  1. ^ any info/update about what this Minifigures D2C set will be?
  2. When can we expect more details about this set?
  3. thankfully it is NO joke.
  4. Very excited!
  5. Did he mention other stuff like Technic Porsche or the Creator Expert VW Käfer as well? Can you share a link. Thanks!
  6. wowowowow ... yeah, great news. I'm very excited for this. I really was in fear that we wouldn't get another Creator Expert car this year. Thank god that's not the case. Probably the VIP release will be running from mid July and it will become available for the rest starting August 1st. That's when the other cars were released at least. Can't wait for more news ... 10252 should be the set number (Creator Expert)
  7. I am highly confident that there won't be any powered functions at all, the weight and the size of the car suggests quite a big part count and as the previous poster said, license might cost a bit extra. We will probably get quite a few new parts and the lava-orange might be a totally exclusive color never before seen in Lego and probably only used for this set, means extra costs. I think at certain shops this might be available at 250 € at launch, I'm willing to pay that for sure!
  8. great, finally something new about this set, the only downside ... still 4 months to go ... packaging details: 48 x 37.8 x 15.3 cm Some interesting links ... just compare the weight of the different 2H Technic sets and it might be obvious 42056 comes with some sort of PF stuff? Or it's simply the piece count? 42056 http://shop.swisstoy...oducts_id=19146 42054 http://shop.swisstoy...oducts_id=19144 42053 http://shop.swisstoy...oducts_id=19143 42055 http://shop.swisstoy...oducts_id=19145 Edit: I just saw in the product description that for 42056 there's no mention of batteries, that indicates that this set doesn't come with any PF at all, which honestly I wouldn't mind.
  9. So is a Creator car confirmed for 2016? Also what about the Technic Porsche ... could that be the May exclusive set?
  10. I never thought that the Caterham project would pass the review stage and become the next Ideas set ... AMAZING!!!
  11. When I first saw this project I didn't believe this was made 100% out of LEGO pieces - never seen the big rounded pieces plus the magnets before.
  12. The Rolling BB8 set is fascinating. I'm no Star Wars fan at all but nonetheless this set left me amazed, especially after seeing the short demonstration video. It will hit 10000 supporters by the end of the week ... I'm usually not making assumptions but this has a very very very good chance of passing the review stage and become an official Ideas set. I'd buy it day one!
  13. The Ideas team is working pretty slow in my opinion, we have been waiting for the results to be announced for a long time now ... where is it??? Also what about the Ideas Maze set, I mean come on TLG???
  14. I am impressed, very impressed ... imagine this being the official TLG version.
  15. So it will be revealed tomorrow then? I hope so!
  16. As you were! The official set does indeed use regular LEGO bricks instead of technic ones as used in the original submission ... Very happy about that, although I'm not sure why TLG didn't use tiles on top to make it look better?
  17. Yes, we shall see the official reveal later today. I can't wait, I just wish TLG would have used some tiles on top of the Technic elements, would look a lot better.
  18. Looks great, but didn't someone say it doesn't use technic elements but regular bricks for the walls? I hoped for that because the technic elements really don't look that appealing But other than that great set, can't wait for the reveal today.
  19. Yes, that would be great. I'm especially interested in the Ford F150 Raptor!
  20. Sometimes I don't understand TLG. It takes them a year to announce an Ideas set, after they unveil it's becoming one, that's really not cool. And on top of that they have it somewhere at NYTF but noone is allowed to take pictures of it, even see it???
  21. So when will the press release be published?
  22. Hopefully TLG will unveil more about this set during New York Toy Fair this weekend.
  23. ... sets range from $12.99 to $279.99 - LEGO Technic So the Porsche will be $279.99, but that would only be around 215-230€, so I guess the Bucket Wheel Excavator will be $279.99 and the price for the Porsche is yet to be unveiled. New York Toy Fair 2016 LEGO press release http://www.thebrickfan.com/new-york-toy-fair-2016-starts-this-weekend-and-official-press-release/
  24. Again, we can expect this set to feature everything the real-life Porsche 911 GT3 RS does have. Also, can we expect something new about this set during New York Toy Fair this weekend? Would be great but at least I want a HQ shot of the engine ... hopefully someone will take one.
