I'd imagine we'll see a mini Falcon with landing hangar. -

350$ and ~3000 pcs according to someone on instagram. Jesus... Could this be the most expensive Ideas set to date? -

Someone on Instagram is saying the MBS Mos Eisley has 3200+ pieces, retails for 350$, VIP release mid September with general release on October. Gonna go check when the UCS Star Destroyer was revealed to get an idea of when we could expect official pics for Mos Eisley. -

I just noticed that TLG has already made an Ithorian head mold before. Only shows up in 75051. The Cantina could be a great set for new minifigures and head pieces. Anyways, this is a much more interesting rumor than a remake of a spaceship we've already had in UCS form. -

MBS Cantina? Interesting, but how many play features could they cram into such a big set? It's an iconic location, but not one that lends itself to as much action as the Ewok Village, Echo Base or Cloud City. I agree about a Jabba-related UCS/MBS. I'd love a minifigure scale Sail Barge. -
300CAD, alright, but seeing that 200USD makes me wish it were 270CAD like some other 200USD sets used to be, especially considering USD->CAD conversion takes 200USD to 270CAD. I like the set. Now I hope we get an SNES to go with it. Edit: woah, I just saw the video with the game in motion. I'll take eight.

Crossing my fingers for maximum 300CAD. I love it, but not 350CAD love it.

I've only ever filled out a set survey once or twice, but this one really deserved it! Hopefully it becomes an ongoing yearly line like the modulars or the expert vehicles. I only wish TLG had included at least 1 cargo wagon for this set.
-
I built the set yesterday and added the mod to fill the gaps today. Woah! I wish TLG made more Expert Trains like this one!

Refresh my memory - is the Diagon Alley rumored to be a September or an August release? September, right?

So, what are Leaf, IP-2 and Zebra?

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

What do you think the box art will look like for future modulars? Do you expect TLG to use the bland 18+ style or to keep the usual street background? I hope the box art stays colorful. I'd be surprised if they were even marketed as 18+ sets. -

IMO those are specs for Sesame Street. From the Ideas projects themselves, it seems more likely to me that a large building à la Ghostbusters Firehouse would contain more pieces than the piano. But who knows for sure. I'm more excited for the piano anyways as I didn't grow up with Sesame Street. -

I believe Brickset mentioned that TLG told them that Grievous is a particularly complex and pricey figure to produce. However, the previous Soulless One retailed for 50$ and had about 450 pieces I believe. Also, the descriptions for the sets crack me up . From Brickset user FlyerBeast: "Okay so, things they're boasting about these sets in the write-ups:> Contains instructions> No batteries required (that's almost a negative, to me)> The pieces fit together and can be taken apart> All the pieces are Lego pieces, not anything else> You can play with them> People can be fans of Star Wars> It is socially acceptable to give this to someone as a gift> Children have imaginations> There are other products in the range> We also made a videogame" -

120CAD for Soulless One? Hahahahahahahaha, that's absolutely ridiculous. -
Love the set. I hope it follows the recent trend of 100USD -> 140CAD, and not more.

Disney Princesses 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Terrasher replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
They look cute, but I would have much preferred a traditional made-for-minifigures set. Printing the eyes feels like a cop out, but I guess it's easier than making them brick-built. 180 Euros? Haha... At least there's still the Crocodile Locomotive to look forward to in July. -

*Puts on tinfoil hat* Anyone seen the recent picture of the LEGO catalog with the "coming soon" dates for Marvel superheroes, Jurassic World and Disney? I'm intrigued about the Disney one, since it uses the brick-built backdrop that's now common with most 18+ sets. Could a new D2C be coming? Is it just coincidence? It says June 17, a Wednesday in the middle of the month, which is usually when TLG reveals the D2C for the following month. -

So now that the Sian is coming out, when do you think the Chiron will retire? The Porsche lasted about 6 months or so after the release of the Chiron. Will the Chiron last until 2021? Or is its retirement upon us? -
LEGO Creator 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Terrasher replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
A leaker's saying there are 4 more Creator Expert sets coming out this year: 10274 to 10277. One is probably the Winter Village... But what could the other 3 be? Another vehicle? A landmark? Something completely different? I look forward to know.
