much with the HF-Sets so far... anyway, I don't want to get off-topic here. I'm really excited about the new heroes and all the new parts they come packed with. The new limbs with a socket on one side and a ball at the other are probably my favourites, I guess as soon I'll get them, my Self-MOC will get another update for the sake of enhanced poseability. The new armour system is a mix bag in my opinion. The parts look really cool, and attaching them with a ball joint is interesting, but the plates lack axle rods, and that is bad because it limits the possibilities to modify them (especially with Bionicle parts). The Villians look a bit... meh. I guess it's because of their colour schemes. But they also come with a few neat pieces. I guess I'll get Jetbug and perhaps Fire Lord if he's not too expensive (if he's around the same price as Von Nebula, I'll probably buy him). One last question about all that new awesome stuff anyway: When will they hit the shelves?
  10. I'd like to see more Lightsaber colours (i.e. yellow) and the classic lightsaber hilt in different colours. I already got the hilt in three colours (old metallic from the first SW sets, bright grey from pick-a-brick and that new metallic look from a few SW-Magnet-Minifig-sets), but I'd love to see it in dark metall too. EDIT: Oh, the only new hilt I'd like to see would be one for Darth Maul.
  11. Hey yeah, I haven't it noticed yet, but... that remake of Judge would also quite fit well into the Hero Factory-canon... (however, Hero Factory always reminded of Slizers, probably because of the more futuristic setting) Anyway, he looks really neat. He's a wonderful update of the original. Did you use the original Judge Slizer torso?
  12. Hi everybody, I'm ZORK64,once self-called Master of Desaster, nowadays (also self-called) Guardian of the Weak, the Innocent and the Cute (don't take that too serious). I live in Germany and I'm more or less the typical nerd/MOCist. Although most people in other English forums told me that my English is rather good, I'm still used to mention that English is not my native language whenever I join an English forum. So don't pe surprised if my grammar looks odd (at least it looks odd to me...) or if I don't get something like a figure of speech. Since the release of the Slizers (somewhere also known as Throwbots) I'm a passionated Figure-MOCist, so I got almost every year a few Bionicle sets, but I never got much into the storyline of Bionicle itself. Same goes for Hero Factory now. I found the Eurobricks Forums thanks a link to the thread about the new 2011 HF-sets on the Brickipedia, and since I wasn't a member in any other forum about Lego in general (I'm member at BZPower, but as I mentioned, I'm not that much into the story-fluff), I decided to join here. If I'm not MOCing, I waste the rest of my (rather short) freetime with nerdy hobbies like Videogames (mostly on Nintendo Systems), Pen'n'Paper Role Playing Games and Tabletop Strategy Battle Games. Oh, and I should mention that my name is not related to the Zork games. That is in fact a coincidence, because I didn't even knew that there was already a video game of the same name when I picked ZORK as my web nick. Last but not least, I also got a profile on MOCPages, feel free to take a look there. And... that's all for now. I'm looking forward to nice and entertaining discussions on this forum (although I tend to join a forum, make a few posts, then became inactive for a rather long time and shortly after everybody already forgot me I return to do all that rubbish again).
