Glad I am not the only one unable to access Brickshelf... I wandered why I lost photos

Lovely shop 'tatertots'! Very colorful, it makes this very appealing. The detailed tools inside are great and the parts rack and snowblower are great, especially you take on the blower!. Great job and good luck in the contest

Which is your favourite 2012 Great Vehicle ?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
As much as I love the new wheelbarrow, I vote for the SUV and dirt bikes. Theres more to the set and the new SUV looks awesomely rugged -
This is awesome 'Mrcool1804'! The details are excellent on all your models. Fantastic job on this and the others
-
Awesome dealership 'rrigs'! The exterior is very nicely done, not over the top, and the landscaping adds to it's appeal. I read a few of the earlier posts regarding contacting Ford about using their logo on public photos. Is this a serious matter when it comes to this kind of thing? Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see it finished

Great little build 'RedGiant'! Lots of detail in a small trailer. Great job

Sweet ride 'Farnheim'. It has a very aggressive front end. The color choice is great as well. Great job
-
Awesome truck 'Nexus7'. It looks very close to the real truck, very detailed. Great job
-
Thank you for the complements everyone! Absolutely 'Bootz', and neat car. It does look like a snake
-
Excellent work 'Bernd'! The details are great and this looks great with the other modulars. Great job
-
Awesome truck 'Tearloch'! It's great to see it brick built. I've been hoping to see a real one. It looks great, very detailed. I hope you continue work on the truck and create the lift system for the crane
-
Thanks 'Ceroknight' and 'Farnheim'. I can't take all the credit as 'Sealander' pioneered the design with his smaller "Open Red Sports Car". I liked it so much I designed and built my own version of the iconic car. I like that little red car you made 'Farnheim'. I hope you put it in a topic with more pics. And I'll take you on that race offer! 1/4 mile for Pinks?

After seeing that video, I have a new look on firefighters. That is awesome! I had no idea that was a competition. Anyway, neat build. I take your firetruck... err, dragster, was inspired after the white one in the video? I like the diorama that goes with it, makes it complete. All it needs are more spectators

Cheating with roads - has anyone tried printing them?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Duck's topic in LEGO Town
I am currently drawing up new layout ideas, literally with pen and paper, and have thought about other ways of making roads. I have a good surplus, and yes it's very expensive to get these in bulk, as most were bought on eBay . However, there are big limits to using these plates. 4 lanes use twice the amount, and there is only one way to curve a road. Also, with the current plane sizes, the roads look to small. All that said, I have been thinking of painting some of my roads. Gentle curves and definitely a runway for my newer planes. Same goes for some of the landscape. The only drawback is no studs. I say take the creative approach. At least you don't have to worry about throwing away money if you don't like it. Best of luck -
Instead of creating a new thread for more 911's, I decided to add them here. In regards to these, after waiting almost a month for a few BL orders from overseas to arrive (d**n customs), I was finally able to finish my two 911's. I think pretty much bought up all those sloped black mudguards in the U.S. For this, I am sorry Anyway, these are inspired by the Gumball 3000... Well I guess any rally but, I think of the Gumball 3K for some reason. Maybe the extra color pallet or something. So here they are, hope you enjoy Nothing much different, just colorful! To quote Ferdinand Porsche, "If the design works, build a million". Well maybe he didn't say that but, he could have! Thank you for viewing

Awesome tipper truck 'Farnheim'. Again, fantastically detailed. I love seeing your builds! Do you have a city or town layout these are set in? Keep up the great work
-
Hi 'Phred', when/if you get a chance, would you mind indexing my old city layout ? Thank you

Awesome build 'DrNightmare'! It's great to see these brick built. The Interceptor is awesome, I happened to just have watched Mad Max yesterday. Anyway, great cars, I can't wait to see the new van

Are LEGO 2011 sets' values increasing?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Alexgri's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I took that gamble, as have many others. It wouldn't hurt to get an extra or two. TLG get's their product off the shelf and you help someone new to the hobby get a set they missed... Win Win Win? I think -
Fantastic plant 'lisqr'. Very well done, excellently detailed. I love looking at these pics! Keep up the great work

Are LEGO 2011 sets' values increasing?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Alexgri's topic in General LEGO Discussion
An idea of the price increase: the 10194 Emerald Night, originally $99.99, discontinued a few weeks ago. It is now averaging close to $150 on eBay but, like 'fyrmedhatt' said, many have bought small, or large arsenals of these sets. It may eventually reach much higher prices but, take a longer time for supplies to run down. Still it is more or less of a guarantee jump -
Less then a week after I got my first, I won another 4549 Double Stack Car for $60. Only $8 above it's RRP

Neat hot rod 'AS'! It looks awesome with no top! Interesting engine and neat idea for the exhaust. Keep up the great work
