  1. Hi Ya'll, Mesabi here. So one of the things I really enjoy about BoBS is exploration. But how much of the world have we even touched? I decided to compare our world with the real one. Comparison map silhouette by North White, on Flickr Assuming the maps are the same type of projection, and the BoBS world is the same size as ours, this is what the size of the known world compared to ours. I made a few assumptions, as I don't know the actual latitude and longitude of the BoBS world. Maybe @SkaForHire can help clear it up for me otherwise, just a quick overview, for your consideration.
  2. Thanks! When I took the pictures I thought I had enough daylight to make it look alright, but unfortunately, it didn't turn out quite perfect. Nah.... Thanks! Yeah, it really got into the floorboards.
  3. Very nice build Ayrlego! I think the roof is fine. And nice interior . But I must disagree with your storage methods. The WTC knows you can store a lot more if you cram everything in haphazardly!
  4. Location: Arlinsport Tags: Medium Factory Arlinsport had a moderate WTC presence. And today a new factory was opening. Hat House by North White, on Flickr "Those damn yellow jackets said their product was going to be very important if we fight a war." Said the chief inspector. "So this mission might be our last..." The oarman said nothing, but looked concerned. Everyone knew the stories of the WTC. Hat House by North White, on Flickr The inspector disembarked. The factory was located on the outskirts of the city, along the great sea cliffs that surrounded most of the island. Hat House by North White, on Flickr A WTC elite greeted him. "I'm Mary. Welcome to our little establishment!" She said with an evil chuckle The inspector said nothing, and the two walked over and into the building. Hat House by North White, on Flickr "The WTC is proud to present the crown with a place for creating Shakos!" Hat house by North White, on Flickr "We take black cloth, and make hats!" Hat House by North White, on Flickr "Then shifty pete slaps a gold Corrington logo on them!" Hat House by North White, on Flickr The two walked out. "And all this is provided to the crown, free of charge. Because the WTC loves Corrington.â„¢" And so, the WTC actually did something slightly Corrish for once. FIN Thanks for viewing my build! This will knock out half of the factory points required for Arlinsport to advance to the next level. It is also to be licensed by Arlinsport, if that can be arranged. Originally, this was supposed to be my second Charlatan Bay build, but well, I'm not sure if we're allowed to build there. C&C appreciated!
  5. @Drunknok, where are we supposed to comment on your challenge entries? I really like your entry, but don't want to pollute the thread.
  6. Location: Arlinsport Type: Small Commercial The Bank of Corrington's payment desk was seldom graced by anyone from the WTC, but today, there was an exception. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr "You people, are actually paying?" The banker asked in surprise. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr "Of course! The WTC always pays its debts. Eventually. We're always com-" The Marine was cut off "Why is the chest leaking?" The banker asked in concern. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr "Uh.. I think we grabbed the wrong chest. Terribly sorry." The two marines grabbed the dripping chest and hurried out. The Guardsman grabbed a broom. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr An hour later they returned to the bank, carrying a chest clearly filled with gold. As they walked in, one of the marines slipped in the mysterious liquid. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr Gold flew everywhere, landing in the puddle and underneath chests. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr The banker said nothing. "Well that's half of the loan sorry-we're-not-cleaning-it-up-bye." Said a marine, and the two darted out. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr And the rest of the day, the room stank of what was probably horse blood. FIN Thanks for viewing this little build to commemorate me paying off some of the loan I took from the BoC! @Bregir, funds will transfer when I get to it. If Arlinsport would like to license this build as a small commercial, that would be great as well. C&C appreciated!
  7. Location: Arlinsport Type: Class 4 The WTC Teamwork was raised to replace her sister, the Beacon. WTC Teamwork by North White, on Flickr About to leave for work, but the MCRA starts tonight. So, I'll get the story up tomorrow.
  8. Very nice @Drunknok! I can't wait to see where this takes you. The microbuilds are great, and I can't wait to see more of them. Good luck on your voyage!
  9. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Medium Cultural The Church of the Order in Mesabi Landing was usually where weddings were held. Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr "Dear friends and family.... We are... gathered here.... today" The priest droned. Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr "To.... join... these.... two in.... holy matrimony..." *BANG* Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr Agnes walked into the church, pistol smoking, drunk as hades. Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr "So! You's the happiest couple! Well let me tell you people about getting married....." Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr "Madam, you should leave...." Said the groom. Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr Agnes knocked him to the floor. "I pronounce you man! And... ah who cares." She slurred Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr Agnes ran out, leaving the wedding guests in stunned silence. FIN So, I got a sailboat with clear sails for Christmas, and I wanted to experiment with them as stained glass windows. I'm not sure if it worked, but I'll let y'all be the judge of that. Originally I was going to make this be Agnes sitting through a boring church service, but I thought this would be funnier. Hopefully it's not to sacreligious. C&C appreciated!
