  1. Lovely idea and concept evancelt! As we've come to expect, you have again used a very pleasing colour palette and the posing of the Onodaga archer is very clever. Nice work!
  2. A glimpse into occupied King's Port - great idea and it makes a nice change from all the action scenes! I like how the colour palette helps convey the peaceful nature of the scene compared to the harsh battle scenes in other MOCs - that was really clever. Hopefully the good people of Terraversa rise up en masse to throw off the shackles of Oleonese tyranny!
  3. I've been waiting for these! I love the sense of movement you managed to capture in the vignette, it really looks like heavy cavalry crashing around! Here is a quick edit I did with the background for the compendium thread. It's not perfect but works for my OCD with the thumbnails.
  4. The simplicity of the landscape I think really helps to accentuate the poignant nature of the scene. I really love the militiamen as well. They prove you don't need to have custom torsos to have brilliant looking Terraversan troops! nice work!
  5. All: although the MRCA deadline is today, the next account sheet will run until the end of the month (31 Oct). So if you want to license a property, you have until the end of the month for it to still be included in this 'turn'.
  6. Nice little prospecting scene Spud. Geologists have examined your samples and the rock face seems to contain some large deposits of salt.
  7. Lovely Puvel! Like I said in the PM, your interior scenes are always a pleasure to behold and this is no exception. The dark green and browns work lovely together and the whole build is so smooth. The fire place is really great as well and I particularly like the use of the microfigs. Definitely a from me for GoC
  8. Great log cabin evancelt! It's really nice to see Elizabethville getting some attention and you can easily see you've done your research with regards to the settlement and it's existing lore. Fantastic job!
  9. Major William Bradley; the commanding officer of the Crown garrison in Mesabi Landing, had long been calling for re-enforcements to keep the WTC in check. Now his calls had been finally answered, yet he seriously wondered if he would have been better off managing without the new arrivals. Firstly, he had no warning that a re-enforced battalion of heavy cavalry were coming. Thus he had no accommodation prepared for the 180 troopers, their horses, support staff and logistics train. Secondly, cavalry? Were high command serious? He'd now have to spend most of his time ensuring some hungry WTC marine didn't make of with a horse to prepare for supper! Or prevently a full on revolt when some arrogant cavalry officer lynched a WTC member for stealing his horse or insulting his honour or... whatever...! For now the new arrivals have set up camp just outside the Crown's fort. Luckily the WTC have seemed somewhat distracted of late, so hopefully he could settle the cavalry in before the real trouble started.... A quick build to raise troops in Mesabi Landing. Troop builds are all the rage these days! But mostly because I just got a shipment of new Brickarms cavalry sabres and wanted to show them off!
  10. Commander Joshua of the Royal Navy @Spud The Viking The Admiralty has confirmed the rank of 'Commander' in the Royal Navy for his services against the Lotii in the New Haven Seas. Commander Joshua can expect to command larger fleets from now on.
  11. As I said in our PM, she's a really beautiful vessel Professor, very sleek and fast looking. Those sails are beautiful and I think really add a lot to the build. The little cabin is a nice addition and I like the lanterns on the stern. I really am very privileged to be her new owner! I'll license her as the Abigail (all of Allcock's ships will start with 'A') and prepare her for her maiden voyage - hopefully those pesky black-flaggers won't take her!
  12. A small guest house for Arlinsport
  13. Each year, patriotic Corlanders take to the streets to celebrate the birthday of Her Royal Highness, Queen Annetta. Last year's celebrations in New Terra included military parades in a number of settlements; and this year is no different. After the recent pirate raid on Stormhaven, defences across most Corlander colonies are being increased. Tiberia, although technically not a colony in New Terra, is a staging point for some of the new troops arriving from the mainland. Brigadier Howe is in Arlinsport to inspect one of the latest arrivals. From a makeshift reviewing platform on the balcony of the guest house the newly arrived regiment's Colonel is staying in, he watches the parade. A troop raising build for Corrington and a continuation of my Queen's Birthday Parade series from last year (link in text above). Thanks to Brickwolf for inspiring me to revisit this style with his Pink House MOC. Maybe one day I will achieve my ambition to have one of these style builds in every Corrie settlement! Arlinsport here makes 7 out of 16 (so not even half way !!) PS Lamp post design shamelessly stolen from Khorne!
  14. Very nice prospecting build CapOnBOBS. The results of all the hard work are now in - Gabriel, Hector and Felix have discovered a rich vein of coal!
  15. Great little factory LM71! I find it quite difficult to come up with good ideas for small factories but this one is perfect. The first thing that jumps out at me is the smoke - I've seen the technique before but have always been on the fence about it's effectiveness - In this build I really like it! The exterior is very smooth (always a for me!) and the pink flowers give a nice splash of colour. Fantastic job and thanks for making Mooreton Bay a City!
  16. Very nice, colourful work Brickwolf. I love how you built in the style of last year's Queen's Birthday parade and that pink is offensively bright - I love it! The overhang really helps lift the build and the lady with the pink hair compliments the building well. Also it's great to see the 95th en masse! I've submitted the paperwork to raise the troops - Your country and Queen thank you Sir!
  17. Fort Coyle repaired after the recent pirate raid and re-licensed under the faction account as a large fort (48x48) fort as per the new (late 2016!) fort rules.
  18. Nice looking column of redcoats Edmund, very nice indeed! The clone brand torsos look nice; but I dislike the clone tricornes! I was very disappointed when I got mine, I've slowly swapped them all out for genuine ones. Great flutist as well!
  19. Fixed
  20. A post office (medium artisan) for Mooreton Bay
  21. Despite initially being one of the fastest growing Corlander settlements in the New World; development in Mooreton Bay significantly slowed when colonies further east in the Prio Seas began to grow. That is not to say that development has ceased and new settlers still arrive in smaller numbers. Recently the Royal Mail has established a formal office in the colony. Here the newly appointed postmaster can be seen leaving to make a local delivery. The influence of Mardierian builders from nearby New Haven can be seen in the newer buildings of the colony such as this post office, with a distinctively more Mardierian style now prevailing. When not on duty, the postmaster likes to relax on his spacious balcony and enjoy a nice beverage while catching the cool sea breeze. Another post office! Initially I thought to make this a guest house/inn, however as it kind of turned out similar to my last post office on Otoño, I decided to run with the postal theme. Then I remembered I once also built a post office in Camp Isaac which also kind of fits the theme. Licensed as a medium artisan for Mooreton Bay.
  22. Thanks all! It's just a print on normal paper that is stuck onto a torso with a glue stick. Simple but effective. My Photoshop skills (or lack thereof) wouldn't be up to the task of modifying it!
  23. Nice to see Commodore Argentum making a return Kai, I look forward to his continuing antics!
  24. Fantastic work Corweena! For me the band steals the show here - brilliant brickbuilt instruments. A great entry - well done!
  25. Nice battle scene Merc, it's not often we get this many soldiers fighting it out in a MOC. I like the TER soldiers with the blue coats. As Khorne notes they are clearly discernible and I'm pretty sure TER soldiers have been portrayed using that torso before (by Elostirion I think). I've often daydreamed that if I was stupidly rich I'd invest in a pad printer and print all the pirate/castle torsos that I think should have been made! Including a range of the classic imperial soldier torsos in all available Lego colours! (except maybe the 500 different pinks.... maybe... )
