  1. All of this was OOC: We can address my IC actions in a somewhere else. Maxim is sending a platoon as we speak. And I'm sorry for being blunt, but I really hate it when we get people in here who don't read the rules, and do weird things like this. I'm totally okay with "Hey I'm on the fence about joining." But if you want to join BoBS, you've got to do the thing where you introduce your character in this thread (With pictures! Not Bricklink links) And then do at least 1 build introducing you character. If you can't take the time to do those insignificant things I have no respect. And maybe that's a bad thing because Eurobricks is a pretty respectful place, so I'm sorry. As you once again call me out for my actions, I want to remind you that we are an overly respective community, and it's not like I'm swearing, being overly critical, or being offensive. IRL I'm a pretty blunt person as well. That's just my personality. I try to tone it down, but I guess this caught me at a bad time, and I probably overreacted. So, I will be a man here and apologize. @Hart New Bob, I am sorry for my reply to your post in a way that was overly critical. I would love to have you as a member of Corrington. I like being a fake brit! I say Mate, and spell color, colour among other things.
  2. Not sure what you're doing here mate. I mean, either join, or don't. We'd all love to have more members in BoBS, but no one really cares about one post in one thread. If I wanted to use someone's character, I'd use any of the established characters in the game. I'm not, and I doubt anyone else will, use three lines of vague text in a story.
  3. Thanks Bodi, but I have neither ATM. The WTC Aurora was designed to fit in a small bin so I could have at least 1 ship while I'm at college.
  4. Nuts. Yeah, now I see it. You should really find a better picture of the class 3 example, the angle it's at confused me. Anyways, the WTC Aurora will be licensed as a class 2. Thank you
  5. Alright, what's y'all's opinion on my WTC Aurora? I want her to be a four, but, she is rather small, so I would accept a class three. WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr
  6. This looks great! I think you forgot to add Mesabi Landing to the map though, and I can't even see Argentia on there.
  7. This is great! So is the trade MCRA just the same as the old MCRA, with the upkeep thing? Or did I read something wrong?
  8. And the title of "Most Chaotic Evil Character in BoBS" transitions to you, Captain Braunsfield. Kudos In all seriousness, great build, I really like all the steps in the assembly process.
  9. @Ayrlego Yes, that would be great! Tell the story however you feel fit, across multiple topics, and multiple baseplates as well if you feel that works better.
  10. Very nice ship @Bodi. I made one recently with the same hull, but I waited to post it because your's is so much better than mine. She could use some cannons though. Don't want anything... unfortunate... to happen to her.
  11. Location: Trador Tags: Commercial (Again) WTC Captain Biff walked along the pier towards the storehouse near where the WTC Aurora was docked. WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr "You da watchman?" Asked Biff gruffly "Why yes, my duties include sitting in front of this warehouse and watching it." Said the Eslandian watchmen elegantly "Figured." Biff lifted the watchman with ease, and held him over the end of the pier. WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr "Gah! Why are you doing this!?!" screamed the watchman "We be needing da stuff in your warehouse." Said Biff Biff let go WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr "You could have bribed me you brute!" Yelled the watchman from the water "Meh." Said Biff He turned to his compatriots. "Load er up!" He yelled WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr The WTC marines sprang forth, already carrying boxes of stuff they had acquiesced from the city. They entered the small warehouse, and began taking the supplies from inside. WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr Nothing was safe from the prying hands of the WTC. Everything not nailed down was stripped, and taken WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr The WTC Aurora was quickly loaded. Built for cargo hauling, the ship had plenty of room for goods. WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr With everything loaded, they began pulling away, letting the gangplank drop into the water as they left. WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr And soon they were on the open sea, far from the consequences of their actions. WTC Aurora by North White, on Flickr FIN Thanks for reading the final installment of the WTC's adventures with the soccer cup. Thanks again to Maxim for hosting, it was a great idea for a challenge. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE enter my minichallenge, you can find it here. The WTC Aurora is my newest and only ship currently. It was all I could bring to college, so It's going to see some heavy use in my stories. Yes, it's basically a slightly better version of the WTC Wolf's blood from the ship explosion story. And also @Bodi made a way better ship just recently from the same hull, so I was a bit reticent to post it. C&C appreciated, I plan to go back to my regular characters next post.
  12. Well, this all looks great. I can't wait for the next MCRA to start. But will the new MCRAs have character skill trees? I'm just curious. Post no 666!
  13. Very nice plantation. The Vanilla plants are very well made. I like the little house as well, though I think having glass windows is a little anachronistic. Regardless, I do like the windows, and the build as a whole is great!
  14. Really can't wait to see what you do with your story thaum. The Prison build is pretty nice too. Don't forget to include me in your zany plans! I still want to collab with you when this kicks off.
  15. Location: Trador Tags: Small Artisan After losing in the 617 Soccer Cup, the WTC marines console themselves in a local Trador Bar. Trador Bar by North White, on Flickr Fortunately, property damage was minimal. FIN No Story today, but I wanted to get out a build to express my gratitude to @Maxim I for his soccer cup minichallenge. The Bar scene shows off my entire collection of WTC marines, and I thought it would be fun to make a little scene with them. C&C appreciated, and don't forget to build for my minichallenge! More Pics
  16. Here's the original press release, which I got off of reddit https://www.lego.com/en-us/aboutus/news-room/2017/september/interim-results/ I don't know what to think. We could blame it on new molds, high costs of Lego, or a change in the market, but I think only Lego knows. I just hope they figure it out. Hopefully those 1400 people do okay.
  17. Agreed. I don't think Gilmore Girls will get it. By Wikipedia's measures, it got a fourth of the viewership of Big Bang Theory Wonder's of Peru, that appeals to who exactly? People in Peru who build lego? Research Aircraft-- Looks like a UCS https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Blue-Power-Jet-31039 Nice, but limited audience. I am your Father- Existing License Exclusion Nasa Space Shuttle- There were like two in the last three years, I'm not even going to bother finding them. Umbilical tower -- Who on earth wants just the tower that launches a space craft? So, we can chalk up this review to failure. And there's only six. Better luck next time guys?
  18. Fantastic build Capt Wolf. It really captures the image you based it off of. I love how it's kind of minimalistic, but still very elegant. Your University is a Hell of a lot nicer then mine, by the way.
  19. Gorgeous build Keymonus. I really like what you did with the library. Story is pretty good too.
  20. Very nice build, as usual Capt Wolf. Are those custom bottles on the shelf? I don't recognize them.
  21. Very well put together, but I feel like this could have been a part of something bigger. Regardless, it's still very nice. I didn't know it was called an Orangrie. Might have to slip that into conversation sometime...
  22. Nice build! But how long before you strip the cave and sell it for cash?
  23. Magnificent. I really need to figure out how to do forced perspective builds. But your's takes the cake Kai.
  24. Wow Pombe, this is the best build I've seen from you. You should have saved it for AG2, I'm hoarding All my SciFi builds for it.
