  1. I would have preferred the original voices, but I guess this is a good thing. That means the shown figs were real (prototypes), most likely! (don't know if that's a good thing...)
  2. True, and Gravis should easily overpower most other masters. A combo of Gravis and Griffin at full potential should be ultra overpowered and might be able to counter the Time element. (I know, this is far too theoretical for what the show is and who it's targeted to)
  3. I hope it's Nelson, as a black with purple ninja would absolutely rock! The thing that bothers me is that the Time element would be on a completely different level than others, like Water or Smoke for example. Another thought, speed and gravity effect time according to physics. I imagine an awsome Gravis-Griffin combo!
  4. Oh wow, that's quick! And I had fun writing that scene. It was a bit of an experiment, so it's nice to hear you liked it. I think an episode should have a healthy amount of 'flesh' to it, but I don't want to take to much of people's free time. Anyway, my saga will continue soon!
  5. Great shots! I bet this fig thanks its mere existence to the minifig-in-nature photographers on Flickr and instagram, so perfect!
  6. Great to hear that, have fun! Oops, my bad! If you don't really need the figs, you could sell them separately and keep the bricks. I think you could bricklink the bulk of the bricks in these sets cheap (in bulk), for the money you earn by selling the sets (once again, if you don't really care about the figs). Personally, I would keep Smaug, for both value and collection purposes. It's up to you!
  7. A build with much character, great atmosphere! Once again, your storytelling is excellent, Sunder! The concept of the silent brawl is great, I might want to use it later on.
  8. Nice work on the vegetation and the heads of small rock fragments (I presume)!
  9. "The True Mythical Legendary Marvelous Evil Penguin Loop of Lore And Wonder" My laughter is killing me!!! I should have checked this thread more often!
  10. Firstly, welcome to Eurobricks and the Guilds! (I haven't been able to post in GoH for two weeks, hence the late welcome) You have already read a HUGE amount of lore, which is great, but it's even better that you enjoyed it so much! After the Kali civil war, Mitguardia - and thereafter all of Historica, to a slightly lesser extent - was fighting the Algus. This whole event started with The Algus Saga, many members have contributed to it, but there is no continuing line of links between chapters, unfortunately. I believe this is where it all started, so that's something I guess. It was followed by the Frozen Beyond Contest, you'll find all entries here. Concerning Nocturnus, the resistance against the Black Spire is growing stronger under the surface. There was also the Desert King Nocturnus Crusade, but I never absorbed the matter thoroughly. Maybe this is a helpful point? If it's no time for challenges or contests, there are still plenty of personal stories to read. Most of them list the links to all previous chapters in the latest one, but some have a continuing chapter-to-chapter link system, which is nice for new readers. A few personal stories: Osric Farwind by MiloNelsiano Adira Magdeburg by Adair (not sure what part is exactly the saga and what isn't, but [searchInKey]=&search_app_filters[forums][sortKey]=date&search_app_filters[forums][sortDir]=1"]this is the place to find it) The Aestwäld Saga by TitusV The Onicius Prologue, The Exetrius Saga by myself (sorry for self-advertisement! ) Man, I've been spending hours on this post digging up old thread... but I hope it's helpful for you and maybe others, too.
  11. Welcome back (I think?), Vlad! As far as I can tell, you didn't miss any major events, but today is my first day with proper access to internet in two weeks, so I've only been keeping up with the news 'from a distance' so to speak. Today's my first day home after my holidays in the Alpes Maritimes, France. In the meantime I worked out four episodes of rough story material and a list of about fifteen other MOC ideas, most of them related to the City of Zotharith. Apart from today, I won't have access to my bricks for another week, but after that I hope to continue building.
  12. Agreed on all points! Set-wise, I think Garmadon's return would be sweet, in all cases (plot-wise, I'm not sure). I'd love a Lord-Sensei evil variant, btw!
  13. Abyssal blood orcs? Hellfire dwellers? Pyrotrolls, maybe?
  14. Now that we're talking of that Rogue headpiece, I thought maybe it could be combined with the blue Airjizu Nya head for a purist minifigure version of Dogshank. Or just use it for Skybound ninja hunters (can anyone share how that looks?) Anyway, I'm really hoping it ends up in Ninjago, in black please!
  15. *insert "It's happening!" meme here* Oh man, these are great! I wish they had done this earlier, spread over the previous waves, but it's cool nonetheless. Creeper fan and Astronaut are the coolest ones for me, btw, is that a Pepper Pepperoni reference?
  16. Oh god no... In such case, I would definitely bring down technology and choose the side with the "evil" wizard lords of destruction!
  17. I'm a bit out of the loop, has anything interesting been revealed at SDCC for NK?
  18. Thank you! So, it's back online again! I will support (already did with the other one).
  19. So the wait continues...
  20. Mind you, this does not necesarily mean that there will be no set reveals, but it's a little more unlikely. I hope for some more substantial discussion material, too!
  21. Busy with too many projects!

  22. "LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu Tommy Andreasen (showrunner), Kevin and Dan Hageman (writers, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu), join Simon Lucas (design lead), Christopher Stamp (designer), and Nelson Lamonica (property lead) discuss the latest season of the Cartoon Network TV series, offer a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the toys, and talk about new stories in the Ninjago universe. Vincent Tong (voice actor) will discuss his role as the voice of Kai, the Red Ninja. Moderated by Brian Bowler (marketing director). Sunday July 24, 2016 1:00pm – 2:00pm Room 7AB" http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-panels-at-san-diego-comic-con-2016/
  23. Completely with you here! In support of magic costume changes: the ninja got their elemental kimono robes magically, when they were in the Temple of Light (this episode). I know there are subtle differences between terms like suit, costume, robes, garb, etc. but in the case of Ninjago and this community, everybody knows what they refer to, right? Printing on figs, simple.
  24. It is, this year it came in this set: http://brickset.com/sets/40165-1/Minifigure-Wedding-Favour-Set
