So it's just a picture shown specifically for the article?

What?? Where's that from? Also, that monastery looks so cool. I get that the show's Monastery is going for a bit of simplicity, but I honestly would not complain if the show had something like this.

Lego Nexo Knights TV Series Discussion
gamejutzu replied to DuckBricks's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I'll just save up a bunch of episodes, then watch it all. I'm wondering, does the second season have anything new, or is it just a continuation or based off the summer sets? -
What would it cost to gather up a full minifigure (including things like armor and masks too)?

Yeah I know that, that's why I used supposed and put Dragon Wrought in quotations. But I feel like a blacksmith (likely THE blacksmith) and a dragon? It's a little strange to me. Unless the Blacksmith transforms into the dragon of course, but the person talking about it wrote as if they were two separate things. Because of this, I wonder if the set could have been split up, and now i'm wondering whether we'll even see Kai's mother in a set. -
But you'd have to buy each piece. Wouldn't it be easier to go somewhere and get the full minifigure for like $5? But then again I don't know how to navigate B&P, so I may be wrong.

It's also called Possessed Lloyd, it's easier to type. I also somewhat regret not getting any Possession set besides the Airjitzu Temple. Morro was a really neat looking figure, I would have been happy with either version (though I do prefer the physical form).

I wonder if the sets will bundle Kai and Nya, or split them up. Maybe another set would have Nya and her mother, But I dunno what they'd be doing, since the supposed "Dragon Wrought" set already has a blacksmith area as well as a dragon... It could have possibly been split into dragon and blacksmith sets, but they may have thought there were enough sets in the waves as it is. -
Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
gamejutzu replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I meant they may do something more like mention or joke about something that happened in the series, and people would get confused. But I do get that they won't just pull something that only people who read would know, maybe something on a smaller scale.- 4,591 replies

I wonder if you can watch DoTD without being confused... It would be strange to include a comic tie-in as an answer to something the characters mention but don't explain.- 4,591 replies

LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion

Well they said the dragon was colorful, so it's probably a fusion Between Kai (or his father), and someone else. It's interesting to know that some names here and there are not the same as the sets. But that's not big news. Also, every outfit shows masks, even the Rebooted outfit. it may be that these new 2017 suits have a different mask piece and design than the normal "two colors, black and ___" that we've been seeing for a while. -

It must be the "mastery" or "all missions complete" sort of thing. Maybe they're saving that for when Wu-CRU ends. -
The animation looks to be in a Kung Fu panda-ish style. Which isn't bad, I guess. But if fights have that sort of animation, it will look very liquid. Which is very stereotypical for a ton of animated movies we see. I personally hope fights and high-action segments are animated differently.

Maybe the bath robe (or the bat-robe) we saw in the Lego Batman movie will be a real Lego piece. -
Ronin is... Well, a ronin. Do you also like Nya, who's a samurai as well? I bet you'll love the Hands of Time wave, the enemies are apparently corrupted samurai.

That may be the incorrect term, but the description for those outfits are actually the most accurate out of all of them. The entire ToE season was about fear. The only reason the ninja have elemental dragons is because they completely suppressed their feelings of fear and hopelessness. ___ Also, do those suits look a little weird to anyone? It looks... Almost worn out, or put together in a hurry or with a lack of materials they previously had access to. I mean, look at Zane. His little radar thing is attached by 3 cords. You'd think he'd tuck in a fragile mechanism like that... Come to think of it, how would the show handle that part of Zane's outfit? Would they animate the spinning radar? Or leave it there as a print and pretend it doesn't exist? And the belts... The belts have cuts or rips in them, like they're at half their breaking point. Obviously the outfits are like that from the start because of that one leak (unless the show actually wears down the outfits as the season/special goes by), but I still think that's strange. However, this does not seem to be the case for all the suits, as a few are in good condition, like Lloyd's. Actually... No. Come to think of it, every outfit has an imperfection somewhere. Except Cole's. -

