When do the UCS sets normally hit the market? I think the interior of the Executor is the last picture we need for this year.

I imagine the sets will be mostly Episode 1 and more CW for the winter. If the rerelease does well, expect a lot more Episode 2 sets for next summer and winter.

I normally don't jump in to repeat what others said, but this is one of the best MOCs I've ever seen. Perfect detail both inside and out, and great photography to boot. Also, you got linked by gizmodo! Of course, they ruined it by calling it a sandwalker. Sigh...

Yes, if you bring price into it then Endor is best. I bought two Endor sets, it was a great set. All I'm saying is if you showed a kid both sets and told him to pick one to play with, DS would win almost all the time. These comparison pics make me feel better about the new Falcon. Not relieved, but I do feel better about it.

Can you upload some pictures and comments about the set? We still don't have a review...

Everyone says the Endor set is the only good playset...did everyone here already forget about the Death Star? It's the king of playsets.

I'm pretty sure he got all but 1 or 2 from BL.

Let me show you how a simple mod helps save this set. Note, this does need 7666 for a good base. Other Hoth sets would help. Put the set in a L shape, it's almost there in the set picture. This is represented above in Red with a gray/black checkerbox border. Move the control panel out of the med bay as well as the control panel from 7666 into the blue box as a dedicated control room, you will need to plate the floor. Move the guns out of the med bay and over to the tauntaun stable. The orange area is now a dedicated ship bay for a snowspeeder and crane from 7666. Plate the floor and put some clear pieces down as runway lights. The bay can expand downwards if you want an X-wing in there as well. I put a wall on the outside and one on the inside to make the med bay a dedicated room. The wall from 7666 creates a huge door to complete the set. All the other hot turrets can be thrown outside in the yellow box. A simple mod makes this set a lot better, people need to stop freaking out and remember that LEGO's are customizable, that's why they're awesome.

See the two doorways with the ridiculously long icicles? Looks like you can pull the pin out and/or turn the pin that is nearby them, dropping/hitting the icicles on people. It's a pretty piss-poor feature, but whatever.

There are many things to complain about, but is lack of Hoth Rebel troopers really one of them? Go get a battlepack!

The description says there's a crane...where is it? Unless the catwalk is actually a crane? That would explain the box under it...

Medbay looks great! I'm not sure what the weapons area is supposed to be though? This will need some modding for sure... Limited edition, sigh.

There will be a new one in two years to time with the eventual release of Episode III in 3D. Not guaranteeing it but it's the best chance for one.

Nobody's mad...the majority of us are pretty hardcore fans and just don't want to get our hopes up. Rumors are fine if you state how you got the information to confirm you aren't messing with us.

I'd keep quiet unless you directly know the reliable source and/or seen pictures yourself. We've had a lot of rumors go unfulfilled.

M-3P0 is an EU character. It will never happen.

Great figs. Tree design is lacking but uses nice parts. Speeder is rubbish IF you have Battle of Endor. I'll get this when it comes out, and possibly another one when it goes on sale before it's discontinued.

TLG has already said that can't happen due to plastic quality. Just the OT alone has at least 50 characters we don't have yet.

It's really good, as usual from AC. I actually like the tiled look, people seem to forget that sand is, by all appearances, a smooth surface. It's better this way than with studs for sure.

There's literally zero connection between Lobot and the Executor. It was clearly a joke as he said the most ridiculous thing he could think of (even though I'd probably buy it haha). Still hoping for that Cloud City playset someday!

Needa took a shuttle over to the Executor to tell Vader in person. It could still be Piett though, or Ozzel, or just a generic fig. Hopefully a named fig though. Edit: Read that wrong...yes, Needa didn't come over until after the bounty hunters got briefed. I guess well see who TLG picks, looking forward to it.
