  1. Fantastic MOC 'Skinny Boy' and great story! This is a very impressive and large build. The inner scenes are very detailed and disturbingly good. Excellent job and congrats on your promotion
  2. Sweet looking ride Steph has! Easily identifiable as a Vette. Nice color scheme too. Great build
  3. Nice little creation 'lt', simple and functional. Where did the sticker come from?

Nice layout 'Akm310'! It has some very nice features, I really like the commercial tower you built! I would sue the hell outa the city for putting a railroad so close to the residents! I kid; I know space constraints are a plague among many layouts. Still it's a very nice collection... Welcome to EB
  5. A good handful of BL orders, most small, in order to build a couple more cargo carts from 7734 Cargo Plane. I hate having to go through multiple sellers for a particular part but, no one has more than a few of the yellow technic base...
  6. Very nice work 'Steinkopf'. Great color choice and great job on the details, the pantographs are great! Keep up the fine work and welcome to EB
  7. Ah, better sense. I jumped the gun on the suggestion, assuming the highway was raised and a straight shot. I've always tried to imagine how to raise baseplate using only Lego. Seems tricky, anyway glad you are adding level crossings. That is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to layouts. Especially at shows, though I've only seen those online. I also noticed no harbor. Road and rail taking care of all the cargo and transportation needs?
  8. Very nice lodge 't_n'. It looks very cozy, I really like the hot tub and the wood rack is a nice touch. That slope behind looks pretty intense! Great build
  9. Nice looking layout 'JamesP'. It sounds huge, could you post more pics of different areas of the layout or a link to them? I like the spiral a lot. Are those white lines running up the legs supplying power further up the track? Very impressive
  10. That video is one of my favorites as well. SMOSH does awesome work I saw this video, laughed a bunch and thought I should share. He does an excellent job in stop animation but, could use some help with voice overs Attn. Mods: Could someone insert the video directly? I'm not sure how, I tried using the but, only got an email address. Thanks
  11. The Lego version didn't really appeal to me. I envisioned my town free of cold, snowy, weather because of southern beach style. That and it seemed a bit to unconventional,; driver exposed and such. After a bit of searching I found a previous topic on a rotary snow plow I saw a while back. Most of the photos and links have been moved or deleted but, luckily a real good example still exists! Here is 'Monteur's Damfschneeschleuder (steam snowplow) on Brickshelf. It's a really great design and nice to see again. Hope this gives you some inspiration!
  12. Awesome NASCAR 'TKOB'! The stickers really give it that necessary touch. Great idea for the orientation of the windscreens too. Do you plan on building more to go with this? Keep up the great builds <img src="http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/default_classic.gif">
  13. That is a gorgeous steam engine 'SavaTheAggie'. Another stunning work of art. It looks wonderful in motion, great job
  14. Good planning ahead for dust... Miserable problem; I'd like to design a tarp with a line and pulley system for ease of covering my future layout. I like the overall layout plan you designed. The museum sounds like a great original idea and there are a lot of other neat features. Will the highway from the city to the switching yard be raised? On designing the layout, I would have had the freight yard where the switching yard is, and have the direct route from the city to the freight depot. Either way this is still one awesome project
  15. It is confirmed in the U.S. for sure. Quite possibly everywhere on S@H, it's run it's coarse With people having paid over $1000 for the Cafe Corner or Market Street, I would say yes. It does run a good risk of being difficult, many have stocked up. You can look at BNSF and Santa Fe trains selling for a couple times there worth. It's just a waiting game. Just keep an eye of the price trends on eBay, Bricklink, and other online stores. Exclusive trains like those have all gone up pretty good. Maybe with the exception of the Hobby Train. That didn't seem to do as well as the others. I'm sure the E.N. and the Maersk will
  16. I see some great entries! Wish I could join Haiku: There is a Maersk train... Pieces are stuck in the box. No entry; anger
  17. Neat little mail van 'BRG'. It definitely has the old style look the had. They changed out ours for a slightly larger model but, I still see these around. As a suggestion, it could use some smaller headlights in exchange for a grill. Looking forward to future builds and welcome to EB
  18. Great set of modulars 'AT'! I really like the butcher/barber shop in and out. The Sport shop/arcade looks great as wel. They are both wonderfully detailed throughout. Great job on these makes me want to build my own modular
  19. Apart from what 'Calabar' mentioned regarding the annoying way you HAVE to name folders, I like the simplicity of creating subfolders for organizing pictures. The site definitely needs to be gone through with a fine comb. There are many empty and/or pointless files. I also wish the staff would also respond to their emails... On another note I can't believe it's still down... I wonder whats going on or what happened.
  20. Wow, this looks like a massive project! It looks fantastic so far 'Konjara', so many tiles! Keep up the great work, I look forward future updates
  21. kis katona = soldier, no? I like chocolate chip cookies : )

  22. Thats a really good suggestion to create the air intake to the quad-turbos and a proper rear. I thought it could use something else back there No worries, it's a tricky production car to follow anyways as they build so few. About the safety... a wreck at 100+, a top or no top probably wont help
  23. A few more eBay items: 1254 Shell Convenience Store MISB for for $11, 6531 Flame Chaser, and 3368 Space Center for $50
  24. Awesome Veyron 'TKOB'! This has great distinguished lines and curves. My suggestion though, would be shorten the front and lengthen the back a couple studs. Still, a sweet ride They made 20 targa tops
  25. This is one of my top, favorite trains of all time (I'm a 9V buff)! I got the Legends version for my 15th birthday with the club car and ran it for years. Trying to get one off eBay or Bricklink at a good price is almost impossible. I always wanted a second club car but, only found a good deal with an eBay listing of it and the train for $150. No one else bid, so I had to... Since then I've checked periodically for that car but, they are ridiculously priced. Still even on it's own this train is a gem ... that did it's job
