Does this mean that Sonic will be revealed tomorrow?? That would be cool. I could see a Leonardo fun pack, that can change to all 4 ninja turtles (kind of like the Ghostbusters pack). Or a Aang/Korra fun pack. It would also be nice to get a Lego TMNT game in general...

It could be nice if there was some sort of hidden story, kind of like Minecraft. I dunno, maybe. The island is really boring to me. The biomes are just there to look pretty, and they're also pretty small. I'd love it if the areas were big, and had things around to make it look like that area besides the colors. For example, i'd like the spooky forest to have a pathway in between the spooky trees, like you'd see in real life. Right now it's just a cluster of trees. It would also be really cool if there were renders you could unlock for the game. Like realistic Lego, CGI fake Lego, and stuff like that.

Isn't it supposed to be a new story? Or do you mean it's innacurate to the show? What did the interviews say??

Big fig? Let me check... Oh my god. That's genius.

Perhaps I misworded that. Samurai aren't the kind to don hoods, especially ones that look like ninja hoods. With cloth fabric, wrap, with the belt tie and everything.

It was intended for Rezource, in his video he thought they were old characters and not new ones. Even if Cryptor's armor and face look better, I still like his older version a lot more. His torso is okay, but his plain legs are unacceptable! By the way, where are the minifigure hands on Lloyd's dragon?

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
gamejutzu replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Lego has this one CGI artstyle where they make the characters similar to the show, but not really. Like those Year of The Snakes trailers where a ninja fights a snake. Either way, it doesn't really look like a show image. His armor piece looks like plastic and the torso printing is too bright and thin.- 4,591 replies

The spelling and pronunciation of Mystake is finally revealed! Oh, by the way: All three look like new versions of old characters.

Review Review: 70595 Ultra Stealth Raider
gamejutzu replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The only summer set that looks kind of like a temple, is Airjitzu Battle Grounds, which Cole is not featured in. Also, remember when we were talking about how Lloyd needs an original outfit? __ Looking back, I realized the original USR looked like a monster XD This definitely looks more futuristic and not like something made on a workbench. I like the looks of this one better. However what I find interesting... Is the pilot of the air vehicle. Isn't Jay supposed to pilot it? After all, he's the closest thing to an air master anyway. He probably has more experience with flying vehicles as well. Cole's vehicle is looking kind of weird by itself, but what can you do? It looks better than the original after separation though. This set is the fig hotsptot of this wave, as Kai is exclusive to this set, as well as Cole in normal form, plus Zane's silver armor (i'd rather have his hair though), as well as Jay's hood, Good for anyone who wants just one set. -
Hmm... Even when the had the option to make the villager more Minecraft-y, (ex. rectangular arms, rectangular torso), they don't? Eh. I guess it must have stuck with them. The buildings look pretty faithful to what you'd see in Minecraft.

How is a new starter supposed to work? We get the original 3, plus Supergirl?

Cool However, samurai aren't the kind to don masks. I guess it makes sense that more colors is better for distinguishing, but maybe some other headgear could me worn instead, I feel like this doesn't stay very true to samurai.

I meant no one is talking about him here. But then again, he is overshadowed by Samukai anyway. If you do plan on upgrading him, he could more like a British pirate or something

Heh, Cole and Harry potter could have a talk about their scars as an interaction thing. Info's kinda slow lately. Maybe more about the Sonic pack will be revealed at the 25th anniversary place talk thing. It's sometime in July, so can't be long.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

I suppose. I guess I was focusing more on the aesthetic differences. It may be an easy thing to provide an explanation, but others won't take it that well. Whether the transition makes sense or not, that doesn't mean people will like it. Not saying I don't. But it'd need to actually work well.- 4,591 replies

LEGO Ninjago - Kai´s Nightmare II The Tivoli
gamejutzu replied to NevertooOld's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
It's good and all... But again, do you follow the TV show? I feel like Kai hallucinating from Venomari poison or him drowning would be good material to cover. -
Lol no love for Pythor This would fit perfectly in Samurago: Masters of Bushojutsu ... Anyways, shouldn't Samukai have the fire crest instead of the lightning one? I believe he is the fire general/ruler.

