  1. I don't mind - great set, great price ... what else do you wish for???
  2. So why should TLG do something special for the 40th anniversary of the Technic theme? I mean did we get something special for the 30th, 35th, ... anniversary??? I see no reason why TLG would do something special next year - as allanp said, it's more likely that they will do something special for the 50th anniversary. Also, with the 2nd wave of 2016 we get a lot of great stuff ... plus the Porsche set will probably come with new motor (RC) components (PF2) ... let's just wait and see.
  3. It's crazy that the this set "only" costs EUR 90 whilst set 42052 (Heavy Lift Helicopter, 1042 parts) costs EUR 120. Heavy Lift Helicopter: no license, 1042 parts - EUR 120 Volvo EW160E: licensed set, 1166 parts - EUR 90 But it's great to see - the collaboration between Volvo and TLG seems awesome. I'm sure Volvo doesn't want any license tax from TLG - win-win situation! Keep it up LEGO ... and Volvo
  4. I've heard that he confirmed that the color will change - both on the outerior and interior of the car. Nothing about piece count or price though - but it's no big guess that this will have around 3000 pieces.
  5. Where are the box images I posted yesterday? Can you please add them to the first post of the dedicated set threads? Thanks.
  6. Hey all! Below you can find proper box-images of all 2H 2016 Technic sets, presented at Nuremberg Toy Fair. Thanks to zusammengebaut.com! Images are taken from this video @Jim Please update the #1 post of the sets dedicated threads with the main box image, thank you!
  7. I think you can definitely adjust the position of the seats - forward, backward, maybe even up and down??? I'm so so excited for TLG to reveal more about this set, does anyone have an idea when this could be. This set is obviously coming out in August - that's been pretty much confirmed. Also I believe that a piece count of 3000-3300 pieces is VERY likely - I definitely think it will be the 2nd biggest Technic set (BWE > Porsche > Arocs)
  8. I'm hoping for a printed Porsche logo! Like they did with the Mercedes logo in the Arocs set. In general I'm hoping that there will be NO stickers - I hope it's all printed ... but the minimum and a MUST for me is that the Porsche logo is printed!
  9. Hm, ok ... but I honestly think that TLG might want to keep this feature exclusive to the Claas set ... for this year at least. But on the other side if the real Porsche has it, TLG and Porsche sure would want to make sure that this set has this function too. We'll see in a few months - not sure when TLG might unveil the final color scheme including the sets features. Is there a Porsche or special car-event coming soon?
  10. does the real Porsche even have that? they said it's exclusive for Claas set.
  11. zusammengebaut.com must have missunderstood this. The price for BWE is 230 €. The price for the Porsche is rumored with 300 € but nothing has been confirmed just yet.
  12. TLG will do what the real-life counterpart has - so if the real one has boxer engine they use that instead of flat engine! It's a licensed premium set, TLG and Porsche won't do half assed things here.
  13. 1281 pcs I guess it's no big deal to guess that this will have close to 3000 pcs or even more. I mean just look at the difference!!! 8070 is a joke compared to 42056.
  14. LEGO - only the best is good enough
  15. Yes, that's basically what I expected! Great news!
  16. If I look at this picture I'd even go as far as to say that the Porsche set is > BWE > Claas > Volvo. But realistically the Porsche will be around 2600-3100 pieces. I don't think that it will be less than 2500 pieces. Hm, I just noticed that the Porsche logo is completely missing on the car at this stage.
  17. I believe that's an error - will be available in August probably ... or maaaaybeeee it will be a D2C set for March, April, May, June or July???
  18. Very interesting gallery from autobild.de - also the information belowe the images confirms what I've said in my previous post http://www.autobild.de/bilder/porsche-gt3-rs-und-speed-champions-von-lego-8575767.html#bild1
  19. ok, about the color ... this is what autobild.de has to say http://www.autobild.de/artikel/spielwarenmesse-nuernberg-2016-rundgang-8554179.html It seems like LEGO told them a bit more, or we simply haven't heard it yet. The color will indeed be changed, both on the outside and inside as well to mach the real-life Porsche 911 GT3 RS. It will be a very PREMIUM like set and comes with lots of background information about the real-life counterpart. No details about parts count as well as price yet.
  20. Remember that the colors will probably change, not just talking about the main color but about the inside too. But we'll see in the next weeks, months ... Also seatbelts would be cool!
  21. It's strange that we have no picture of the box - the front-side - yet. At least no proper picture.
  22. Hm, to me it looks like you can actually lock the door - that would be pretty amazing!
  23. It seems so at least. For sure we have no idea yet what 2017 might bring us ... but to top 2nd wave of 2016 will be VERY hard if not impossible.
  24. I'm so anxious about the building technices used/introduced with this one-of-a-kind set. Also I believe that the color might change - both the interior and exterior - Promobricks told me yesterday that the car will probably become white mottled. But we can all just speculate for the moment, that's what makes it exciting!
