  2. Got into them with son. Had built a complete airport on his bedroom floor. Used colored electrical tape to map out the airport land. MOCed little hangars and some aircraft. Sadly some how most of those sets pieces were accidently left in a house after a move. and not noticed missing until recently when I got back into Lego for myself, and grandkids. I do mostly Technic and Creator for me, City for grandson, and Friends for Granddaughter.
  3. I use an excel spreadsheet as well as Brickset.com. Probably one of the smaller collections on here. 181 different sets, 185 total sets. 79,564 pieces, 311 minifigs (though 99% of those are from sets. only have a handful of CMFs)
  4. A Lego system wide renumbering that happened in 2013 All Lego themes did the same went from a 4 digit set number to a 5 digit. http://brickset.com/article/4076/lego-switches-to-5-digit-numbering-scheme
  5. Not sure where this is. Sure isn't on the website. Definately isn't at any of the 6 stores I happened into went into this weekend.
  6. Some how just bought this set at a store in the USA. Place called Bargain Hunt. Not your normal store. Closeout stuff. I get a lot of Lego sets here, usually damage boxes, sometimes missing a piece here & there. Just thought quite odd, to get a set that is supposedly only sold in Billund, Denmark, was in a store USA. Paid $28 USD which I believe would be the cost if bought in Denmark
  7. Somehow, I got a promotional set, supposedly only officially sold at The Lego House in Billund, Denmark. Set 4000010 "Lego House" From what I can tell it sells there for around $28 USD, and that's what I paid for. Looks like sell upwards $100 USD on eBay. I bought it at a place called Bargain Hunt.
  8. For the price this will cost shipping will be free. At least in US I think anything over $75 USD is free shipping...
  9. My 2 1/2 year old grandson will be playing with this. He plays with most of my other Lego sets as well. Granted I am there with him. He's actually starting to work the Volvo Wheel Loader, and 4X4 Crawler quite well now.
  10. I'm a drag race fan. Lego miss the mark BIG TIME on this one. Probably will only buy this one if I find on a big sale somewhere, then build the B model. It's a tad better, but not by much.. Very disappointed in this set.
  11. Target and Walmart do, but only the smaller Technic sets. (under $40)
  12. Didn't watch the video did we? Operates like the Crawler Crane - 42042. Goes both directions but doesn't turn.
  13. Today's find: 75060 - Star Wars Slave 1 UCS - Lego $199.99. Bargain Hunt $130.00
  14. Don't have to be out to not be a fan. I'm not a fan of any re-boot. now or in the future. Come up with new ideas. Having said that, I do like the set, and will get the car. I have the Ideas Ecto-1, and not a fan of the original Ghostbusters either. Not into fantasy movies...
  15. Fishing line to hooks in ceiling. One fishing line goes from two hooks in the ceiling, it goes through the Black beam which is connected to the battery box switch. the second line goes to two hooks as well, and it goes through the 2 blue beams that make up the dorsal fin just prior to the vertical stab. Even with the 1st line going through the switch beam, if i had batteries in the box, I can still turn the the power on and off.
  16. BWE would look kind of stupid hanging from the ceiling. The Cargo Plane, Fire Plane, and Rescue Helicopter all hang from the ceiling in "flight" for me...
  17. According to the Porsche website. You're out of luck on most of your color choices. White & Silver Metallic are the "standard", no extra charge for either of those two colors. While for $3,140 USD you can pick Lava Orange or Ultraviolet. Does anyone know if there are other colors available outside the US market? As with most, My guess will be Lava Orange, that seems to be the "official" color. That's the only color they show pictures of on the site... I do like your theory for purple (ultraviolet)
  18. Bargain Hunt finds for today... 10245 - Creator, Santa's Workshop. Lego.com $69.99 BH $40.00 41062 - Disney Princess, Elsa's Sparkling Ice Castle Lego.com $39.99 BH $25.00 75106 - Star Wars, Imperial Assault Carrier Lego.com $129.00 BH $60.00
  19. Heard on a news broadcast, One of the summer sets is supposed to have a wheelchair.
  20. Awesome mod's. Might have to do the shorter landing gear mod. Got the same minifigs for my pilots as well. Though I used some Star Wars type helmets that had very conservative printing.
  21. Didn't say we were, just saying there is wildlife around volcanos...

  23. Wow, living in the US, I have NEVER heard it called that, Guess it depends where you are. Some say soda, and some say pop... Speaker shelf(my car has two 6x9's and 10" sub there - factory) Rear deck. are a couple that comes to mind.. A lot of times, the rear speakers there are refered to as "deck" speakers.
  24. Cool will have to play around next time there. Being the 1st of the year and the new set release the place was packed and everyone was trying it.
  25. My local TLS had it when I was in on the 1st, relatively new. Wasn't there the last time I was there. Pretty cool idea. Not my video.