  10. Location: Zone 35 Type: Class 2 The newest addition to the WTC's fleet was the WTC Dog Days. WTC Dog Days by North White, on Flickr Designed for hauling cargo medium range, she was just another addition to the Brick Seas WTC Dog Days by North White, on Flickr Yup, nothing to see here folks. Just another free class 2 ship. FIN C&C appreciated, but I'm not expecting much today. Also I need to raise my ship levels again...
  11. To the Garvian Admiralty, We respectfully ask that the WTC Beacon (4) be taken into custody as it is illegitimately being sold by Captain Silas Pike. As the WTC has fulfilled the conditions as agreed upon for the release of the ship, we ask that the ship be rightfully handed into WTC hands. We do not think that the precedent for ransoming ships and then refusing to return them is one the prize court should associate themselves with. We hope you agree. -Agnes Mesabi OOC: Look, I'm not going to get my feelings hurt over this, but it's not cool that you're reneging on what we agreed upon, Kwatchi. Everything might have been agreed out of character, but it's like my grandfather always said. "If you ain't worth your word, you ain't worth anything."
  12. It does! I got it on clearance, so it was an extra good buy. And I'm guessing there will be quite a few redshirt WTC troops on this one. Yeah, The WTC just likes blowing stuff up, so they keep explosives on hand. I recently realized that TNT was historically innacurate, so I've been meaning to do a build showing that it's gunpowder based explosives labeled 'TNT' It's on my huge to do list...
  13. Nice ship! It reminds me of the classic pirate vessels. I'd license this as a class 3, as it has a middle section. The general rule is just a bow and stern is a class 2, and having a middle section or 2 makes it a class 3.
  14. Lucky you @Ayrlego! Have fun digging through the PM for the last few days though...
  15. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Small Commercial Adventure Purpose: To hunt down the Red Rascal Pirates of zone 35. Troops: 10 WTC Marines- Red Squad Coffers: 10 Dbs Character List "You gentlemen are some of the WTC's finest. The Smartest Captain. The most Decorated Marines. And Tony, who's just a cool dude." Said Agnes. Mesabi Landing AMCRA by North White, on Flickr "Thank you Madam." Said Tony with one of his famous grins. "Now unfortunately, We have a problem. There are pirates in the area. They attacked our ships a few months ago. And now they're based somewhere in the vicinity. Hiding..." Mesabi Landing AMCRA by North White, on Flickr "They're the Red Rascals. Former Corrington soldiers who turned to villainy. Kinda like us actually. Anyways they're lead by Big Hat Barry. They have a basecamp on one of the islands in zone 35. Here's a convenient list! Isle 14: Argentia (I think we would have noticed if they were on our own island!) Isle 15: Cacadia Isle 16: Uncharted... Isle 17: Uncharted... Isle 18: Celestia Isle 19: Garma's Key Isle 20: Uncharted... Isle 21: Uncharted... Isle 22: Uncharted... Isle 23: Ile d'Ore (Let's hope they ain't here. I don't want to deal with Oleon as well) "So, while we have our Gunboats on patrol, you fine gentlemen will search each island by row boat, to try to locate the camp, and deal with it. That clear?" Mesabi Landing AMCRA by North White, on Flickr "Yes Ma'm!" They said in unison. FIN C&C appreciated. This will be licensed as a commercial by Mesabi Landing, and I plan to use it as Agnes's office for the future. Yes, it's a modified version of the Dr. Strange Set. So, it probably looks better than most of my regular builds.
  16. The galley by North White, on Flickr Count Mesabi was not happy that they had to stop and receive a message or get assassinated by an unknown Galley, but nonetheless he ordered his ships to lower the sails and to come to a stop. The galley by North White, on Flickr But what could the message be? FIN C&C appreciated. I had fun with this little Galley. I hope it's decent looking....
  17. Ah, don't worry about it. The WTC's use/abuse of mining explosives makes us very willing to share mining techniques and technologies. We are happy to agree to any such agreement. Just don't make me regret it!
  18. Any updates @Bob De Quatre? Not complaining or anything, I'm pretty invested in BoBS, but I'm curious if we could get an update for 2018.
  19. I'm sorry if you wanted to try my characters. As a citizen of Corrington, I guess I expected to be tried in a Corrish Court. You are welcome to try the captain of the Beacon, captain Carolina, but my character Tyrell, was on the Icarus Returning which escaped to mooreton bay. It didn't teleport there, it simply escaped somehow. Captain Tyrell was the leader of the squadron IC, so he is the one being tried. You are completely free to show what's happening to the Beacon right now, both Captain Carolina and crew. And, I believe you've been called as a witness in the trial of Captain Tyrell. RP etiquette is being used here, it's just a little complicated. And I will stress I have done everything in my power to answer for my mistake of attacking your shipping. The Builds, the trial, it's all to smooth over my mistake.
