  1. What a great looking build! That it can switch to crab steering is VERY cool.
  2. This one I really enjoyed doing and especially liked how it turned out.
  3. Nice car! It looks like it's part Batmobile, part Speed Racer Mach 5. The white tires are a nice touch.
  4. Except for some Octan logos that were added to it, this one was used in the movie without any modifications to the original set.
  5. Hi Borex--Thanks for the comment! There's more to come... Tijn--I like what you're doing, dividing up parts of the Green Grocer like that. I like that you're using the back of the Fire Brigade. The shop on the corner looks like an ice cream shop. Is it?
  6. Hi Tijn--Thanks for the comment! Getting angles in LDD can be difficult, can't it? If it helps, here is the frame that I put together when building the jumbo Green Grocer. Instead of calculating the angles on paper, I let the bricks do the work for me. Using the hinge tool and a little trial and error, I built this frame and then moved the various walls onto it. It was still a bit tricky at times, but I think it worked better than trying to hinge entire walls of the building. This should provide the angles you're looking for: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Xon67/Movie/movie_green_grocer_frame.lxf I originally talked about this on page 4 of this topic. There's an image there showing some of the wall pieces in progress. Let me know if this helps. I'd be interested in seeing your build when it's done!
  7. Something a little smaller--and they've been known to dance:

Great job capturing this architecture style! Fantastic level of detail all over.
  9. Great design! I really like the brick-built boom. (Hah, say that 5 times fast... :-) )
  10. Back to the construction site: I have a few more to do here before moving on to another area.
  11. Very clever! And the possibilities are endless; Friends police, Elves police, Disney Princess police, Belville police, Angry Birds police, Sponge Bob police...
  12. Look at that! It even has the same number of windows going up the tower. Thanks for sharing!
  13. Dakar A--Here ya go! Let me know if you have any questions or need any other views.
  14. Dakar A--At this point I'm only posting files for a few of these. The ones that I have are on the first page of this topic. If you'd like, I could post a few more images of the gas station for reference, Just let me know.
  15. This truck is based off one with the LEGO logo on it that delivers LEGO sets. It was also used as the basis for a Toys R Us truck set in blue.
  16. Jersey Brick Guy--Everything in this topic is built with LDD and rendered with Bluerender. The skyscrapers are at minifig scale--those are rows of 1x4x6 windows (twenty per side) alternating with rows of 1x6x5 panels. That would give those minifigs plenty of headroom in there.
  17. Okay Jersey Brick Guy--You got me thinking about the skyscrapers, so I built the first one. This one appeared with several different color combinations (I haven't shown them all here) and 3 different rooftops.
  18. Now THAT's a hot rod with a unique look! Very nice!
  19. Lego Dino 500--Flikr user Imagine Rigney has done a great job building one: I'm going to build my own one of these days. Technically, I already started on it when I did my Master Builder Christmas tree.
  20. What's this? A construction vehicle that's not yellow? How weird... This set cannot actually be built in LDD according to the official instructions. LDD says there's a collision between a pair of brackets, a pair of 1 x 6 plates, and a gearbox that's sandwiched in between them. I solved the issue by using smaller brackets. The folks on The LEGO Movie solved it by simply omitting the gearbox entirely.
  21. You included a lot of great details, including the ground cover, stonework, front door, chandelier, and the stream. When's the house warming party?
  22. What a great MOC! That's a really interesting choice of a subject to recreate--and that tower is HUGE! I'd like to see the rest of Pearl Harbor, too. :-) Well done!
