  1. Amen to that. Varying height of the buildings break the monotony just like the color variation. And again, a Parisian restaurant next to a Chinese themed cinema and a detectives office already makes the neighborhood diverse so that height might just as well.
  2. Generally I find it hard to evaluate the greatness of a set based on the title alone. Need to see some pics, and then I will probably add my five cents :)
  3. Well it is all rumors anyway: Deli or arcade. We will know later this year when Lego officially announces the set. I'm personally cheering for the deli, as I think it would have better exterior. Time will tell.
  4. Hopefully this I not the case; I'm still missing the PR.
  5. Nice review Zusammengebaut. And a very pleasant voice over. :-) Brick on!
  6. This MOC is absolutely amazing. The amount of detail is stunning, including the sand beach, the cliffs, the wall onthe backside, the merchants area. I could go on. A true master piece. Brick on MassEditor!

    Train station

Amazing classical train station. It reminds me of the grand old train stations in Europe like in Budapest. Keep up the great work ivanych!
  8. Nice review mostlytechnic. I particularly like the use of grey background surface for the pictures. It somehow makes the building stand out more. Good job!
  9. What makes you say that? Using minifigs as a reference size, I would say that the new Ferris wheel and the modulars fit together quite nicely. However, for the final judgement I would need the ferris wheel next to one of the modulars. I guess someone will make this comparison once the ferris wheel is out.
  10. Ok, this set is pretty awesome.maybe I should consider buying it anyway, but still there is the problem of where to put it. Hmm. :/
  11. Looks nice, bur I probably won't buy it. Haven't got the space nor the money.
  12. Well, the stock for the PC was down together with the PS during the VIP double points in March, but the PC is back in stock, so I do not expect it to retire before summer.
  13. Now that would be a must have!
  14. Looks Great. Thanks for the video link. :)
  15. I love that train. Is it inspired by a real life locomotive?
  16. Is that purple train a MOC of the Pågatågen from the Scania region of south Sweden? I like it just like the rest of your town.
  17. Fezter: Where do you have this info from? Would be good news if true. :)
  18. And then the PC sent out of stock again in Europe, with a delivery date on April 17th. The stock must be pretty low at the moment, and so the question remains: how many more PC sets will Lego produce. I would be surprised if the PC is to retire bow, since it has only been 6 months since the TH and GE were retired. If the PS also retires low, that would be a total of 4 modulars in a little more than 6 months. That would be very surprising to me.
  19. Nice April fools joke, but nothing more than that. It does not make sense that the Lego group would make these retired modulars available for a few days, well knowing how extremely popular they are and thus how much money the Lego group could make from such a reawakening. I do wish though that it was for real. Bummer.
  20. Well, the PC is back in stock here in Europe, so I guess it is not retiring yet. However, the PS delivery date keeps getting pushed. Now it is May 7th. Either a very large number of orders for the PS have been made during the 2x VIP points period, or it is really close to retiring. Hmm.
  21. Interesting if both the PS and the PC are retiring. That leaves only two modulars left in the shops. Would surprise me, but hey Lego acts in the way that suits Lego best. Will follow the development on this for sure.
  22. Seeing those pictures of the "Frisk i trafikken" campaign brings back alot of memories. I actually think I had that MD foods truck back then, but no more. Very nice post Lego Historian. :)
  23. I've been thinking that for future modulars a bakery would be a nice commercial modular. As a corner building maybe a bank would be fitting. I'm really looking forward to the rumors of next years modular starts to roll in.
  24. I'm speechless. Absolutely amazing work Kinggregus!