I was just gonna post that XD But MAN, those suits look WICKED! SO much better than the DOTD outfits! I had my doubts when I saw that prototype leak, especially Jay's. Now I realize how wrong I was! Cole's suit is by far the best, they took Skylor's waist armor to the next level XD, but THAT ROPE PRINT! it's such a cool print! It goes all the way to the legs! AND he has double leg printing, I NEED that figure :wub_drool: I LOVE how LEGO stuck to the simple design choice of Cole using the original ropes since 2014, and now look how far it's come, it's a distinguishing feature now. Next preferred to me is Jay's, as that giant circle in the leaks makes sense now, it's a giant chestplate. And it looks really ancient and unique. I like how the chestplate sort of continues down to the legs as well. And I really like his belt print too. Hopefully they come in the same set, but Cole is definitely a priority. I hate to say this, but for the main character of this season, it looks like Kai has the least interesting suit in this line up... On the bright side, Nya, the other main character, has an amazing suit despite sharing some similarities. *EDIT* I change my mind, Nya's suit takes priority over Jay... It's so layered with it's leg print, the details on that... *EDIT EDIT* Lloyd takes priority over Jay XD that outfit looks very similar to Erraday's rendition of him. -
A mini-doll rant by a mini-doll fan
gamejutzu replied to Soupperson1's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well I personally think the crisis falls for people that are 5-8 or haven't reached 5th and 4th grade (end of elementary/primary school). This is the time when they are most active with "boy" things and "girl" things before they are introduced to mixed themes and begin to have a better tolerance for them. Granted it's the industry that makes kids like this, but i'm just saying what I observed. Kids have the choice to transition to Lego City when they are old enough, which as someone said, has a healthy number of both genders. And Lego City offers social jobs, like doctors and airport employees. Other than this theme, things aren't looking very balanced. Also, the minidoll sets generally lack characters. Some can complain that mostly females are included in these sets, but I think it's worse that there isn't a healthy number of minidolls in the sets anyway. -
The movie will most likely have completely brand new suits. Though in the show, they do wear the DX suits from time to time. Also, Lloyd never had a DX suit. It was never said that he had one in the sets or in the show, until it randomly came up in the 5004076 Minifigure Cube.
-
If you say so. The show explains the sets, that's why I thought you'd be interested. But that's alright. Would you be interested in seeing the Ninjago movie when it comes out? It will also explain the characters and locations.

I imagine the ninja won't be getting vehicles next wave, except maybe a little glider or mech. It would be strange to have more vehicles for HoT, since this wave is much more vehicle-y than most other waves we've seen. More next time would be overwhelming. I guess the fresh air for next wave are the enemy vehicles and maybe the dragon. Especially since pretty much all the vehicles were for the ninja, as Day of The Departed is basically the real Ninjago anniversary.

I can really only see one or two "normal" locations being sets. Maybe a school, and maybe a highway chase or city run or something like that. It would be pretty boring to see several house or city areas. I imagine there will be a few fantasy locations. -

Pretty much. My life would basically be complete if that happened, especially if it was an action or Adventurers theme. What i'd like to reboot into this sort of thing, is either Exo-Force (since I doubt there was really a grounded, established universe anyway), or even better, Adventurers. We could even have Thunder as an old guy with a cane and everything. I also agree that it really seemed like the minidoll franchises seem to split off from Lego as it's own thing, it's a stark contrast from other themes in my opinion. But besides this, I really do have hopes in minidolls. Imagine when they make figurines of licensed franchises, like anime and... Mcdonald?? (He's perfect for a minidoll ) But yeah, I feel like they really need to step up their game with minidolls, right now it's really limited. -
Custom Friends Minidoll: Miku Hatsune!
gamejutzu replied to Modulex Guy's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
This is really cool! I wouldn't play her games or listen to a lot of her music (I did like Miku though, which is the first one I saw), but I think she's nice. Quite alright really. And what i'd give to see a (legit) crossover with Sonic, his dance moves and her music... An amazing duo As for the figure itself, I do agree with what the person above said, where the hair piece isn't really the best one, but you did do all that work... And besides that little detail, it's still a nice custom.- 5 replies
