  1. The base and road are both colored and textured very well. All the details make the camp look appropriately busy. The channel and footbridge really add another dimension to the terrain. Good job on the minifig posing as well. Very good build!
  2. Beautiful! The columns, arches, crenelations, roof, and doors are very good. And of course the pool is splendid, although sadly it's now polluted... I like the gold plates/platters over the doors and the minifig posing is very good. Excellent concept and execution! (no pun intended)
  3. Very clean design on the base and the cracked road is beautiful even if it is relatively straight. I would like a few more details but still you have a lot of figures that look all set for action. Nice job overall.
  4. The architecture, colors, details and scale are simply splendid. White, tan and gold go together very well. The columns and wall patterns are excellent and the photo of the balconies and interconnected flowers is beautiful even if you mixed fleshies with yellows. The man in black on the top balcony could be me... Superb composition!
  5. Hilarious idea! The john is very well built and the base is very smooth. The pig is a funny feature. "Re-leaving" - haha!
  6. Ouch! Very good job on the floor and wall paneling. The little stand is nice and the posing is sufficently brutal. Poor dwarf...
  7. Yes, the first photo is excellent. The workshop is a little sparse but it's effective. The smashed door and lampstand are good features.
  8. The dock design is brilliant and the rocks and vegetation are very good as well. Considering what he's carrying (and where he's standing) the tan-haired minifig had better be careful! Nice symmetric build.
  9. Unique and humorous. I like the tent in particular.
  10. This is a neat, clean, simple build. The table is nice and so is the shelf. The alchemist has a "mad scientist" look to him with that hair. Very imaginative counter.
  11. Welcome aboard LeutinantBluecoat! I share your interest in the Pirates theme. Hope to see you on the forums.
  12. In terms of enjoyment I think my favorite building experience was the original Pizzeria, which I've kept intact from the day it was built. Yes, it's small and simple but I wanted the set badly and the pizzas were great! I also really liked the minifigs in that set. The 10210 Imperial Flagship (Pirates) would probably be number 2.
  13. Welcome aboard, Cami! I've been to Arizona once sightseeing. Not too hard to guess where... Anyway, glad to have you!
  14. Welcome aboard, Cristian! Where in Italy do you live? It sounds like your Lego interests are diverse. You had me with "Pirates". Hope to see you on the forum!
  15. Welcome! Where do you live in California? I've been there several times visiting family and it's such a diverse and beautiful state.
  16. "Time is scarce" - yes, we all understand that one! I was also a long-time lurker and also had difficulties registering... Anyway, I'm new too but welcome aboard!
  17. Phred, unfortunately I've never been to any Lego convention or show of any type. As for the sigfig - I really should do something about that. Black legs, Brickbeard's torso with 2 hands, no epaulettes, the dome helmet soldier head from the 2013 Forest Ambush and a black tricorne with red feather. Actually I envision my sigfig wearing the torsos from Redbeard, the current Pirate cap'n, the CMF pirate, and anything like the CMF judge. In other words, respectable 1700s male attire. When it comes to tricornes I'm the Mad Hatter. I currently have almost 700, including a bulk order of 500 new black ones from Bricklink! The black/white trim is my favorite (I have 50) but it's a military hat and my sigfig is a civilian. Or a craftsman...hint hint.
  18. Overall the building techniques are pretty simple but it's a good action scene with plenty play features. Nice job with the ship - it's small but matches the scene well. The cobblestone is good and the red roof gives it a splash of color. I think the powder is fine as long as the barrel doesn't leak!
  19. Interior or not, that's beautiful. The rocks, walls and roofs are all excellent. The door and planks are good and the trans-clear water is a nice touch as well. Very good job!
  20. The border and black base are very sharp and clean and I like the transition from sand to road to rocks. The action is excellent and the cavalry is a well-detailed and colorful feature. Very good overall.
  21. "Lame story" or not, you've placed a lot of minifigs in a small build and that's worth something. The rocks are good and the base is simple but effective. The gems and treasure chest are a unique, colorful feature. Overall this is pretty good.
  22. Oh my! Very funny! It's very simple but pretty much self-explanatory with those "borrowed" veggies hoisted so indignantly. Good job with something so small.
  23. The curved wall/tower is excellent in terms of overall design and color; the different greys really go good with the blue and gold. The base is superb - I really like the dark blue accents in the floor and the crown mosaic is simple but brilliant. The door looks good too. Very nice build!
  24. The mobile fortress looks pretty good...what's left of it anyway! Fire has suddenly become the hottest fashion... The base is a little sparse but the plants, bird and of course all the action bring it to life. Good job overall.
  25. This is a very good design with a unique color scheme. The archway is very impressive and looks great sitting on an angle. The rest of the architecture is good and the flowers are a nice touch. The elevated base is pretty cool too. Keep on building!
