Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
BrickSev replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's nice With Imperials do you mean Officers etc in addition to Stormtroopers? It would be very interesting since Imperial officers are not a common sight in most of the armies I saw. Actually even Imperial armies are not very common since most of Lego Star Wars armies are Republic Clone Armies -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13 Rumours and Discussion
BrickSev replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Good luck with your "search for the Hot Guy" Personally I have still to figure out what makes this Minifigure so sought after but if I haven't found it yet I would search for it too in order to complete the collection -

Try actually to be polite instead of making rudeness your life style. Now I'll intentionally skip everything you post lol -

It seems the Super Battle Droids' color slightly change depending on the source (Movies, Clone Wars Series, video games) but the regular Battle Droids are indeed sand red. Regarding the stickers: it's indeed a problematic issue. I know there are many reasons behind the choice of stickers over printed parts but stickers have also are limited durability. All my old sets have their stickers damaged by passing time. Anyway, the new Hailfire droid has no sticker: the disks are printed -
It may not be good for Jar Jar but it is indeed entertaining for us Wookiees are intelligent so their weapons have a safety mechanism. They can hit the Clumsy Creature with the stock first, then even shoot him. We all love Wookiees for that

I guessed it. It was a joke, of course but it could be your dogs play with Ewoks: tell them to use Jar Jar lol Another joke Btw It's indeed always nice to see some Cavalry unit. I hope one day they will release some Battle Pack even for Castle/Fantasy themes. It would be nice to have a Cavalry pack or just two horses and four Minifigures

Is it the leg of an Ewok the one on the right lol? Nice cavalry unit. I miss my Lego horses: I can't find them. They should be among the old Castle stuff I can't find. They must be in some box so one day I'll find them

Well he is always back, though What the Clumsy Creature lacks in intelligence he gets in luck and since it's intelligence is so low lol Btw personally I posted even a couple of non-Jar Jar photos: they were two of the Tie Advanced prototype

I'm waiting for the may the fourth sale too. My Birthday is on May so I should have a good chance to get nice Star Wars sets See you in May, or even around the forums , and May the Brick be with You -
I agree with you. I have bought mine few months ago (I still have to build it: too many sets bought and too little free time ) and I'm thinking about getting another one. Not for "speculation" (even though like you said the price will go up quite a bit) but because it could be interesting to use the second set to "Mod" the first Orthanc, in case I want to increase its size or create so MOC, like some building near the tower, for example

Thank you very much When I put the sets one next other it was like a little "time capsule". It's especially true with the Vulture Droids from the 1999 one to the 2014 version. Things changed a lot in all those years Oh the Blu Super Battle Droids from the first Republic Gunship: how many memories I imagine to younger Lego fans this army may look a bit "ugly" but for AFOL like us looking at those old sets is like a sort of "time travel" Regarding my Clone Army: I have still about 70 Clones to build and most of the older vehicles are in several boxes so it may take few time before I finally find the time to display all together and take some photo but I'll do. I hope to see your army too. 100 Clones are a great number, indeed. Thank you again for your words -

I just took several photos of my Lego Star Wars Separatist/Droid army. I'm not a huge fan of Separatists (I'm still working on a much larger Clone Army) so it's a modest one: 37 Droids (plus Grievous), 20 vehicles and 6 Minifigures. However it contains a couple of old sets dating back to the first years of Lego Star Wars history like the 7111 Droid Fighter and Episode I STAPs Anyway here the photos (about 35 of them ) My Lego Star Wars Separatist Droid Army Feel free to post your comments. I know it's not the biggest droid army but several of those sets have an "emotional value" since they were the first Star Wars sets I bought -
I was looking for 9472 too. I saw it on Amazon but it has a very high price. How much did you pay it? If I may ask

I had very frantic days so I've able only to make a very simply Jar Jar image "Jar Jar Golf" Our Wookiee friends know how to play golf Well I actually make comics and a Mod told me to post mine here and so I'm doing

I know that feeling too. Sometimes I think I'd need a 48 hours day with no need to sleep to do everything I wish I had even several plans about a couple of "Brick Graphic Novels" namely long Brick Comics stories with plot scenery etc but I can't find the time for them. There are those lucky persons who made their hobby their job and so they can spend a lot of time with their bricks

Indeed We are all in the same condition. It is said TLG is paying scientists to not release the cure. Just a joke, of course. I'm not putting our friends at TLG inside conspiracy theories Jokes a part, you have a very impressive collection. Have you ever thought about putting all those Minifigures in some sort of diorama? You could make a breathtaking battle scene with all those Minifigures

If I'm not mistaken the flesh color is used for the "Licensed Themes", right? Personally I have no problem with either the flesh or yellow color. As long as the Minifigure looks cool, it's fine for me

I agree. The Slave I gives us a reason to buy it but I can't find a good one for buying this it. The printed arm on the pilot is a nice detail and the set itself has several nice details as well but they do not seem to justify the cost. There will be indeed so many nice sets and I really doubt this TIE will be on my "to buy list" My UCS Tie Interceptor suffered the same fate of your Vader's Tie. I have the pieces but they are a bit scattered. If you want to rebuild yours you shouldn't have problems if you still have those pieces. I plan to do the same with my Interceptor, one day

Of course neither is better or worse I was just describing my hobby attitudes

I understand you. The cost of this UCS really puzzles me. Once the UCS were known to have a slighter better cost per brick than "standard" Star Wars sets. This TIE fighters costs even more than the recent Slave I. I just saw the Summer SW sets and there are other interesting sets to get

If you are a collector you will never have "enough" lol Trust me on that, I have a vast experience on that

It looks interesting. Very detailed version of the iconic fighter. It's still a Tie fighter, though (so nothing never seen before) and it would off scale with the other fighters, if used with the intention of building a Squadron or fleet. It's Lego, it's Star Wars and it's UCS so it will be still a wonderful addition to any collection. Currently I have more "important" (for me of course ) Lego project but I shall see when it is released

I know what you mean. Even I haven't all the time I wish for building. I have many ongoing projects and not enough time for them

LEGO Star Wars 9492 Tie Fighter - Chewy's 1st Review!
BrickSev replied to Chewybricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I thought you were talking about professional level 4K cameras which cost much more Regarding the quality difference: the "typical user" will rarely notice the difference. Usually users looking for "informative" videos (like reviews) prefer "lighter" files especially if they are looking on mobile ( I know 4G is super fast but users often have a "monthly traffic limit" etc) and even if they have fast connections they will rarely select higher than 720p or 1080p. Their approach changes when it comes to content like video games video footage and similar, then they usually want the maximum definition available. In the Lego context I noticed the highest definition is more sought after when watching a Brickfilm more than a review because it's like they are watching a film. Just my two cents -
Impressive I'm not so "focused" when it comes to Lego projects. I mean I'd prefer to move from one project to another for the sake of variety (otherwise I get bored ) and so I'm never able to assemble such massively sized armies but that means I got vehicles and buildings to counter the lower number of soldiers
