  1. I dunno. A lot of people think Ninjago is childish already, and then they see it turn into all Lego? That'd make them not even consider checking out the show. Besides, Ninjago was never Lego, even since it's 2010 promo. It would be a bit unsettling to see a huge change like that with 0 explanation... Only real way to provide one would be to reboot or end Ninjago and have a new series. However, I do admit, I could fall in love with the movie's visual and animation style and actually be happy if Ninjago's visuals were replaced with that. However, it would need to be fitting to the show, not make it sillier (like with it's fights... I wouldn't want to see a fish fly out of nowhere or have someone slip comedically or something during an intense moment. Or something else classic Lego would do...).
  2. It's a tall order asking for a huge set to be compatible with another, especially since the temple always stands on its own, even in the new poster. Not gonna lie though, kinda let down by how the central build isn't a taller temple, and that there is no "floor". However, for an abandoned "ghost town", it does a good job of portraying worn down buildings and bland paint jobs. I'm a little curious a to how the minions are statues... They have a fabric going on as well as a belt, plus they can't really move their heads very well... Unless they're possessed statues, which would be more reasonable. Also liking the aeroblade return. And hold on! Is that what I think it is on the minions? Is that... Red I see on them? Very interesting, combined with their non transparent green faces. And those figs. Lloyd lacks detail from the angle I'm looking at, but Nya's looks amazing. She's the only airjitzu figure to be wearing a gi and not just one color with element effects everywhere. But then again, this could be because if she was only red or only blue, she'd be a bit of a rip off of Kai or Jay. Also like how she has her own Fusakan symbol now for a total of 3 symbols for one character. And as for the battle pack, I have no qualms about Nya's suit. As for zane though? I see what they did, by giving him a battle damaged tournament gi to make him unique, but really dont know why he has the 2012 mask... It just doesn't look right. Would have preferred the bandana or the 2011 mask. Also would have preferred the full, intact tournament outfit, as this kinda feels similar to the Rebooted variant. And I've also recognized those pirates from the show... A first for LEGO, putting minions in a set after they appeared in a show... Bravo LEGO.
  3. The Hageman Twitter said that this is only the beginning (dot dot dot) Which means the TV show would likely incorporate the movie characters over, if the movie characters are 6 new people. Since this is Ninjago's final season before a change, maybe after this season the originals will settle down and take apprentices? It could be a good tie in to link the show and movie, like Ratchet and Clank (..... Ugh.) What I'm more worried about is two things: - the voice actors for the originals will be all celebs and they'll sound unfitting and just the fact that they're not the originals... I dunno... - the visual appearance if the show will change, turning Ninjago into all Lego. Which in turn will ward off a good percentage of people who would have watched the show otherwise...
  4. Does this mean we could see the original Luke, and even the classic Darth Vader helmet to return? And honestly, even thought there is no such thing as a 2.0, what else are we supposed to call it? Its the only thing we can say that could work...
  5. Just figured out Omega has his own wiki..... All this time I thought the robot in Sonic X was Omega, thus countering the argument that Omega wants blood for his new paint job or whatever. But I think the one in X was actually Gamma now that I looked closely... Oh well, Omega's still a pretty cool guy anyway.
  6. I'm pretty sure she does know though. Due to her doing it twice in unprovable places, i'd assume she does know, but maybe she just doesn't want to use it (maybe as a personal challenge). Either way, this is likely the last season of the TV show before a major change happens. Maybe her canon spinjitzu color will finally be revealed.
  7. I dunno about Dr eggman and Knuckles... Looking at this from a gameplay perspective, Knuckles is just Cole without spinjitzu or a weapon (besides the gloves). His only advantage would be his detection, tracker, and glide. Eggman could actually have a lot of abilities, like drone, electrical, tech, etc. but I feel like he'd be more of a comedic character, which there aren't much of in the game (only ones are Shaggy and Scooby). Tails and Shadow could be perfect though, they're both super unique, and we'd have a game where Tails can actually have sustained flight. Metal Sonic has basically the same powers as regular Sonic (besides the wind of course), so he'd be a clone of sorts. Lol We should get a buildable Omega to come with the normal Omega XD
  8. Eh, I normally don't like games where you just click to move around and have no real control over things you do, and stuff like that. So I wouldn't really play a game like this... If only LEGO could gather themselves up and make an LU sequel or remake, that would be awesome. They could even make a console version with updates to it. _ Also, does anyone actually play the LU emulator? I want to try it out, but I don't think that many people really use it. Is this true? And if no one's there, can you still play it normally?
  9. Aww. It's really too bad that Nya has a blue tornado now, I thought the crimson and gold one was unique. This book further proves my theory, that Ninjago and The Dark Island represent Yang and Yin, and close the circle may mean putting the two halves together.
  10. I'm also really suspecting a team pack, or more than one Sonic character. If it was a team pack, and a level pack, that would be crazy expensive. I'm hoping for a Shadow fun pack though. Besides, people (including me ) like him more than Tails.
