  1. Here is a little scene I actually added few hours after posting this topic :D image1
  2. Sadly both monkeys were resettled to the pirate island which I 'll be featuring soon, once I plant another few palm trees on it. But a good idea, could do a monkey stealing treasure scene :D Thank you, still trying to do more little meaningful scenes to make it all look logical :)
  3. Actually am really proud of the hand fan she is holding in her other hand :D Am glad that the bustling effect was successful :)
  4. About a year and a half ago I posted about my mod on the original El Dorado 6276 set and I also talked about my love for classic lego, classic lego catalogues etc. For more on that thread follow this link: But let's get back to a year and a half later aka now. So I was adding bits and bobs trying to make it feel as a part of a lot bigger caribbean bluecoats port City and still remain true to the classic feel of the classic lego catalogues, hopefully I managed it. Try to enjoy the photos and give comments if you find room for improvement (of which there always is): The complete overview of the El Dorado City-Port-Fort: Close-ups of the docks: Infront of the tavern: The top of the fort with the always bussy governer: A lady walking the streets of El Dorado And more or less the same bunch of gold digging pirates at the beach: Caribbean Clipper is now Caribbean Brig and on top of that it has changed colours! Now it's a Redcoats ship which is moored for trading: With an added bonus of monkey Island easter eggs: (yes the kegg is filled with grog and yes Palido Domingo has a map on his back) Cheers :)
  5. Yup, it got quite a few of my friends into playing chess :)
  6. Yep, and probably the last good lego castle sets/factions released
  7. Thanks guys. Wanted to keep it simple, while even the original set really got it confusing with jesters as knights and bishop similar to the other sides knight. Am pretty happy with the black king and queen, so thank you :)
  8. @azog they are actually new model horses. Thank you both :)
  9. Here is my take on the 853373 lego chess set. Everything except the horses are lego originals (they are chinese made lego knockoffs) Hated the fact that you had to click and unclick each figure to move them, so I made my own version of the lego chess set. If anyone has tried to play it before, will know what I'm talking about :)
  10. bBeautiful build :)
  11. Beautiful scene :)
  12. Just a quick update to the castle. I 've enhanced the battlements and also got "rid" of the fugly baseplate :)
  13. Beautiful work and detail! Svaka cast majstore :)
  14. Love it, the video is beautiful. I 've done my own version that is exstensive mod on the set: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=111134
  15. Beautiful. Would be a great official set. Not too fancy or showy, but simply pretty :)
  16. Here is a little update to my redention of the El Dorado City-port-fort :D
  17. The hulls is beautiful it's just the yards which look a little bit too thick for my taste, but the rest is as sweet as it can get :)
  18. Technique isn't all that bad, but looks kidna strange as it's too thick and yes might look better in a bit darker colour. Black or at least some grayish, tanish colour
  19. Rigging looks odd. Think the string is too thick
  20. As I said before, it's beautiful. I think I'll steal a couple of ideas when I start working on my own redention of the rock island refuge
  21. Lovely! Where did you acquire the sleeping head?
  22. https://instagram.co..../p/5PGlMLTadv/ I've changed it a bit, adding a chappel and moving the cannons (the upper one was finnaly moved to the piers)
  23. Yeah, the cabin is missing some detail. The whole interior is actually. But it's a third ship that is slowly being made by spare parts left from other builds, altought I am pretty much happy with the exterior atm :)
  24. Looks nice, a good combination of realistic feel to it and some simple "it's a toy" solutions. Love the way it looks alot more real and detailed but still in a comparable scale to the classic lego sets.
  25. I'd do two things. Break the even angle of the bow by making it curve and make the stern curve in a way or at an bigger angle I'd remove the top black angled bow and replace it with one which goes straight up
