  1. Yeah, the wiki has that image, I'd link to it but I'm on a phone right now so thatd be a pain. It's not really the accurate version. Fett blew up his jetpack to get off the tentacled wall, then fired concussive grenades to blast his way out. Instead of a triumphant exit as displayed, he crawled out half naked as he had removed most of his acid covered, cracked armor. I guess the mods can do what they want with this book exerpt from A Barve Like That. I don't want to be a killjoy though! Do the scene as you see fit, the EU is pretty much personal interpretation as it is, there's multiple versions of everything since there's no definitive movie scene to show what really happened.
  2. That scene never happened. Boba died in ROTJ, and only because of massive fan backlash has Lucas accepted the storyline of Boba escaping the pit. It has never been shown on screen, even though he contemplated having it in the Special Edition version of ROTJ. Thankfully he didn't, as the scene would be unnecessary and ruin the pacing of the film. Looking good so far; I like the use of the flamethrower. Should the jetpack still be there though? I'm pretty sure it was blown up to begin the escape from the pit.
  3. Did you get a picture or video of you with her? As for collector's value, some people use that as a Certificate of Authenticity.
  4. It's funny when people list prices next to their wishlists, as if prices haven't been incredibly high for years and going up every year.
  5. How come no one is suggesting a Rebel transport (GR-75) with the Hoth set? That's a ship that will likely never be made otherwise. I'd rather have the set be expensive and include this.
  6. Yes, but after the set releases the poster (which could have been somewhat classic) is now incredibly dated. Just my opinion though.
  7. Yeah, that's pretty obvious. I just hope it doesn't actually ship with that image otherwise it dates the poster considerably. The image is already all over the web, just put the actual image on the poster.
  8. That is quite the epic figure skating routine they have going there! Thanks for these reviews CopMike. For someone who won't be going to LegoLand these are very appreciated.
  9. Yep. They should remove Cloud City, the 4-pack of TIE's, and one of the Tantive IV's...preferably the new one but I can understand if they use the poster to promote the one still on shelves. Replace with X-Wing, Interceptor, and Yoda.
  10. If the poster has a shadowed Executor saying you can find it on Lego.com, that would be EXTREMELY LAME and ruin the poster entirely. Also, I can't believe they left the X-Wing out. Put ALL the UCS sets on there and only then include others to fill space.
  11. They are, if you want the full level of detail inside it.
  12. There's always something else to ruin your pocketbook on. Yeah, I sort of agree that Dash is basically a Han clone, but the overall story was very good. So good, in fact, that Lucas snuck the Outrider into the Special Edition of A New Hope. It's an awesome ship, even if it's similar to the Falcon.
  13. The minifigures are the only reason to buy this set; it's overpriced and the ships must have been designed by a preschool class. Luckily the minifigures they chose are so common(who needs yet another Chewbacca?), so pointless(who even wants a Nute Gunray?), or so stupid(Santa Yoda? Really?) that I'm not even remotely tempted to buy this.
  14. Are we really still talking about a Celebration Chewbacca? He didn't get a medal in the film, so it would only be confusing. It'd be even more confusing that TLG would do a new mold for an event that wasn't on screen. Why not use a brand new mold for a character we don't have that was in the film? I can name plenty.
  15. I believe the Falcon hid on the back of The Avenger. Because they still have a Slave I to try and sell.
  16. It will be Piett, Ozzel, or a generic figure. No chance of Tarkin or Veers, they were only brought up to prove that TLG puts non-generic Imperial Officers in sets.
  17. I doubt TLG would pass up the profitable chance to market a new fig. It's not like a Piett fig would cost any money...if they made a Veers fig then anythings possible.
  18. There should be some alt/title labels on the images(for hovering) so people know what they're for.
  19. To who are they iconic though? The target buyer (8-12) won't know who they are. Are you really that surprised? I like EU sets but they just don't sell well, at all. Even The Outrider which made it into the Special Edition of Episode IV won't likely become a set ever.
  20. Trust me, unless you're displaying it to AFOL's, no ones going to care about the level of detail in it. They will find it awesome regardless.
  21. It's an incredible display model because people like to look at all the different scenes in it. I'd suggest a rotating stand for it though.
  22. Dammit, now I have to buy this as a part pack!
  23. The Star Destroyers in ESB are the Tyrant, Accuser, Avenger, and Stalker. The model itself might have been in there but it was likely used as the Tyrant instead since it's the only Imperial I-class Star Destroyer shown in ESB. The other three are the new, more detailed model they built for ESB. theforce.net is describing the model itself and not the name given to the ship in the movie. Otherwise there would be three Avenger's running around. A good ship scale site: http://www.merzo.net/
  24. Even though he was dead by the time the bridge scene happened, there's a slight chance the officer could be Ozzel.
  25. Most people shop at bricklink.com for sets.