  20. Oy! I thought the whole direction we were going for was one of peace! Even as someone who regularly pours gas on fires, I have to disagree with your actions here! Sure we're a little cross with @MKJoshA because he's being piratey, but war with the sea rats is not something I think Corrington wants. But I'll let @Bregir have the final say here. And the WTC is a Corrish entity that usually tries to stay in line with Corrish ideals. And one of those ideals is peace with Charlatan Bay. But, if it's war you want, the WTC will do everything in its power to support Corrington. And we're damn prolific builders you know... Great build though. It's a very nice captain's cabin.
  21. Thanks Bregir. I do plan to license the build. I'll do my best to make things not look like "a 1995 top down adventure game," lol Thanks Bodi! Glad to hear you liked it! And glad I can help. I do understand I'm treading a line here. But, since the election season is over (Which I had no idea about) I'll lay my cards on the table. (Because I actually had larger plans for this. ) I was trying to influence Eslandolan seats away from @Capt Wolf to weaken Eslandola. I figured if I did builds showing @gedren_y's movement being attacked, people would vote for him more out of dislike for the WTC's actions. By the way, this is all OOC: so I don't want you guys using this against me. As for showing someone else's people in a build, I felt like I could show a few Eslandolan citizens showing their dissent. I mean there are 10 minifigs doing this. You can take that as you will, either as a whole movement, or as 10 angry jerks. But, this was really just testing the waters for me, and if I went to far, I'll be more careful in the future. 1) Dangit! You guys should post that stuff. 2) If you look to the far right in first photo, you'll see something interesting... Anyways, the way I see it, the WTC guys came in, made a speech and riled up some Eslandolan citizens. I don't feel like that is to far over the line for rping, but again, I was testing the waters here. And, since campaign season is over, I don't think their will be anymore incidents. (Though I lament the fact that that is the case.) Thanks! And that is the case. I didn't reach out to you or @Capt Wolf because I was literally trying to influence your guy's politics. I figured that would just lead to big ole "Nos!" from you guys.
  22. Location: Weelond Type: Medium Educational The shouts echoed through the streets as a large crowd walked towards the library where the independent political movement was making campaign materials. Weelond Protests by North White, on Flickr Some were armed. Some were not. All were angry at the prospect of losing a seat that represented them. Weelond Protests by North White, on Flickr "We have to go now! They're at the door!" Weelond Protests by North White, on Flickr The lead protester tried to kick the door in. Weelond Protests by North White, on Flickr A campaign staffer paused briefly to look at the door as they banged on the doors. Weelond Protests by North White, on Flickr They dropped their things and bolted out the back. Weelond Protests by North White, on Flickr With a cry of, "You idiot, the doors open the other way!" the protesters rushed in. Weelond Protests by North White, on Flickr One grabbed a candlestick and brought it down on the printing press. Weelond Protests by North White, on Flickr Outside, the city guard arrived, but were blocked by the protesters. Clearly, it would be a violent campaign season... FIN Thanks for viewing my build for Weelond. C&C appreciated!
  23. And bumping up this settlement is my large Artisan, the Greenway Restaurant, to be licensed by Bregir https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/157504-cor-fb-new-haven-greenway/
  24. Location- New Haven, Alicentia Type- Large Artisan New Haven was a sort of way station for several nations. And it was here that Greenway Restaurant was located, to serve all of the different cuisines. Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr It was also a meeting place for Corrish soldiers, who had a particular mystery on their hands... Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr "Seriously, where in Hades's name are all the horses going?" asked the sergeant. "We all know it... it's..." the other soldier was interrupted by the loud clopping of horses. Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr The WTC Calvary rode up, loudly guffawing. Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr "And then they all died. Huh! That's a lot of Valets! Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr "Gentlemen, watch our axes and horses. There's a Horse thief running amok! And FYI we don't tip." Said the Dragoon. They both entered the Greenway Resteraunt Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr The two were seated by the lovely hostess Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr Before she could hand them a menu, they told her to order for them. "I tell you," said the first. "The WTC has really got things going on in the Brick Seas." Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr "And we're glad to be a part of it. But we need more members! If only more prominent members of Corrington would join us!" Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr The hostess yelled at the chef. "Daily Special! And make it snappy, these guys look jumpy!" Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr The chef sighed, and walked outside. Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr Past the livestock... Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr and over to the cauliflower... Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr A while later, the hostess brought the Calvary a big pot of Cauliflower soup. Greenway restaurant by North White, on Flickr They hated it, and tipped accordingly. FIN Thanks for viewing my build for @Bregir ! He won this with his awesome entry into my minichallenge like three months ago. Maybe the famous Herlock Sholmes can solve the mystery of the disappearing horses on Alicetina as well! Anyways, I hope it's up to his standards. Money will be forwarded as well eventually. This build also marks the entry of the WTC Calvary, who actually ride their horses. C&C appreciated! Also this marks 1000 posts! Let's hear another round of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czqhyVGdYiE
  25. Any chance I could get a bigger one? I know there was a huge one on Brickshelf...
