Working on something with knights, pirates, ninja, construction workers and floating islands ;)

Bonjour Jason! Have fun on Eurobricks, and show us some of your creations of course!

Welcome to Eurobricks, Billywink! Enjoy your time in the Technic forum
-
Welcome to Eurobricks, Martin! Have a great time here! You might be right about that...
-
For the record: the game "LEGO Universe" is dead, thank you. I'd really like to see your mocs. I personally think the best way to go is a topic in the Action and Adventure theme forum.

Welcome back, Dan! (though technically I'M the newbie here ) Don't forget to show us some of your new gear and skills
-
Have a great time on Eurobricks, Shaun! Don't worry about your beginner skills, stick around for a little while and you will find yourself becoming a masterbuilder within no-time! A brick-creative family will help too. Anyway, enjoy yourelf here!

Welcome to Eurobricks Filip! Have a great time here

Hi George, have a great time on Eurobricks! A rather unusual combination to have both a Technic and fantasy System interest, make sure to mix those in a build someday (and show us of course!)
-
Hi Sebas, welcome to Eurobricks! Always great to see the Dutch community grow a little more. Enjoy the trains and pirate forum (and beyond )!
-
Warm welcome to Eurobricks Barc! I too am a Ninjago and Universe fan. See you in the Action and Adventure themes forum!

Simply brilliant!

The cheek guards could be just printing on the minifig head, but it's unlikely.

This is a nice build, the trap is quite cool! Also there is something I really like about this phrase: "... who came, saw and smiled. He had won, and he knew it." Looking forward to the next chapter

Oh, the foliage is as stunning as the first build, but suddenly I noticed something peculiarly round amongst it.... I spotted you, hooded man! Fantastic job on hiding him, I suppose first six commenters all haven't noticed him, because it is really worth mentionning (Yay for Windusky and me! ). Also, I see you've taken a suggestion of mine into account, the 1x1 tiles. I like it better.

Good point, I am hoping for a update too. The old one looks fine, but not among all the new printed-eyed animals. I come to think of it, the parrot is also pretty much the same mould as when it was first intoduced. So, about the Jay Dragon.... I... I think... I think I've fallen in love! It may turn out better than the Master Wu Dragon, if that is even possible!!! Someone stated that it is 'yet another remake'. How can you say that with such words, I mean, we've had MANY dragons, but in terms of building experience, Ninjago dragon design is better than ever before, this tops everything! The original Lightning Dragon was undeniably a beauty, though...

I don't see the problem with registering secondary characters, but certainly, one should not register every character that has a name. I think that it can get complicated when doing sigfig cameos in your build (of semi-importance). In which post will it be registered, for instance?

[BOOK] Lego Ideas Collection 2015 Costco Exclusive
Exetrius replied to kelceycoe's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Sorry, I don't have any information, but I really, REALLY want this! -
A great way of preventing the loss of lore over time in the hundereds of threads. Perhaps it should be just one post with all characters of a certain GoH member, containing indeed a photo and a small, summarized backstory for each character. Anyway, count me in for this brilliant idea!

Really? Please tell me more! Is there a thing to keep track of created characters and their backstories?

That was, what, a year ago? Those were the days...... Great, folks around here are making jokes again. By the way, I think it's cool that LEGO has invested a lot in the past years in designing many new projectile launcher parts. The spring-loaded shooter, three different stud shooters and the 1x4 disc launcher brick all work fine, better than the good (bad?) old flick fire missile. I am curious as to how that crossbow piece will perform shooting both studs and missiles! The release of the NK theme will probably mean that there will be no regular castle line for at least three years, which is quite sad. However, I think that this does not eliminate the possibility of getting regular castle-themed sets. A few years back, the Creator theme reinvented itself with introduction of minifigs and desireable new buildings. Some more innovation will keep this theme fresh. Therefore, why not put castle buildings in this line? I'm talking detailed, more serious, fully closeable, Creator standards, but a little up-marketed. A nice watchtower, a mill, a market scene, bakery, blacksmith, inn and ultimately a castle. Not all at once, two per wave max. How about it?

Holy guacamole! Wow!

First of all: "the other guy" has a name! Assuming "who shoots without thinking" refers to me, this is not true. My reaction to your post is perfectly valid. If you are not specific enough, your post gives indeed little to think about. Let me elaborate: Now you are being specific, which is great, you should have said this in you initial post. Also, I am certain that you misunderstood me; I wanted you to illustrate your opinion!

You know that this might generate some hype, right? Seriously man, you've been super busy with your cool drawings, detailed descriptions and most of all: answering a little hundred questions across multiple forums. (In fact, I didn't dare ask you for more drawings because of this) You have my earnest respect!

Yes, the Temple of Airjitzu is a real game-changer (though quality of waves in general also improved). Of course I understand your disappointment. Admittedly, when I first saw the prelims I was a little let down myself. I really wouldn't mind if at some point, the theme takes a turn towards more traditional fantasy era. The show enables more drastical changes in the theme. For example (what I would like to see ): the main villain succeeds in destroying all technology and fancy mobile fortresses. The heroes are depowered and need to start form scratch; back to basics; rebooted . So, they start building castles and towers and catapults, they rely on magic and their very basic knowledge of ancient machines. (Et voilà, the castle purists are back aboard ) Futher on, they have figured out how to build a steam engine and well.... Steampunk! (don't care that much, some folks here do ) So yeah, a lot of possibilities...
