  1. Lego doing Juniors sets for Harry Potter wouldn’t even make sense. HP is a theme that appeals to all ages but the movies and books get darker and more adult themed towards the end. Doing affordable normal sets is fine for a theme like this. Juniors sets would just be weird considering that Harry Potter is not a children’s movie in the way that something like Incredibles 2 is.
  2. The Niffler is pretty cute and I love how it was JK herself who revealed it!
  3. Thanks, I’ll avoid talking about the movie then.
  4. Looks like we’re getting a molded Niffler! Edit: Sorry, didn’t notice that it was already posted about.
  5. So does that mean we can’t discuss set accuracy in the spoiler tags? The Ant-Man set sounds great. I’m glad we’re getting anything new at all. Wasp’s helmet needed a new mold but this is better than reusing Ant-Man’s helmet or just printing it on. I’m hoping the build is the Quantum Realm ship since that would be much cooler than a van. I also really hope we’re getting a Wasp nanofigure but I have a bad feeling we won’t get one.
  6. Mario power has revealed that set 76109 is “Ant-Man vehicle” and will release in June for €25.
  7. Just you. They had no problem making the Grandmaster because he was a significant supporting character who was in Thor: Ragnarok for a good chunk of the movie. They aren’t going to make an old Ian Malcolm figure when he appears in one scene in a small cameo role. Besides, I’m fairly sure that everyone would complain if we got an old Ian Malcolm figure before we get one based on his Jurassic Park or The Lost World appearance.
  8. I’m not a fan of Star Wars but I still buy some sets because I like the ship builds in Lego. People who don’t like Harry Potter could still be tempted by this line for all the new molds, minifigures, and the great builds. I see no reason why someone who doesn’t care about Harry Potter couldn’t buy the Great Hall set- it’s beautifully designed and they can just integrate it with other castles or create a MOC around it.
  9. Thanks, I didn’t realize that they were up on the products page. I’m just used to sets being pictured on the site for a week or two before release and then being available for purchase soon after midnight.
  10. I’d like to see a new mold for Nagini since they seem to be going all out with this line. I think that Harry Potter should have a healthy theme life of 5-6 years and end with the last FB movie. One or two waves every 2 years to coincide with the new movies would be fine. I don’t want the theme becoming oversaturated like Star Wars, where there’s WAY too many sets to collect. If they have new sets every year I think they should follow the superhero style of doing 8 or so sets a year.
  11. The sets are supposed to come out in just over an hour and there’s still no sign of them online. Did they change the release date on us or something? I’m really confused.
  12. I would prefer a large final wave (last book, movies 7 and 8) that includes a Horcrux in every set.
  13. It seems like they’re setting up this line to last for a long time, since all of these sets are only based on years 1-2 with a little bit of 3.
  14. The last sets were available for about a year and a half. I expect that these sets will stay on shelves for at least a year.
  15. Could use some leg print, but the helmet looks a lot better there. I still wish she had a new mold but it looks fine. I also like the wings. The plastic wings are completely idiotic and unwieldy, and if they weren’t going to make a new mold this is good enough.
  16. The sets still aren’t up on Shop@Home...
  17. Ghost looks surprisingly good. I wasn’t sure how well the hood would work but it looks great and I understand why they didn’t make a new mold for her. She could’ve used some leg printing but I guess the figure is fine enough without it.
  18. Yes, but that’s apparently a December release and a Lego exclusive, so information will come out a lot more slowly for that set.
  19. Oh, okay. These prices must be pretty accurate, then.
  20. How do we already have the DCPI numbers?
  21. I’m not sure what set we could get all of these figures in. Wong doesn’t appear to share scenes with Bucky or War Machine, so the set would have to be wildly inaccurate to get all of them at once. I do hope we seem them, though. I’m still holding out hope for a new Scarlet Witch but this poster appears to use her Civil War variant.
  22. Snape looks good! I’m assuming he’ll come in the Whomping Willow set.
  23. Apparently it’s listed on the Walmart website. Official images are out and the build looks surprisingly great. It’s built on a pretty big plate for a $4 polybag.
  24. Just2Good has his review of the Indoraptor set up!
  25. Wonder Woman being a repeat doesn’t matter since her costume didn’t change and the figure was already perfect the way it is. Sure, two figures could’ve used dual molding and didn’t, but they went all out otherwise. All the heroes had leg printing (except Superman), Aquaman, Cyborg, the Flash, the Atlantean guards, and Steppenwolf all had new molds, and even the generic Parademons had full printing including leg printing. They didn’t skimp to the extent that they’ve been doing for Marvel. Even in 2016 figures that could’ve used leg printing didn’t get it (Vulture, Scorpion, White Tiger).
