  1. Is that the Leia from the UCS Falcon? That’s an amazing inclusion and I’m definitely buying that Hoth set. Snoke’s Throne Room was going to be a day one purchase for me (a first for a Star Wars set) but not anymore. I’ll wait until I see at least a 20% discount. There’s no reason why one new helmet mold should bump up a set’s price by $20.
  2. I doubt it. I feel like we would’ve heard about a wave 2 by now and Lego doesn’t seem to do more than 1 wave for dinosaur sets. We got so many sets for this single wave that I don’t think we need a second one even though it would be nice. I hope 2021 brings us some herbivores, though.
  3. I’ve never bought a minifigure from a Super Heroes set on BrickLink and skipped the actual set, but there’s a first time for everything. I like the build and all, but I am not paying $160 for a build that small no matter how many electronic devices it has inside. If I ever see it knocked down to $80 or something maybe I will, but there’s no room in my budget this year for something so overpriced. At least it looks nice- I like how close together the wheels are and the red windshield looks awesome.
  4. Yeah. The only problem is that all the small sets have great figure counts for their prices and it’s the bigger sets that seem to be lacking one or two figures, and she wouldn’t fit into either big set. I would’ve loved to see her replace the Outrider in the Corvus Glaive set. Is it okay to post spoilers now? I thought that there was a one month rule. Regardless, M’Baku is 100% not the best candidate to take over Wakanda. The Jabari were widely hated and feared by everyone until the events of Black Panther, which happened very recently in this nation’s history. The next person in line should be Shuri since she is the king’s daughter, although I suppose it depends on if she loses in ritual combat.
  5. I just had a thought. I know that in February a Harry Potter designer said that the theme took some of Jurassic World’s budget or something, so could that be why the Carnotaurus is so oversized and they didn’t try to make a new medium sized theropod mold?
  6. What a surprise! These are incredible. I’m definitely going to do whatever I can to get my hands on them! Tony was a huge surprise. If the Infinity War line is really done though, it’s insane that we haven’t gotten Scarlet Witch. She had much more of a role than Wong, Bucky, and War Machine combined. They should’ve thrown her into a set or a polybag at least. Hopefully we’ll see her in the Avengers 4 sets.
  7. You keep saying that, but is there any real evidence that it didn’t sell well except for the original reaction from fans? I don’t mean to be rude, but I’m just wondering if there are actual sales figures or something. I for one never saw the set discounted, I only saw it drop down to $300 on Amazon for a couple hours one day. That being said, I don’t think Hogwarts would ever be miniature scale because a) who would pay $500-600 for a mini Hogwarts, and b) it would remove most of the playability. The Helicarrier is an impossible thing to capture at figure compatible size which is why I think it was miniaturized, but Hogwarts at figure compatible scale should work given that the set is so huge.
  8. Why can’t you just save that much over time? I’m not rich by any means and already have $220 saved up because I’ve been steadily saving since February. I just have to sacrifice other sets and make sure not to spend too much. They’re going to release an enormous D2C castle for those who can afford it and for those who can’t they’re making sections of the castle in smaller sets. The castle section in the Willow set has more pin holes on the end so something will clearly connect there, too. The front of the Willow set looks very good but I might try buying a second tree on BrickLink to expand it. I’m super happy with this line and I’m very excited to get these sets!
  9. These sets are absolutely incredible. The Willow is disappointing since I expected a large tree but how can I complain when we’re provided with such a huge section of castle? The Quidditch set is insane, I love how all four houses are represented, and the lack of Hooch in this set makes me think she’ll be a CMF figure (how can you have anything Quidditch related without her?). The Hogwarts Express is an awesome surprise! I’m even happier that it includes Lupin and part of King’s Cross! The trolley witch is great to get as well. I’m confused about the Aragog set, though- is it coming or not?
  10. That dementor does not look very good. Maybe it’s the picture quality but it looks like it’s wearing goggles and I don’t like the use of the regular body and ghost legs. The old skeleton body with the robe going over the front and back looked a lot creepier.
