  1. As I have written in your older topic... just great! Waiting for final version! I love the long wheel base. :) Max
  2. Tommy nice work, but I got bad experience with knob gears. Under high torque (2 XL Motors in my Tatra 8x8 development version) the side knob gears started to screw the axles on which they were and the whole system started to skidding. After while all the 3 knob gears were damaged. The problem is that the side knob gear axles are free on inner side and not reinforced... Max...
  3. I like the 2 sections lift a lot. Looks very promosing! Max
  4. The design of R8 LMS is very bad. Not a good model. Max
  5. Sylvian, I like your chassis it looks very good. While it is WIP you make a lot of changes on it likr reinforcing mentioned parts. I'm looking forward for final version. Motor details are very pretty... :) Max
  6. This will be my first modular building. I like the Brick bank very much... :* Max
  7. Nice winter service truck! I would make the front snow plow otherway. The rear gritter is a good idea with technic gears. I like the cabin and body very much... :) Max
  8. Thank you for review! :) Max
  9. Legotechnicus, you should make a new topic! It looks very good! So you make the normal military version of Tatra 815-7... :* Max
  10. Niceee... I'm looking for final version. ;) Max
  11. Very nice details and inspirations. Good work... :) Max
  12. Really nice... Nice mixer and all the scene. Good work! :) Max
  13. Great model! Great solution. The small hexapod in explaining video dragging the battery box is so cute... :) Max
  14. Great model! I like the solution with extendable 32L axles a lot. Good work! Max
  15. Thank you Majkl. I was waiting for your comment all the time because we have written to ourself in your Inferno & Inverno topic. I like your MOCs a lot :) Yes the steering is other. I tryed also your solution which I have seen also by other Tatras. It moves freely a lot by itself and causes unneeded movements. It make it's work but bump steer was to big. My solution is not so nice but is more direct and more heavy duty. Yes the chassis is completely other :) Yes you're right. On one side a liked this longer Tatra more and on other side I must do it so. As you know the halfaxles are connected and rotating on driven central axle what causes friction by suspending. As I said this Tatra was developed as heavy duty Tatra to climb on obstacles higher that model itself. By full suspension was friction quite big. I minimized it by making of wider halfaxle arms to 7 studs. This minimizes the friction but there is more space for each halfaxle needed in longitudal direction. + there are needed 2 studs between axle modules to connect the central driven axle. So the final lenght of the model can not be shorter. ***** Following text is written general not meaned to you. :) There are many tests and try outs behind this model and this is not a copy of any others model. Tatra was also not developed to compete with any other model. There was also no objective to use many XL motors to make this model more interesting. The reason of 4 XL motors is described in my first topic post. When I put down all the body elements and gear it down there could be also 2 XL motors enough. But I wanted to use nice details and make it fast. Thank you ones more... :) Max
  16. 9fingers, I do not want to glorify me and my model with this topic. It's presentation of my model so do not see any other sense of this presentation. I have seen Majkl's Inverno. It's great, I like it very much, the color scheme is also great. The Tatra solution that he used can be found in many other Lego Tatras. So I do not know who of them used this solution as first. Majkl did a great job but when you look closer at my Tatra is similar just in system of used 12t gears. The halfaxles are completely other as the whole chassis and drive and was completely developed during my testing process to suit my needs. On first 2 axles I use also LA holders instead of Double Pin Connector Toggle Joint because this offered me better option for my needs. When I got time maybe I disassemble this Tatra in modules and you see more... Max
  17. Thank you. Yes the photos and focus videos were made with Canon 5D Mark III and I used mostly the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens for better perspective. The videos of climbing Tatra were made with my smartphone... For video editing I used the Adobe Premiere which I can recomend to all. I learned to use it in one day. It got very good user interface. Yes I decided to build the smaller Tatra then Madoca1970 awaiting better peeformance what has been confirmed immediately by itself. After my tests and studying of philo pages if you use the XL or L motors on maximum load, there is 1 IR receiver per XL/L motor needed. You need cca. 1A at max load. 1 LiPo can then feed 2 IR receivers. Later I replace the IR receivers with SBrick which can feed 2 XL motors at maximum load... It was horror to film the Tatra under the sun when the IR receivers were lit by the sunlight. Smartphone in one hand, IR controller in other and suddenly random motor felt out. It cost me a lot of nerves... :D Max
  18. No problems... look at video at 2:45. You can see that the one linkage connection point on the rack is one stud shifted too. :) I'm now working on smaller Tatra where I used other solution. The halfaxles are on one line and I used different type of steering suitable for smaller models. Max
  19. Yes... that was the main objective. Thank you. :) Yes I love the fake engine a lot. First I used the normal big V12 TLG engine but I wanted somwthing different. This one suites very well I thing... Thank you :) I build first simple body but then I wanted to do it prettier. By Trial truck every gram of weight is minus so I could go the Model Team way. When I was adding the first aid kit I though on you. I knew that you like it. Thank you Ingmar... :) Yes you're right. It's a different Trial truck. I do not like the lazyness of normal trial trucks so I wanted fast version with fast steering and high ground clearance. Thank you. :) Thank you all for the comments :) Max
  20. Thank you... :) Max
  21. I know... I like it... yesterday I bought second set to make the plane bigger. I built in the first class and bussiness class... economy is to do... Here look on WIP... wings will be modified different way... Max
  22. Awesome piece of art! Max
  23. Nemo57, very nice planes. :) You are missing this beautiful plane from Lego friends. I bought it few weeks ago because I did not have chance to buy older planes. I know the colors are... but it looks not so bad in real. :) Interior is very nice: Max
  24. Awazing model! Great work! Max
