Thank You so much Phyre for this awesome feedback. Thank You Servertijd. Thank You Master_Data Thank You zoth33 Thank You Leonardo. I find the Ninjago snakes wonderful. I've used them the first time for my steam locomotives, in white, and now for the cauldron. Thank You Littleworlds. I'm glad You like it. But I'm not sure much people likes it. It's not going much on LEGO Ideas. No problem, I'm happy with this awesome comments Thank You peedeejay Thank You BrickJagger, but I'm absolutely not a genius, I only have fun searching new use for parts

The Elf-Witch Cottage In the depths of the enchanted woods, where reality and fantasy meet, an elf-witch has lived since forever. Nobody knows her name or her exact age, maybe 100, maybe 1000 years, but it doesn't matter, she's part of the woods she lives in now. She's always busy with her magic potions and her studies… fascinated by nature's incredible colors and shapes, she keeps on living in her house, away from the rest of the world. I've always been fascinated by nature, by its colors, and by the fantasy universe. In this project I tried to put it all together, using unusual parts and colors that I'd underestimated before. I'm very satisfied with the result. You can look at more pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/vedosololego/albums/72157682099871646 Or You can support on LEGO Ideas here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/172038 Thank You

BREAKING NEWS! LEGO TO GO INTO THE REAL ESTATE MARKET The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr The world-famous Danish Company known for its toys and highly sophisticated interlockable brick systems took the plunge into the real estate market with a new type of prefabricated house targeted to AFOLs (acronym for ‘adult fan of LEGO’). The standard model in red, is three-storey connected by elegant stairs, features wooden floors, large windows across the whole rear of the house, a amazing Wurlitzer Jukebox, and even a glass display sitting in between the ground and 1st floor hosting a UCS Millenium Falcon in it (included in the price). The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Now on the layout of the various floors: The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Ground floor will have a Brick Room, where you can sort your bricks, a work bench with a brick separator, a personal computer and some cupboards to store your parts. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr First floor will have a lovely living room with crystal displays, to showcase your favourite sets and custom creations to AFOL friends while listening music playing in the Jukebox. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Second floor will have a big table to host a city diorama (included in each house, but you can customize to your liking) and practise before taking your stuff to events. A manhole will also lead you to the attic to blow the cobwebs away and, who knows, sport a new IDEAS creation! This whole house will be just 1590 pieces including furniture! The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr You may ask yourselves: ‘No bathroom? A bed? Kitchen?’ Nothing to worry about, a hardcore AFOL doesn’t need any of these and even so there will be some other modular building next to this one where you would seek help. As we said, the model will be of 1590 pieces. Just because you can’t split it like conventional modular buildings, it will have hinges to open the rear all in one piece. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr All floor can be pulled out to ease playability and to make changes to the layout. This innovative modular building fits to any other existing LEGO products, and gives a touch of color to your city theme. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Just try now to visualize it the real word, or your city. Would it be awesome, don’t you think? How colourful any city would be, or more beautiful? I would personally buy it, if only LEGO would produce it. Who ever dream of a place where you could express your passion for bricks to the best? For now, it’s only possible to vote for this project, who knows where the future leads.. My first proposition of the model is red, a real classic color for LEGO. The AFOL Brick House by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr On a unrelated side note, the story behind my nickname. ‘VedoSoloLEGO’ means ‘I see only LEGOs’ in Italian, my native language. Reason behind that is anything i look at I try to picture it in brick shape. I hope you enjoy it. Technical notes: The model has been created with Mecabriks and rendered via Blender. Special thanks to gabriele.zannotti for the wonderful pictures and support; without his help, it wouldnt even be possible to show you this project with thee lovely hires pics. If you would like to keep in touch with the project you can subscribe to my Ideas profile, including my other projects, or on Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, Mocpages, by looking for my username ‘VedoSoloLEGO’. If you like this project, please share and vote here https://ideas.lego.com/projects/154372 Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!

This is a very nice train. For the ones like me who can't buy the old 10173, it's very good. Probably i will buy one for collection, but i like more the mine one version on LEGO Ideas. You can take a look at it here https://ideas.lego.com/projects/132674 Now i'm sure, even if it were achieve 10000 supporters, LEGO will never produce it. I'd still like to know wich one You prefer. Thanks Here You can found some pictures of the builded model https://www.facebook.com/VedoSoloLEGO/

Swiss Electric Crocodile Locomotive (SBB CE 6/8)
vedosololego replied to vedosololego's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thank You so much for this great compliments. Now the project has 1471 supporters and only 58 days left. It will never reach 10000. But it's a big satisfaction for me. I hope LEGO will produce in future new realistic locomotives like this one but also like some amazing projects from others creators. Now i've got others two locomotives close to 500 supporters, and a Christmas Train. I've heard voices about a Christmas Train for this year. Have someone heard something about it? I'm courious to see if it is similar to the mine one. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/132674 This is the link to the project, but now i've built it in real bricks with some additions. I'm trying to make some nice pictures but it's too big and it don't fit in the light-box.- 16 replies

Thank You. Yes, a black cauldron themed set will be amazing. -
What must I tell.. Awesome work. Here I can see a real locomotive master. Mine one was a little more than a nice idea, no one has ever built this model. You have take it to another level. I'm proud to be the inspiration for this locomotive. My compliments. It will be nice to see all two, one near the other, to make a comparison. Thank You for this fantastic work.

Thank You to all ones for the great comments. The project just reach 400 supporters, but now it runs very slowly. It's time to share with Your friends and tell them to Support it if You like. Thank You so much.

