Hi everybody, I'm looking for a little advice. So I'm trying to make Hope van Dyne from the recent Ant-Man film. To me, the head and hair choices are obvious: Tauriel, because it's the same actress, and 62711 in Dark Brown, because it looks exactly like how she had her hair. To me, her normal outfit can be any generic female business outfit, and I own a few I can mess around with. However, the difficulty is with I'm going to wait for CMF Series 14 Fly Monster wings because they'll be significantly cheaper than the fairy wings, and the helmet will just be a generic helmet with a trans-black visor, but the torso is frustrating me. I can't find anything that resembles that torso. The closest I can find on Bricklink is this terrible abomination: I really don't like this choice, and if you folks have any suggestions, I promise you, they are greatly appreciated.

Can pics be embedded from non file sharing websites? Specifically, can I embed bricklink piece photos? Like this:

JaseTJ, that Firefly is really impressive. The shape of those wings is really nice, and I'd never even thought to use Zod's helmet for Firefly. I can't tell what's going on with his torso with the lighting, but you made the silhouette so perfectly, I can't complain at all.

Wait a minute- aren't one figure/one (out of scale) vehicle $10.00 packs encroaching on Lego Dimensions territory? I can understand that for Marvel there are video game rights issues, but there's a matching DC line! No way that they wouldn't just make those ones Dimensions packs, right? So is there something I'm missing, or is Lego just making weird choices?

So are you thinking: 3 Civil War movie sets -76050 -76047 -? 2 Avengers Assemble cartoon sets -76048 Iron Skull -76049 Avenjet Space 3 €/$ 10.00 battlepack type sets -76064 -76065 -76066 1 Juniors Loki/Iron Man set? -? For a total of 9(?!) Marvel sets in the first half of next year alone?

This sounds like an excellent decision. I wholeheartedly approve. Particularly if we get Captain Marvel, Wasp, or some redos of Comiccon exclusives. The only potential downside is that nobody really needs multiples of particular superheroes, do they? So they might not sell as well as SW battlepacks. I mean, if I'm a 10 year old, and both Auntie Beth and my good chum Tim buy me the set with Howard the Duck and Spider-Woman, I'm returning at least one of those, whereas I can use two stormtrooper battlepacks. Same goes for us adult collectors.

[MOC] Holy schrunken Batmobile 1966 [ 7 stud wide ]

Y'know, that is completely fair. Good luck! -
Holy cow. The truck is amazing. You should make a separate thread just showcasing it! By the way, I think it looks a little bit crowded around the tower with all the cylinder trails. I'd recommend some other flying effect or just reduce the number of figures there.

Wow, I love the way you've managed to capture the angle of the windscreens perfectly. Just like an earlier commenter, I thought you'd found some weird rare piece, but no, you've just combined existing pieces in a clever way. However, I was wondering- is there any way to add more red detailing onto the grill? It's not as accurate as the rest of the set. But that's a minor gripe, and regardless, I would buy this set in a heartbeat. I hope this project makes it! I've been supporting your project for a while, but I only just found this thread. -
Wow, this looks awesome! It's impressive how you managed to fit all the popout features and wheel rotations without adding significantly to the silhouette. However, I'm having trouble picturing why the cabin interior would prevent a gun. Could you take a photo of the cabin? That way, maybe someone could offer a suggestion.

This looks really cool. There's some really interesting methods, particularly in the figures. Has Lego ever used the Spongebob mold for anything other than Spongebob? And if not, are they allowed to, or is this one of the things where they're hamstrung by the Nickelodeon licenses?

Okay, sorry, I went back and tagged it. But hey, it got him interested! I also recommend everybody watch it!

This is amazing. Seriously, this is wonderful. The posing of the figures, the architecture, and the usage of the clear pieces to hold the flying bits are all great. Now, to be pedantic, (and I doubt anyone would even care about this enough to change it) the figures aren't perfect for the scene. During this scene, Cap was missing his helmet, Thor was capeless and sleeveless, and Hawkeyes costume is the one represented by his Avengers figure. Then again, you have all the Age of Ultron figures assembled, so as a display piece of those figures, it's perfect.

Skier1215, I love your Colossus. Which head is he using, or at least which color is it? I can't tell with that lighting.

Skier1215, I like your Bruce Baner and Luke Cage in particular. I like Namor's head, it's one of the LOTR elf faces, right? Your Falcon is also good- the wing construction is nice. However, I've always disliked the basketball player heads. Do you have other heads for black characters, or are those your only ones? Nice job all around regardless!

Yes, that's what I was referring to; they both use the same hair, do they not?

Hi, everybody, I'm new here, but I've followed this thread with great interest for nearly a year now. Because there's been a lack of actual creations posted here for the past couple of weeks, I figure I'd try to get the ball rolling again, with my MCU Sam Wilson figure, based on his costume in AoU/Civil War. He uses: Power Man head (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626cpb1108) Falcon wings (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=93250) Nightwing torso (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=973pb1645) Reddish Brown arms Black hands Captain Fox SW guns (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=61190f) Electro legs (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=970c11pb23) I tried a number of hair pieces with him, but none of them worked for me, so I left it off. The slicked back piece (i.e. the one both Lego Falcons have come with) has a widow's peak, which Anthony Mackie does not, and all the others seemed too large. If anyone has a suggestion, I'll try it out.
