  1. I would abstain from betting as we need to refine rules first. On the other hand i wont say no to a fair share of others betting gains
  2. I always like it when pirate trash-talk turn into duels!!! muhahahaha! Off to read the rules and "force" someone to be my judge
  3. I guess. I will make a fine example of you (and others to see and understand dueling rules as well) Please do create a new topic at your leisure.
  4. Omg, i am doomed! Epee? I will use whatever Conquistador minifigure is carrying then! (I would call it a rapier but i am not sure). Make sure you start a new DUEL thread then and our relevant posts moved there dear moderators so that we leave Corries space to breathe!
  5. Then i accept! But you must give me 3-4 days to prepare myself (insert read Duel rules)!! Rapiers or cutlasses?
  6. Soz for asking this but have i submitted both my FB through webform, cause i cant find any type of confirmation :(
  7. We don't need trader banks. We have Barons ---> http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=120149 And no, i refuse to duel someone that isn't a noble aristocrat but a mere merchant! My Oleander origin doesnt permit me to do so! P.S: Titus i somehow deleted your earlier post Soz!!!
  8. Nice little MOC I especially like the native children natives and the use of the fishing net! Also nice surface elevation! I bet the climate is cool where you landed since your natives are dressed to the neck
  9. Eslandola has money, not armies or guns...! Meet you at the the battlefield my friends Or in sea that is
  10. Awesome story and interesting burial! Let's find out where this golden apple lurks :P
  11. So, when will it go past alpha and beta? Any info? I really stay away from games at these two stages as i really want to enjoy them at the fullest :)
  12. Come on, be serious! You know you cant win us Oleanders!!!
  13. Wow! Just wow! Awesome desk and presentation! Welcome to BoBS! I hope we don't meet your regiment in battle dear redcoa...ehrm...Corry! P.S: Rules are a bit plenty right now but feel free to ask whatever you want in your respected faction thread. What you need to know for now if you want to participate at the economy side of this game and get the most of it for this coming month, is that you can build (till the turn of the month) some kind of property (plus a kind of house if you want) and licence it for free since it will be your first and if you want to dabble in sea-faring adventures (insert money-making trade etc) you can also build a ship and again licence it for free since it will be your first. I state again that these are the oversimplified rules that will get you on your way as fast as possible. I would suggest that you read: http://www.eurobrick...7 Especially the property and Free-building sections in order to begin with. It will make things clear for you. Again, feel free to ask any questions in your fellow (hated) Corries thread :)
  14. Oleanders are way too quiet these days... Shall i presume we are all trying to catch up with the turn of the month?!?!? P.S: Dont forget that whatever you build this month, nets you income the coming month. So, nine more days gentlemen and ladies!!! Keep building!
  15. Finally a trench coat that looks superb!! With this collection and the earlier pirate one you are killing us!!! Everything is plainly perfect!!! If only we could buy directly from abroad in Greece... :(
  16. The proud nation of Oleon welcomes you to BoBS! I really like your MOCs colors and the addition of the thieves rotting under the sun is excellent :-) A note to everybody: read the story and check where the money comes from! Hint hint: Oleon's Barons! Hehehe!
  17. In the last photo the tower looks like painted! I love it! Also the story is intriguing. Although... You chose the wrong faction! Meh! :p
  18. Nice!!! The shack reminds me of a raft we made with my father back in the 90s...! I must rebuilt that again! On a side note, palm leaves look really nice!!
  19. Really nice! Simple, stern looking, suitable for business! That's why i opted for flesh log bricks at our LUGBULK and you Mike, set an excellent example at roof making :)
  20. Nice one! And you made all those corn plants differently! I prefer the ones with the yellow round 1x1 brick to be honest :P And that purple! I like it really much! Brings psychedelia to the MOC :))))
  21. I use (linen colored) cloth myself. It is the kind of cloth used for wooden miniature ships and in greece it is called "caboto". You can ask it from any relevant shop. It isn't that firm, but its the real thing and you can always put it in a bowl with water and a bit wood glue to acquire stiffness (the more glue, the firmer it becomes). You can also make these darker by letting them in a bowl of tea for some hours. On the other hand there are firmer, more expensive cloths and you can experiment on that. Check my flickr for some ideas on white and black sails too. In any case, experimenting and a bit of work nets you nice results imo. Only thing i havent tried yet, is sail printing as i dont have the means to do so.
  22. One of the best old pirate articles around. Pretty thourough too :-)
  23. Yay! Nice story! And these trans green look nice indeed!
  24. Nice ship SW! But you got it all in wrong colors! Paint it blue and i will like it more! Ahahaha!
  25. I, for one, have a ship (Little Hermes) ready to be put on sea and available for renting per month. To help my oleander friends, first month is for free if anyone wants to use it. For other nations a small insignificant DB fee will be required. Ship incoming today or tomorrow so stay tuned. Bart, fine detailing btw :)
