  1. Are those Ayesha’s legs?
  2. I haven’t seen any major leakers claim that it’s not Hogwarts. Like I said before, if the price is less than $400 I could see it being Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley, but I haven’t seen any price rumors less than €485. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, but I don’t think I’d spend $500 on a Diagon Alley set unless it’s the greatest Lego set ever made.
  3. We know that the price is something around $500-600 and €485. Price leaks aren’t usually wrong. I cannot see a Harry Potter D2C that costs $500 as anything other than Hogwarts, the most iconic location from the books and movies. If the D2C has always been rumored to be around $300, then I might think it could be Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade. I definitely believe that it’s Hogwarts though unless this $500 D2C set isn’t even for the HP theme (although that seems extremely unlikely).
  4. I definitely think that spaceship will be a set and we’ll get that giant Unikitty build somewhere (which looks amazing). I wouldn’t be surprised if the house spaceship was like a $60-80 set and I’m expecting to get lots of sets based on the other planets which we didn’t really see in this trailer. I don’t think the post apocalyptic world will take up too much of the movie so I’m not expecting more than 2-3 smaller sets set in that world, but I need those sewer babies.
  5. Great set! I like the brick built animals a lot and I now feel bad for ever doubting Lego’s ability to make them amazing. The molded heads with the brick built bodies work great and the Occamy and Thunderbird look gorgeous. The recolored wings are amazing and the Erumpent looks good too! I’m a big fan of how the suitcase folds up and the interior details are amazing. The cherry on top would’ve been a small Occamy but I think it would require a new mold so I’m fine without it, or maybe a representation of the Obscurus Newt has in his case.
  6. Exactly! They could sell T. rex figures with a minifigure and a small side build or pedestal like this set for $20 and make a huge profit. Kids would definitely buy them!
  7. I’m really pumped for the Enfys Nest set after seeing the movie, and I bought the new Falcon and Imperial battle pack on eBay right after I watched it. I agree that the red droid in the Falcon is a strange inclusion. From the beginning, I thought that L3 would’ve been a better fit there but I guess they just aren’t making her.
  8. DC gets a lot of new molds and prints. It’s probably on par with the Marvel sets and Harry Potter has so many new molds because it’s a major theme revival and also took some of the budget from other themes like Jurassic World.
  9. Newt, Tina, and Jacob are definitely not the “three main characters”, because there are four. Jacob without Queenie makes no sense given how involved their characters are with each other.
  10. That new T. rex looks incredible. The design looks awesome! I’m really mad that it’s an exclusive. I wish they would sell little sets like these for $20- they’d make a killing because kids would want the big dinosaurs, and the pedestals could imply that they’re a museum display.
  11. I think that this theme is like LOTR/The Hobbit, where the new movies (Fantastic Beasts) allowed the company to produce sets based on the older property (Harry Potter). I’m expecting one or two small (2-3 or 3-4) waves for HP next year and then they’ll have bigger waves and bigger sets in the years when a movie comes out, but who knows. I’m definitely expecting sets next year at the very least.
  12. I really hope that no one complains about laziness in this wave of sets. They’ve gone all out with new characters, molds, and printing. They’ve gone so far that they’re taking from the budgets of other themes as well. I for one don’t care at all that Harry and Ron have inaccurate outfits in the Hogwarts Express set, since they were in civilian clothing in that scene and I don’t really need 2 civilian Harry variants that are both wearing generic, boring clothing.
  13. I agree. The scale is odd and too similar to the size of the Mirkwood spiders for me, and Aragog is much bigger than them. A $20 set would have been better so they could give him the Shelob treatment.
  14. Spiders aren’t pieces that we usually get spares of. Spare pieces are usually small and very common.
  15. Isn’t it just the mold introduced with the City Jungle theme? It seems to have a web printed on it and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a flick fire missile.
  16. The Porg set has leaked. I thought that people were kidding when they talked about a UCS style Porg but I guess not! It looks cool and I might get it depending on the price. Looks like a $40 ish set to me but I wouldn’t be surprised if they made it $60 or something ridiculous.
  17. Aragog looks good but not great. Seems like they wanted him to be as detailed as Shelob but smaller, and I don’t think the scale works properly. The eyes look a bit strange and the legs seem too small. It’s nice to get the new lantern and a new color for the new spider in such a small set, though. Overall I think if they increased the budget to $20-25 then they could’ve made a spider as big as Shelob that would’ve looked better.
  18. I’m not 100% sure that it’s real. Nagini is a very strange mold and not the right color at all, and why would a CMF be leaking this early? I don’t think we’ve ever seen a physical CMF figure leak 3 months before the series releases.
  19. The Disney Castle came with 3 exclusive character variants and one entirely exclusive character. The Falcon had 2 exclusive variants, one of which is being repeated almost exactly in a $30 set this summer. The Helicarrier had 2 exclusive variants and an exclusive character. I’m expecting the D2C to have 8-10 figures with the only exclusives being staff like Flitwick, Sprout, and Trelawney, and maybe new outfits for characters like Dumbledore and McGonagall.
  20. We don’t need a Filch variant to get Mrs. Norris in the CMF. These sets are primarily based on movies 1-2, so they could do a petrified Hermione variant in the CMF that also includes Mrs. Norris since she was the first to get petrified.
  21. The Great Hall is not big enough to connect to a $600 Hogwarts D2C. The Hall and the adjoining tower should be the biggest parts of the castle and unless everything in the D2C is the same size and has the same level of detail as the normal sets it won’t work together. Forcing the D2C to connect to the existing regular retail sets would stunt the size in my opinion. They should just make a complete Hogwarts as the D2C and the retail sets can contain sections to connect to each other for those who can’t afford the large set. Dedicating $200 of the budget to the Hall and tower in the D2C would work best.
  22. $100 is a much better price although I would still wait for a bit of a discount.
  23. I don’t personally remember her wand color from either the book or movie, but I thought I saw someone mention that she had a pink wand a few pages back.
  24. That red HUD is amazing. I thought they might do a new Rhodey face but I didn’t think they would go that far! Tony also has arm printing which is really cool. It would’ve been nice to get the sunglasses but all of these figures are so amazing that it’s not really necessary.
  25. It’s a shame that Umbridge doesn’t have a pink wand, but Seraphina has a purple one and I’m assuming we’ll get extras in each set since they’re tiny pieces, so hers could just double as Umbridge’s! August 1st is the release date for the regular sets. I’ve heard July 1st for the BrickHeadz but I’m not 100% sure about those.
