  1. I don’t think they’ll reveal it on the day of VIP release. They just did that for the James Bond car and doing it again less than a month later would be weird, especially because it doesn’t look like it really worked out for them with the car.
  2. Maybe, but her hair in Justice League was also much redder than the color they chose.
  3. After that trailer I really want an Orm figure and I wish that we had gotten an Atlantis set. Also, Mera’s hair is bright red so why did Lego give her an orange hairpiece??
  4. Isn’t there a separate speculation thread? This one is only for rumors and discussion.
  5. They don’t need to reveal the rest at SDCC, though. They have plenty to show off there and in 2016 Hulk vs Red Hulk was revealed for SDCC and the other two sets in the wave weren’t revealed until much later.
  6. I ordered my box from Minifigure Maddness and seeing as how I live in the US I’m not expecting to get it until the end of August. I’m still going to go out and buy some random packs, though, especially because I want a second Graves figure.
  7. I still think we would’ve heard about a second set by now. I’m assuming they chose to make a set with Black Manta because they already had the helmet mold and they could make a submarine for him. I also think Black Manta is more popular and has more name recognition than Ocean Master but I’m not 100% sure.
  8. I wouldn’t count on it. Lego didn’t make the main villains of Civil War, Doctor Strange, or Guardians 2 for the MCU sets and I feel like we would’ve heard about a second Aquaman set by now. Oh, and Lego didn’t make Doomsday for BvS either.
  9. Maybe they’ll save the reveal for July 31st, since that’s both Harry’s and J.K. Rowling’s birthdays.
  10. I’m assuming this is a Lego Ninjago Movie wave 2 situation, where the sets that should release in January release December 1st. I’m guessing that there’ll be 1-2 more comic sets for December 1st and then 1-2 Captain Marvel sets for January.
  11. What complete lack of information? We know it’s a micro scale Hogwarts with 36 nanofigures, minifigures of the four founders, and that it’ll be $350-450. All that’s left is seeing the set, and they’ve revealed two big D2C sets in the last few weeks so it looks like they’re saving this one for right before Comic-Con. It releases in under a month so we know it’ll be revealed soon anyway.
  12. I like the new Venom figure but maybe it would’ve been cooler to include a different (maybe new) villain and just say that the Venom “mech” is Venom himself, just grown to a bigger size. That would’ve allowed them to include more characters and seem less redundant after that Batman vs Poison Ivy mech set.
  13. I don’t think it’ll be tomorrow since the James Bond car is being revealed tomorrow morning. Maybe Thursday or Friday?
  14. Venom’s torso is new as well, I saw a picture of the new and old side by side and there are some subtle differences. Also, I feel like Spider-Gwen couldn’t be improved unless they gave her arm printing and I guess they didn’t have room in the budget given the totally new Spider-Man and Venom figures as well as the new web pieces. I can’t tell what piece makes up the monster Venom’s head- is it new or just a constraction shoulder piece?
  15. This set looks AWESOME. I assumed it would be $60-70 but $50 for 600 pieces and 4 exclusive minifigures? Yes please! I’m so happy that we’re finally getting Gwen Stacy and the new Venom and Spidey figures are amazing. Especially Spidey- they’ve finally stopped using the 2012 one and it looks like every part of him is new except the legs, but they’re dual molded so that’s very nice to see. It’s cool that Venom has a new face print and that they gave Aunt May a new torso. The Venom “mech” looks gorgeous but Spider-Man’s is a little more boring and not very unique although it’s still a good build. The new web pieces are also amazing to see! I didn’t think we’d be getting any more comic/non-MCU sets for a while so this has made my day.
  16. Definitely not. Seasons 5 and 6 were much more violent than Supergirl and the Flash have ever been.
  17. I saw on Instagram that Ultrakatty is $30, the truck is $50, and the spaceship is $70. I have no idea why the ship is that expensive...
  18. Black Lightning and Arrow are darker and more violent so I understand not making sets based off of them, but the other shows seem perfect for sets.
  19. The new sets look awesome. Definitely getting that Ultrakatty set as well as Sweet Mayhem’s spaceship, but that truck is kind of boring and $70 is too much for it. Reminds me of the Tail-gator from the Batman Movie.
  20. I guess, but shows like The Flash and especially Supergirl are a lot more light hearted and kid friendly than even the DCEU movies.
  21. It’s a nice figure. I wish they would’ve continued with Legends members, though. I don’t understand why Lego hasn’t made even one regular Arrowverse set. The shows are pretty popular and if they made a $30-50 set during the November crossover time with several main heroes I’m sure it would fly off the shelves.
  22. I mean, their skin is gray so it’s much more accurate than the black face. I definitely think this dementor is a step down from the 2015 one. The tattered cape doesn’t look as ethereal as the full body ones from 2010 and I don’t love the ghost leg piece on dementors.
  23. The SDCC exclusive figure is Sheriff Deadpool! It looks awesome!
  24. I’m hoping it’ll be revealed soon. The Disney Castle and Ninjago City were both in the same boat as Hogwarts (mid-August VIP release, September 1st general release) and I believe their press release announcements were on July 9th and June 22nd, respectively. Maybe we’ll see it at Comic-Con.
  25. The Highway Man from Series 17 was advertised as a “mystery” figure but I don’t think the classic policeman was advertised as a chase figure.
