And we don't deal in baseless assumptions ... fact is that every online shop so far lists 42056 with a shipping date July 31 and a release date August 1.

There will be no VIP pre-sale for this set. It's said to be released on August 1 alongside the rest of the Technic 2H 2016 lineup.

That's what D2C sets for me have to be ... great display models. However Creator Expert D2C sets also have to be great builds, using clever building technices, etc. I'm sure Big Ben will have this as well. Can't wait for the Volkswagen Beetle, Big Ben and Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The only Lego sets I'll buy this year.

Those dimensions must be the clock tower only - otherwise it would be pretty small - only 19 cm wide??? Would make no sense if that includes the rest as well. 60 cm high is pretty good, can't wait for images!

We have no idea yet how many pieces it will have, what special features, etc. I think it will be well worth its price.

Yes, most likely lava orange. Also I believe the official reveal is coming very soon now. I'm excited, so excited Also happy that there doesn't seem to be any PF component, at least not from the box ... it's just useless crap noone uses anyways after 1-2 times. I prefer manual operated stuff, as it seems to be the case with this set

Creator Expert Brick Bank (January release) Ghostbusters Firehouse HQ (January release) Bat Cave (VIP mid February release) Star Wars Hoth Echo (April release) then comes Minecraft The Village (VIP mid May release) then comes Creator Expert Big Ben (VIP mid June release) then comes Creator Expert Volkswagen Beetle (VIP mid July release) then comes Disney Minifigures set (VIP mid August release) then comes Star Wars Death Star (VIP mid September release) then comes Star Wars Snowspeeder (VIP mid October release) then comes Creator Expert Winter Village set (VIP mid November release) ... and that's it for the D2C sets in 2016. three Star Wars D2C sets in one year ... something is VERY wrong with this!

We will get a new designed set matching the size of the T1 camper van, Mini Cooper and Ferrari F40. I'm hoping it will be the classic Beetle.