  11. Reading this thread really makes me feel weird. "I heard from my source guy _______" "A reliable source said ________" "I know for a fact that _______" I mean, I know you guys are trying to help, but... There's so much low-key... _ I'm planning on getting the Sonic pack, but I don't own LD. Is it worth it, even if it turns out to be a level pack?
  12. I doubt it, as everyone knows who Yang is. Besides, TFSM is shown with a braided ponytail and Wu's beard. I still think it's more like joining the two halves of Ninjago.
  13. Ah, I didn't see the year the last post was made in. See, someone in the TV show forum linked this, so I went to check it out. I assumed some have already replied to it. Oh well, if anyone's still listening, Four Weapons or Ignacia in general would still be a pretty neat idea for a D2C (besides Borg Tower, of course).
  14. Borg Tower was never in any set list. However, it is a very popular pick for the next D2C.
  15. *Yin I was thinking that closing the circle, meant joining the Dark Island (yin) and Ninjago (Yang). Would be interesting.
  16. Tbh, 4 weapons looks more like the red building instead of the tan one. Still pretty cool, just that I didn't recognize it as 4 Weapons until you mentioned it.
  17. Look at the moon. Awfully familiar, right? The yin and Yang symbol. Looks like we know our main antagonist. Also, the two continents of Ninjago are the yin and yang symbols as well. Could close the circle, mean that Yang wants good and evil to be together?
  18. Can someone explain what a connectable actually is? Nowhere on these pages has any info regarding them. Are they mini-builds of areas? Actual sets?
  19. This is why I was so disappointed with Cole's dragon. When I heard this set name, I looked up his dragon again and got so hyped. And then it was a mini... People say what they please about the others, but Cole's dragon is the most unique of the bunch. Rocky was the most unique out of the originals too.
  20. Oh, I guess it's a good grab for 40, but I can't wrap my mind around $60... The set is really cool, and I regret not getting that much Chima... Oh well, guess i'll wait until the next anthromorphic theme *ahem* *Sonic* *cough*
  21. Wait... I've scanned the site, still don't know what a "connectable" actually is. How can you connect an entire set to the toypad? Or is it a minibuild? I suppose so, but if they're gonna add other things, they'll have to be really careful on what they choose, otherwise fans will rage. I guess It can work like this: - Grass/field area: Green Hill - Sea area/underwater: Seaside Hill/Ocean Temple/Hydrocity - Above/under the world locations: Space Colony/Death Egg/Egg Carrier - City area: Casino Night Zone or Crisis City. (i'd prefer Casino Night, since it's more colorful, and it can have dynamic weather implemented to make it night). But, I dunno. All we do however, is that Green Hill would be included.
  22. $60?? For this? Actually, I can see why it would be maybe $50 or $45, but this for an original price of $60 seems pretty overpriced, even for LEGO. Are you saying ^ that ^ is worth this? I dunno. Bit really, wasn't it kind of, odd, how all the lions and other furred creatures had the exact same heads? If LEGO ever brings back the same head style, I hope they add new "hair"styles.
  23. I know that. I mean that since Cole's energy dragon won't be appearing anytime soon, maybe with enough fan-demand it can be done. (or someone can MOC it... ) I actually like the dragon's set appearances, much more than they appear in the show, I wish that they'd look more similar to that. What I love about them is that they all have completely unique heads, and clearly distinct builds for legs, wings, etc. They also have ornamental accessories that look very nice on them, and make them feel classy. Like how Wisp has barrels and spears on him, or how the titanium dragon has some wooden straw-basket things on the sides of it. Jay's elemental dragon has bags attached to it as well. They all have nice carriages too. And if you compare the energy dragons, only Zane's is even half-accurate to the show's. Jay's energy dragon is completely plain, not to mention that it literally looks absolutely nothing like it's set counterpart. It's head is way different, the tail is different, and yet again, absolutely no detail except the lightning on it. The original dragons were better portrayed in the show. I also think his NRG dragon's head is super generic in the show compared to the set version. But Cole's dragon however, looks kinda similar to the original, but it looks cooler (to me) It would be cool if they designed the dragon to have these rocky chinks on it's skin that can be adjusted, with neon green bricks underneath them. A set or MOC of Karlof's dragon would be really neat as well, since it's silver and it has a really nice head design.
  24. I wouldn't go thaat far. I interpreted the video as a summary of Star Wars in general. And besides, there weren't any real narration inaccuracies, that more or less sums up the general Star Wars story. And besides, the title tells you that this will be a speedy summary, so of course some things will be skipped over. That video described two trilogies, and the Ninjago video summed up a season. I guess I can see where you're getting at with that, but I wouldn't say the link between the two makes them carbon copies or anything. You do have a point though, with the visual changes, but compared to the visual innacuracies Star Wars made versus Ninjago, Ninjago isn't the same. "Ninjago City" is a village with the Airjitzu Temple filling in as the random building Garmadon Killed the Devourer on. The ninja aren't in proper uniform, Lloyd and Nya aren't there, etc. Plus, the kid summarizing is talking fast, it's kinda hard for a stream of words like that to be recorded in one take. I think there was a script. (that wasn't written by him... ??)