HUGO CABRET Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr This i my small tribute to a great movie, Hugo Cabret, by Martin Scorsese. The movie is based on Brian Selznick's graphic novel "The Invention Of Hugo Cabret". Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr It’s about a boy who lives alone in the Gare Montparnasse railway station in Paris in the 1930s. His died father has left behind notebooks, including his plants to finish an automaton found in a museum. Hugo seems somewhat a genius with gears, screws, springs and levers, and the mechanical man is himself a steampunk masterwork of shining steel and brass. Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr During the story Hugo meets many people including a girl named Isabelle with which he will share his secrets, and her uncle Georges. This old man is none other then the immortal french film pioneer Georges Melies, who was also the original inventor of the automaton. Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr This is also a tribute to the great cinema and its first pioneers. It will be a nice idea include a tile with a graphic that represent Georges Melies most famous short film "A Trip To The Moon" (1902) with the ship that pokes the man in the moon in the eye. Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr If you have never watched this movie I strongly suggest to take the time and watch it. It doesn’t represent only the story of a boy, but mostly it is an analogy about the sense of life, putting the emphasis on how much each person contribution is important in the world. Hugo during the movies states: “I like to think that the world is a whole big unique equipment. You know equipment are made with the exact number pieces they need, consequently I come to the conclusion that if the world is a unique equipment, I personally have a reason to be here and the same is for you!” Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr In reference to my creation, I have tried to incorporate as many details and references to the movie as possible. You can find Hugo Cabret, Isabelle, Georges Melies with his camera, the automaton, the mechanic mouse, many mechanisms, the clock, the heart shape keys. All the mechanisms on the left work as the same as the one in the central column, some with a continuous movement other with an alternate movement in order to simulate the goes by of the time. Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Because I am not an expert of LEGO Technic I was not able to make the mechanisms of the clock to work, so they are there only for a visual purpose. In the event that this project would be made I am sure that LEGO designers would find a way to make it work. I am here to ask to vote for my idea, a new project based on a wonderful movie with a deep message and please forgive my skills about making mechanisms work! Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr This project could become an official LEGO set if it gathers 10000 votes. Voting is easy, free and without any obligation, You just have to click on the blue button "Support" (to vote) and "Follow" (to be updated). If You don't have an account on LEGO Ideas, You must register, You will receive an email to activate your account and then You can already vote. Hugo Cabret by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr If You liked my Hugo Cabret project, please consider sharing it on your blog, website, forum, Facebook or Twitter, and invite your friends to check it out and vote. Social networks are very effective in promoting a project and every vote is needed to make it real. Thank You so much for visiting this project and for the time You will spend for sharing it. I hope that you enjoy this project and if you would like to can check out my other projects, I would like to know your feedback on them. You can find them in my LEGO Ideas profile. vedosololego replied to vedosololego's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for all the compliments. I also think they must be a best seller Worldwide. They are small, detailed, very colorful, and who don't know them? My original idea was for a complete serie based on Disney Classics, but this is not allowed on Ideas. So I present only three scenes. Yes, I've got many others ideas, but I'm waiting to buy the collectible minifigs. If You really want them, Support, Follow and share them everywhere You can, also on Disney non LEGO-related community if You can. Probably these will not reach 10000 supports, but can encourage LEGO build something like this. Thanks -

Swiss Electric Crocodile Locomotive (SBB CE 6/8)
vedosololego replied to vedosololego's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thank You all. More than one year to build it and some details missing compared to the original project, but the final result is not bad. I Always try to find a second use for the parts that I have, it's funny. Here I've used the ice skates, the snowshoes and bugs. In the E326 locomotive I used bows for the pantographs.- 16 replies

Hi train lovers. I open this topic to present to You and promote my Italian locomotive E326. Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr More than one year ago I launched it on Lego Ideas (here is the link if You want to support the project https://ideas.lego.com/projects/134535) as a digital project. It ends its first year with 279 supports. Bad result. But during this year I was ordering the parts from Bricklink to build the locomotive. So I decided to relaunch the project. It takes 252 supports in 15 days. A better start. I build it with some changes because some parts are very difficult to find and some don't exist in the colors that I need. And yes, I've Painted the Windows because I want this type on the locomotive. Lego Ideas allows submitting existing parts in new colors. I normally don't paint Lego. (And this is an opportunity to have them in reddish brown) My english is not good, so here are some photos.. Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr Italian Locomotive Class E326 by Cristiano Grassi, su Flickr The locomotive is made with 670 parts. It runs good on curves, but it's not motorized. I know I'm a beginner with trains and surely not an expert like the most on this forum, but I've try to do my best here. And I know Ideas probably will never produce a locomotive, but many supports can encourage Lego to produce new locomotives. You can see complete photo gallery here https://www.flickr.c...s/vedosololego/ I hope You like and support this and my other projects on Ideas. Thanks

Hi. I've got two locomotives and a train on Ideas. I know i'm not expert in trains like most of people here, but i've tried to do my best in my projects. One is the first posted on this topic (the Swiss Electric Crocodile). Yes, they have started as digital projects, but more than one year later i've finished to build them in bricks. I'm making some good photos and i will add them on Flickr and here in a few days. I know they will never reach 10000 supports, but probably they could encourage Lego to produce more good trains and locomotives. Unfortunately the two locomotives cannot run in order to the heavy weight. These are the links if You like them and want to support. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/97696 https://ideas.lego.com/projects/134535 https://ideas.lego.com/projects/132674 Thanks
