Who is your favorite Ninjago villain?
Exetrius replied to Master_Data's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
How about.. YES! -
Really adorable... I want to pick it up and hug it!
-
Impressive work! The fully closed tube slide is great and the rock cliff area is just how you would see it in a real water park! Futhermore, I see you rounded all corners in that massive stream pool, which looks nice and realistic. Two things that would have been nice: a snack bar area and water spouts. But overall: fantastic work!

Well, I think that it comes off, but as being a plane instead. I think this thing is one of those multiple-vehicles-in-one sets.
-
The curved inside is especially well done
-
Note that it is unlikely that all of these (location based) sets are big and detailed. I just don't want (us) to get all hyped up for things that turn out to be much less complete than expected. Admittedly, it's VERY hard not to picture Ninjago's best wave yet

I did not say 'motif', I said 'piece', and it is indeed a new one for certain. And I know the aeroblade has a stud on the side, that one is being used for the 1x1 round tile. Do you mean the skull piece could be compares with the icecream cone piece; a pin on the bottom and a hole on top (to fit the blade in)?
-
That's Misfortunes Keep, right? Not Tiger Widow Island.
-
Haha, much true! How about Ghost Master Bansha or CMF Banshee? They don't wear a skirt or trousers over their ghost tail... Okay, we've had enough dirty fun about this, we should get back on track with the discussion!
-
How? Remember the aeroblade doesn't allow studs to be attached on the side, only 3 clips and 3 pins. Also, the Elemental blade is too short to go throug both the hypothetical skull piece and the supposed aeroblade piece hole. I think it's a new mould and LegendsOfNinjago has a point with that base.
-
Looks like it will be the old monkey mould, but in Dark bley
-
I'm honestly blown away by Whiparella... My goodness! Shut up and take my money! Btw, it looks like she has the Serpentine 'legs'. Actually, all of the female villains look great, and so many! And so badass! So now, most of us will buy these sets ' for the "plot" '
-
If this new set list is true, we would get at least 16 sets, that's exhaustive, again!
-
99% sure about that!
-
Holy pineapples! Can this really be true?! The set numbers seen to be consistent with the known ones, but... I'm regarding these with scepsis. They do sound epic, though! Also, 4 structure sets? And another dragon? Would be awesome!

Looks like a sort of wolf head to me (minus ears). But man...it looks soo great! Oversized flying base, junkjard-creation style, Mad Max, I think I'll love it. A few things that caught my eye: -(partly) human villains without red eyes?! Hurray! - Nadakhan has a orange skin, like the bigfig? - purple pirate captain hat - the pirate designs are absolutely gorgeous! - Elemental blade in gold - the individual pieces of Nadakhan look cool and useable, but together it's a bit of a colourful mess

Ageven's Graduation (from Petraea University)
Exetrius replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
Wow, that is quite a speech, excellent writing there! Funny how the call for action could apply to both the inhabitants and the real-life members of Khaliphlin! The floor technique comes out nicely, but I can't tell: are those tiles(? ,look like plates to me) loosely or tightly connected? I like the little podium and the scene as a whole. -
Even Sensei Wu got a new face this year! I hope Jay gets his eyepatch sooner or later this year.

True, but she is and stays a robot, so it's more or less believeable if we assume that a kind of virus turns her evil. Wu has all kinds of electrodes and stuff (so it seems) going inside his head, but *POOF* it's all gone! It's a different story. "Give me all your candy, MwuHAHAH!" -

Main villains or just bad guys? We've seen countless goofy baddies, but one of the worst bad guys, plotwise, would be Evil Wu in the rebooted season. Being transformed into a red-eyed, black-bearded evil cyborg, but once power got down, he seemed to instantly turn into the non-cyborg friendly sensei... Weird! Good thing: he was one of the very few villains that really was as badass as he looked! -
Agree, I've said this many times before, but can't emphasize this enough: smiling faces, please! Emmet got about 10 different expressions... In TWO WAVES! Having still the same expressions for our ninja is on the verge of ridiculessness! About the masks: I'm okay with that, but only for this upcoming wave. After it, I could see the black and coloured part being inversed or ninja colour + gold, it's a cool piece that is worth getting in other colours.

I wonder how the designers have dealt with the End portal. Both the portal blocks and the substance have cool/mysterieus detailing in the game, but the LEGO prints tend to be more simpified. A jungle treehouse in that price range will probably look great, Wither set sounds cool too. And yes, dissappointed about the abscence of chickens. And enchantment table. Dyed leather armour would be nice too...

Agree, great banner!

Beautiful! I like the wall techniques