  11. Lockhart is not an obscure character. He played a major role throughout Chamber of Secrets. He’s entirely fair game for a set. Susan Bones is far more obscure than he is and she still got a figure. I’d be very surprised if we don’t get a new Lockhart in the CMF at least. All the DADA teachers are figure-worthy, since they all had large (and mostly antagonistic) roles in the books and movies. As someone else mentioned, Binns is a truly obscure character who I wouldn’t be surprised to never get in Lego form.
  12. The sets are coming out in August, not June, and the BrickHeadz were not leaks, they were officially revealed by Lego.
  13. Infinity War figures started leaking in December, and I’m pretty sure Jurassic World leaks started in January.
  14. Both look awesome and I love their printing, but Mera kind of looks like Lois Lane playing dress-up between the generic female face and the style/color of the hair. I would’ve liked longer hair for Mera and the crown would’ve been cool too.
  15. BrickHeadz look amazing! I’m gonna have to save more for these. I guess that that Newt and Dumbledore BrickHeadz rumor was false.
  16. The more I look at that banner image, the more I’m certain that we’ll get that large castle section in the Willow set. The tree itself looks like it’s a lot smaller than I expected, since the branches we can see just use basic Technic axles and those elephant trunk pieces. It looks like the tree isn’t going to be as huge and detailed as I wanted but we’ll get a huge piece of Hogwarts.
  17. The set is already going to be very expensive. The lowest rumored price I’ve heard is €485 and the highest I’ve heard is $600. Let’s just wait and see, though.
  18. Ollivander looks great but confuses me. It would be odd for a CMF figure to have no leg printing, but I would hate to get a $600 Diagon Alley D2C. I hope it’s still Hogwarts, since Diagon Alley should only be a $300-350 set if they want to make a huge one. Speaking of Hogwarts, I think it’s far more likely now that the D2C will include the Great Hall. It would be strange without it and people don’t need to buy the smaller one if they’re buying the D2C, but if they can’t afford the D2C then the smaller one would be a good compromise. The new image is also interesting- the car looks great but that seems to be a lot of castle wall to go with the Willow.
  19. There could be another solution for a coat piece- make a stretchy fabric one that attaches at the legs like skirt pieces and then has holes for the arms to go through. It would be securely attached at the waist and then hang a little bit off the shoulders, but it would get the idea across and no one would have to pop arms out. Storm’s cape from 2014 did something like this, where it attached at the neck and then had holes for her hands to go through.
  20. The Wasp microfig in A4 sets would actually be a good idea. I doubt we’ll get another figure of her since Evangeline Lilly said she only has a small role and there are more important heroes to do, but giving us a Wasp microfigure would be a good way to get another character without taking up an actual minifigure slot.
  21. Hey everyone, I’m a bit confused about the summer sets that are coming. Were the rumors about Snoke’s Throne Room and the Resistance Transport Ship ever confirmed to be real or fake? Thanks!
  22. There’s a new Filch minifigure that’s leaked! It looks very nice although that Shakespeare hair piece looks a bit odd on him. I’m expecting that he’ll be in the Whomping Willow because it seems like it’s way too early for D2C figures to be leaking. Nope, the hairpiece is Shakespeare’s from 2013.
  23. There are still plenty of original Lego themes. People can argue that The Lego Movie and Ninjago/Ninjago Movie themes are licensed, but they aren’t like themes like Harry Potter and Super Heroes because they’re still purely original Lego ideas and designs. They’ve also got the new Unikitty series, Friends, Creator, Technic, and more. They do have lots of licensed themes and licensed sets seem to sell pretty well, but that doesn’t mean all of their original themes and ideas are completely dead.
  24. Looks like Oliver Wood reuses a generic face. Other than that he looks awesome! I’ll just put his old head on this figure.
  25. Given that’s it’s digital it’s almost certainly fake. Lego would only have digital versions of figures when they make the product page much closer to the set’s release.
