  1. Wow, beautiful base and a neat collection too!
  2. Oh that's great though, thank you!
  3. Yeah, but have you tried it upside down? It works with the old plumed visor.
  4. I expected absolutely zero from this theme (going towards negative after the first figurine pics ), but these sets look pretty solid! I quite like the castle and the ship. The designers did a great job.
  5. Yes, that's the one that I mean. I figured that I can do quite a few cool fig-mocs if the NK visors were to fit on that piece (I expect them not to fit, though). So, would you be so kind to test this if you can?
  6. Oh, you are right! I guess I wasn't paying much attention. Ah well, they will probably turn up in the sets eventually, so it's cool with me. Thanks for the review, I am most likely to pick this one up. Could you try if the visor attaches to a Samurai helmet (the Ninjago one)?
  7. What is this, the Rainbow saga? Nice build, the table is pretty cool.
  8. http://shop.lego.com/en-NL/NK-Playmat-853519?fromListing=listing This playmat is actually pretty cool and comes with the two of the 'standard' knights' heraldry shields!
  9. http://www.brickshop.nl/lego/lego-nexo-knights.html Intertoys has better shipping conditions but often, Brickshop is cheaper, especially when they usually do 10-15% pre-order discount.
  10. Yes, that's refreshing. Too bad thought that there are just too many colours. Earth green, brown and orange (in this context) are fine, but the red and light blue is just too much for me Do we have a clear picture of Nya's new ninja outfit, I'm curious what symbol she has?
  11. Wow wow... Wow! Hang on a sec?! What's going on here? Cameos, in the NK theme or hidden powers from shields released in other themes, perhaps. Anyway a lot of awesome shields
  12. Oh, it seems like her torso is exclusive! This may well be the coolest promotional pack ever Edit: Those legs!!! I want!
  13. The Juniors line has two Ninjago sets, both of them featuring a unique Venomari fig, they look gorgeous!
  14. Wow! RAINBOW MAGIC!!! Very neat how you did that! By the way, congratulations one competing in all tree catgories!
  15. Oh man, this could be great! It has been just too darn long since the Castle theme had a big bad guy castle. I hope it still has a real castle shape, as opposed to a gigantic lava-sauced Jestroland
  16. LEGO City is going places! Never noticed it until now, but City has a continuous subtheme with the most thrilling on-the-edge research they can come up with. Space*, Artic, Deep sea and now Volcanoes. The last big volcano sort of thing they did is this one: http://brickset.com/sets/8637-1/Volcano-Base I am really curious (assuming the rumor is true) wether it will be a large, tall facade, or a lower, closed cone. It probably has a small base camp too. I'm really excited about the City research subtheme and I wonder what's to come. I dare bet on a storm chaser vehicle and also a weather station on a mountain top (combined with telescope!) would be very nice. *underwhelming imo, it just lacked a 99.99€ space station
  17. Wow, this seems interesting! Definitely seems to be a filler wave, also a bit of Bionicle Stars there. So do you know the villains you just mentioned are in the sets, or are they from the overall wave description? Could you describe the overall vibe of the box art (jungle, city, cave, something like that)? Anyway, some thoughts about the spring 2016 sets: - For me, Misfortune's Keep is going to be the best set of this wave, not just because it's big and quite literally the flagship set. It has great figs, great piece assortment (I love NPU of the quintessential pirates parts) and an awesome overall design and features. So many great details, I want it! - The Serpentine in the Juniors sets are just amazing and better than their original counterparts! - Zane looks absolutely badass with in his new outfit and the dual katana holder, which is an exception to most of the others imo. - Dogshank looks weird, too many contrasting colours. - I'm really diggin the design of all other baddies. Nice touch is the fact that their legs are sometimes left-orange and sometimes right-orange, so I can make full orange and full dark green legs. - The Raid Zeppelin looks kind of plain. Also, it seems that there is one segment missing to make a full baloon, because where is that bley axle going...?
  18. You did a fair job on the most parts of this figure. I like for example the hands and the hair, the belt is a nice touch too. The torso around the shoulders looks a bit, erm, unfilled? I think the face may look better if you moved up the eyes by one plate.
  19. Viewed from the minifig design perspective, I completely disagree with that. I think they had the most badass designs of the whole bunch, with the oustanding, menacing facial tatoos. It's too bad that the human pirates in the Skybound sets don't have any cool (facial) markings, Bucko and Sqiffy in particular could have better, more unique faces.
  20. The second review: http://brickset.com/article/18029/Review-30371-Knight-s-Cycle Edit: darn, I was too slow ;)
  21. Among other things, these: Anime inspired Lego hair pieces by Exetrius, on Flickr In a rainbow of colours!
  22. So, you were sorting but in the end you had a build? I can relate! Great posing and that photography is really crisp and clear
  23. Shinobi army (with ranks!), led by a further corrupted Clouse... would be super awesome! I can see them do zombies, with Ninjago's abundance of undead beings , but I hope they then stay away from the cliche slow and dumb goofy type, ugh! Imo, BIG no for time-traveling; generates more plotholes than anything else! BIG yes for sorcerers though (LU Paradox style )! Dragon scales ninja armour... gimme! Something like this: http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/legouniverse/images/7/73/Numb_chuck.png/revision/latest?cb=20120406212808 Elite Samurai is something we're probably all waiting for. It's not that the current helmet and chestplate moulds are bad, though. They are certainly good enough for generic samurai, but the armour of the elite (the helmet in particular) has just much more decorations, colours and extra protective bulk compared to the lower classes. I wish TLG would make new moulds that are more detailed and more customizable with other pieces. Elemental samurai would be just perfect for providing those new moulds in various different colours and decoration, while 'keeping it Ninjago'. Again, LU gives a good example: http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/legouniverse/images/a/af/Samurai_Rank_3.png/revision/latest?cb=20131024174147 Yeah, the Four Golden Weapons are by far my favorites too. I think the Dragon Sword of Fire is the most beautiful sword mould TLG has ever produced (would still love to see that in other colours )! I still think it's too bad that the other weapons haven't got the awesome dragon decoration. I reckon that it would be pretty impossible for the Shurikens, but the fang piece in the Scythe of Quakes and the handle's in the Nunchucks of Lightning could have had that. So, I'd be all in for a reboot of those, plus new Golden weapons for Lloyd and the other Elemental masters.
  24. It has probably already been mentioned here like a dozen times, but I would absolutely love some LEGO Universe packs...
  25. Ah, that's good news, looking forward to them! Also, you took the time to actively ask for information, I believe you have done this more than once and I want to thank you for that
