  1. Well, I need to replace the 12v motor with PF and then it seems I'm missing two windows and the windscreen, but maybe I can find those.. one window frame is missing the glass... :-/
  2. Hmm, it seems like one of the wires were not that good. Now for the big question: Is the power button supposed to Toggle the power on the train, or only power it on, and then it should power off by it self? (Like the remote does..) And we are talking about this baby:
  3. I'm in Denmark, and found some in Portugal.. and some other train stuff in the same store, so it was ok.. ;-)
  4. Great - thinks - found some close by, 4 on the way :-)
  5. The camera has been on may skiing trips and sport activities, so yeah, this is a 'light' job.. ;-) But it's 1080p and the BT hookup to my mobile makes it super easy to see what's happening. Only issue with POV above the trains, is bridges etc, that you suddenly run into.. ;-) And then the fact of high weight up high, making the wagon tilt easily in turns. Maybe if there was some counter weight bricks.. The instructions for my old 7727 have some 2x6x2 bricks that I seems to remember was with weight in them, but I can't find those bricks anymore.. :-/ I'll see if I can create a LXF file of the rig soon..
  6. And a little video:
  7. Hi All, Wanted to use my Contour cameras filming the running train, so had to MOC up a quick camera rig wagon. Here is a bit of pictures for inspiration.. The wagon itself.. LEGO Train Camera Rig wagon 3 by Marook, on Flickr Camera mounted, behind other wagon: LEGO Train Camera Rig wagon 6 by Marook, on Flickr Now, maybe it should be modded to house a camera crew.. ;-) It might need some ballast, as it easily tips over if the train runs too fast in curves.. ;-) And watch out for bridges and tunnels.. ! 8. Hi All, I managed to get a used 7898 set, working just fine, but the power button on the engine does not seem to work, so I have to take out the batteries in order to power down the train, or the batteries drain over a day or so. Any recommendation or pointers if it's possible to repair it? I assume that it's supposed to turn off the power when pressed? Thanks..
  9. Thanks, managed to re-build the 2. & 3. car! BTW: It must be a special danish version, as the stickers says 'DSB'* and not 'DB' as the international version does, as far as I know But someone painted grafitti on it... ;-) LEGO Train 7725 DK 1 by Marook, on Flickr LEGO Train 7725 DK 3 by Marook, on Flickr *DSB = Danske Stats Baner (National Danish Railroads)
  10. Wow! That's a real beauty!
  11. Guess I need to see if I still have all the pieces for mine! Do you have a brick-piece list for the set? I saw the doors yesterday, and the rest should be there.. all but the motors.. :-/
  12. Fans LIKE Minifigs! You can NEVER get enough of them, so that should not be a concern! Anyway, include them now, and if you get support, the process with LEGO will get you through that process/requirements there.. Make it COOL now, and think a bit less of cost right now...
  13. Wow, love it! And I don't mind 'illegal' designs.. ;-)
  14. Looks good!
  15. Kickstarter would be a much better place for that. Maybe talk to the SBrick people about adding it to their store, as they are already in business.. ?
  16. That is one of the Cool things about the SBrick replacement for the IR sensor.. ! Simply reverse the motor in the settings! (And then it has 4 outputs, not 2.. lights on!)
  17. Hi All, Wanted to make one, had to use the bricks available. It's a version of the RailBricks v7 edition with elastic bands to soften the stop if needed. As you will notice, I had some Old Technic parts, that allows for added details, but they don't seem to be available in LDD.. :-/ The details, with parts available there, is here: Spor Bumber 02.lxf More pictures is available here: https://www.flickr.c...157651283746389
  18. He.. it's a lion.. but it was a stuffed one, displayed as laying in the sun, relaxing. It's from Odense Zoo in Denmark, one they had there for years, bit was killed during an internal fight between the animals... sadly.
  19. Very nice! Dimentions 28x8?
  20. Well, yeah, that adds up a bit.. guess shipping is more expensive to the US.. anyway, I was more focused on controlling multiple motors with the same controller , incl. lights. I know about the money issue - it's not fun.. :-/
  21. Have a look at the new https://www.sbrick.com for controlling more than two motors at once.. ;-)
  22. Very nice. For the PF motors, have a look at SBrick! (https://www.sbrick.com) They have 4 outputs, and don't need to be visible, as they are Bluetooth controlled. You can configure each output to be reversed, so controlling multiple PF motors simultaneously is no problem.. ;-)
  23. Wow, that's awesome! Do you have two PF motors in there? Guess that is needed to haul large wagons.. ;-) I see light build in - 2 sets? This would be a great model to add an SBrick controller too.. ;-)
