  1. Actually this list sounds way more promising and to my preferences than the 1H 2016 set list. Do we???
  2. I agree with you, most interesting set for me ... as far as you can judge from a list
  3. We have yet to see the entire list of 2017 Technic sets ... the big stuff (2H sets) is still unknown
  4. Hm ok, so there will most likely be a printed "#420XX LEGO Technic 40th Anniversary" brick used in all next years Technic sets, maybe license plate for the cars and bike. Air Jet? Below I have listed my favorites from the 1H 2017 sets, the bike could definitely become my favorite after I see the first images ... BMW R 1200 GS Adventure Bike RC Tracked Racer Air Race Jet with PF I expect the parts count for the BMW Adventure Bike will be around 550-600, for the RC Tracked Racer 800-950 and for the Air Race Jet around 1150-1300. So I suppose we'll see the names from the 2H sets over the next days ... hopefully @CM4Sci Just a minor error I noticed in post #1 ... please switch the 2 with the 0. Thanks 402?? BMW R 1200 GS Adventure Bike - 49.99
  5. Great video with superb image quality! Very professional, reminds me of brick builder's videos.
  6. Can someone explain to me what is meant by commemorative brick? Thanks!
  7. hehe, of course it's not. let's hope we get to see the entire list properly soon.
  8. they weren't??? I'm almost 100% certain they were on the list. I remember we argued whether it was only the 1H sets or for entire 2016 because it were so many.
  9. Mostly interested in the Air Race Jet and BMW Adventure Bike. It's interesting that the 2H sets aren't on the list this year. Let's remember they were on this leaked list last year.
  10. So is it normal that the tires rub against the chassis when turning - especially when driving backwards?
  11. Something I noticed today ... it seems that the tires seem to stop a bit when driving backwards - when turning ... is it because of its profile or did I make a building mistake? Also is it normal that the tires seem to be more away from the chassis at ground level than on top (cabin level) - it's hard to explain I know Hopefully someone can answer me that.
  12. Great review for what I believe is the best Technic set not only of 2016 but in the themes 39-year history. I finished the build of bags 1 + counter weight yesterday evening. Took me around 11 hours! actually longer than the Arocs ... and I have yet to build the crane! It's a genious build from start to end which resulted in head shaking moments more or less through the entire building process. Some of the technices used in this model are just very impressive and clever. Kudos to the designer of the CLAAS set! I want more sets like this. Also everything works like a charme ... even the steering is great for me, almost no slack or anything like it, maybe it helps that I only drive on "sharp" surfaces. eg. workdesk etc.. Also great that you can easily turn the cabin back and forth manually. I prefer it over the automatic function. What bothers me is that the steering mode selector at the back needs a lot of force to change - is it just me or does this happen to someone else? I paid a lot of attention when building it ... Thanks and can't wait for the Volvo review.
  13. It is a bit of a letdown indeed ... and yes, way too overpriced. Hopefully LEGO learns from its mistakes and makes a real Ultimate Technic set next time!
  14. The Technic theme sure did NOT disappoint this year: Bucket Wheel Excavator Volvo EW160E Claas Xerion 5000 Trac VC Porsche 911 GT3 RS
  15. Yes, that's exactly what I believe will happen - there will be even better sets released than this year! I expect we'll see a first leaked set list within two weeks or so.
  16. If recent months are anything to go by the reveal should be either Sunday next week or the week after (August 15-21).
  17. I've really chosen the wrong vocabular in this case ... I wanted to write "really interested on what all this praising is about ..." - referring to building technices used inside the chassis , that's it. I've corrected my original post. Thanks!
  18. ^ oh yea Jim, I've chosen the wrong vocabular here .
  19. I've heard this Jim saying already (see quote above) ... will probably build mine this weekend (depending on the weather), really interested on what all this praising is about - but for me it's definitely the star of the entire 2016 Technic lineup. It is very much the perfect set, great price, decent size/parts count, great tires, amazing building technices (3-steering system), great ability to create new attachments that can easily be attached to the Claas (they even mentioned that in the Designers Workshop video), ... Together with the Volvo EW160E my favorite sets of 2016 - both the Volvo and the Claas seem to sell extremely well - they are sold out pretty much everywhere I look.
  20. I'll get mine today, just got the confirmation that it will be delivered in a few hours . Great bargain and fast delivery, couldn't think of any better thing to happen just in time for the weekend.
  21. Michael ... but his surname is not mentioned in the designers video .
  22. Some images from the Technic Designers Workshop video - not yet available on the LEGO youtube channel (probably tomorrow?)
  23. Oh, yeah, hopefully it'll round itself when you put the rims on - otherwise I'm sure LEGO customer service is happy to send you another tire.