Cole's alternate expression matches the show perfectly. Jay's alt. does too, but not as much. I'm glad Cole's scar looks more than a Harry Potter ripoff. Actually, I don't know what it looks like. Kai's face is in serious need of an alternate. An alternate that still keeps the scar though. This set is looking like the ideal set to grab in the wave, if you had to choose one. But I'd rather pick up the Tumbler, since i'm not a person who wants to collect every variant, and also because I always wanted a nindroid army and Zane's hair. So i'll get that first. I also missed out on Rebooted Zane, so it'd be nice to have a white bandana as well.

Eh, to me, it's just a normal Lego game, but with a mediocre building system. In order for this game to be special, or unique, there should really be things added to the game to make it more special and unique than it is now. I guess it's cool that the devs added lighting to the game, but it honestly needs more than that if it wants to attract the attention of others. I'm not saying to make Lego Worlds the net Lego Universe (although I among several others wouldn't be complaining ), i'd just like there to be things in this game you wouldn't find in others. To not be just another Lego game. Maybe a first person option? A lot of people are asking for that. Full LDD support? That would be cool. It could also be more than a sandbox. Wouldn't just chilling on an island get boring after a while? I dunno. I mean, you don't even have a real reason for being there. I dunno. I'm not an expert. But that's just my theory on why there isn't much discussion on this game. It just isn't... Enough.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
gamejutzu replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I know. In fact I don't even know why I put it there... Well, the thing is, I really don't know how the story would bend itself so that Lego now exists. And even if LEGO does exist in the show, the ToC would just contribute to making what's built look nice and detailed. The LEGO Movie had fight scenes, but it was pretty much one person taking down several people. How would a one-on-one fight look like? Would it look silly, well choreographed, or like something you'd see in the show previously? Also, i'm pretty sure characters in TLM acknowledged the existence of Lego. Wyldstyle refers to "The Lego worlds", as different themes. And to add, they are seen holding bricks and adding them to others, as if they are trying to build something. Even if they don't call it Lego, they are aware that there are bricks lying around, and can use them to build things.- 4,591 replies

I suppose. However, the book's Phantom Ninja was described as being garbed in grey, he could even look similar to the second Phantom Ninja.

Ninjago TV Show: Watchable or poison for grownups?
gamejutzu replied to murphy_slaw's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Of course! It's surprisingly mature for a show with based on Lego. It's even mature early on. There are themes like "death" and "losing a friend", you don't normally see in a poisonous show. You may not like the first episodes, but that doesn't mean they're bad. Personally the first (/second) season previously mentioned is my favorite one. Point is, yes, adults will find the show to be good, but don't let what you first see of the show define your entire perception of it. -
Its a little strange how everyone considers the graphic novel to be the first appearance of the phantom ninja. Did everyone here get into Ninjago in 2014?? Didn't he first appear in Cole: Ninja of Earth? Y'know, where Cole tricked all of the ninja, and the phantom ninja tricked Cole? Hmm... You know what's interesting? The phantom ninja first appeared in a book about Cole. And then Cole was the spotlight character in a book about the phantom ninja. It's kind of funny. Also, aren't the comics non-canon? I always assumed that the original books (___ ninja of __) may as well be what happened inbetween the first episodes, as it looks like it would have fit right in with the show at the time. Oh well, at this rate, either there are two phantom ninja, or LEGO is ignoring the first one...

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
gamejutzu replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Youre right... But do you expect the TV show to go on completely normally as if the movie didn't happen? The movie is going to change what happens in the show. More proof for this is how everything seems to be tidying up With the new season. As if it's satisfied with itself. A lot of people here agree with this. This isn't the final season of Ninjago, this is just the last season of the show before a change happens as a result of the movie. This change may just be movie lore and characters being carried over to the show, or may even be a solid reboot. People have accepted the fact that change is coming, but are worried what the change could actually be, myself included. To be honest, I may actually be down for Lego visuals, not only if they give a good reason for it, but also if the artstyle doesn't make the show silly (for example, characters flailing their arms around instead of an actual choreographed fight scene. I'd also like the Lego to just be there, without anything actually being built from it, or people acknowledging that it is Lego. The cool thing about Ninjago is how the ninja solve problems. Could you imagine how strange it would be if the ninja used Lego to defeat The Great Devourer? Or the Overlord? Boinicle never used Lego either. Just pointing that out. No real corelation here. Just putting that out there.- 4,591 replies

Amazing!! However, has LEGO ever passed a set this large?? This may even be bigger than the Death Star! Full support though. Fingers crossed this gets passed.- 64 replies
