  1. If you really like it, I'd suggest to buy it asap. It is selling fast and beside you won't lose many "bonus VIP points" so it is a reasonable "price" for getting it sooner
  2. In Europe they are still available but I gave a look at US site and even the Quinjet is on backorder. It seems in the USA those sets had the "Slave I effect", they sell very fast. In my country they didn't even make into the daily best selling sets. People here are buying the new pirate sets more than the wonderful Avengers sets. I'm very puzzled
  3. I bought 3 more boxes Senate Commando Troopers, one should arrive soon and 3 other within a couple of days. This will bring my Senate Commandos to 36 units Truly impressive indeed. Too sad I missed it when it was released (I was away from hobby) and now I can find it only at very expensive prices. Anyway, you found a wonderful addition to your collection
  4. Honestly I had the same idea. I was thinking about combining two (or even 3 ) of them but I decided to buy one first, built it and if the interior is of my liking I'll buy another too. I may be wrong, but I think you can easily add the second tower even after you built the first
  5. The Hulkbuster finally appeared on Lego site and so I placed my order. I ordered one of every set minus the Hydra Fortress. Since it's a bit "overpriced" I plan to order it when Lego will offer the double points promotion, so at least I can "mitigate" a little the impact of its overpricing
  6. That's very similar to what I was thinking about when I mentioned "High Elves". Great work, indeed
  7. Well I'm not married so... lol I just have a very special person and, of course, she is more important than any hobby but this is not a thing relevant to the topic I'm sure some of them will be able to do it. Personally I'm not a fan of decals but I recognize there are circumstances where they can be very useful
  8. I'm glad it helped Sadly the old Quinjet was released when I was away from the Lego hobby so I missed it but I'll buy the new one for sure. I would have already ordered it if it wasn't for the Hulkbuster problem on the Lego site. Anyway from the videos of the new Quinjet I saw it looks a truly amazing set
  9. I don't want to act like a mini-mod lol but shouldn't such discussions happen in other places? I just say that because they tend to add more text to the thread making more difficult to users to read the posts related to the topic. Just my two cents
  10. I don't know the size the the old one but this is what Lego site says about the current one: 3” (9cm) high, 10” (26cm) long and 16” (41cm) wide. I hope it helps
  11. Great collection indeed and displayed in a very "Star Wars styled" room. Well done Very nice. An interesting way to solve the "Imperial Transport scale issue"
  12. I'll try to give a look at shops where I live but since I wanted to order a couple of sets that are Lego shop exclusives I planned to put all in single order and save on shipping cost I read but is it confirmed it won't create "issues" during the dispatch of the order? I read sometimes it works, sometimes not. In any case thanks for the suggestion
  13. I always like the idea of new themes. My wallet likes it less lol but I do like to see more exciting themes so I would sign it too
  14. Actually it's 1st March even in my country and I checked ANY European section of the site but no trace of it. Perhaps the fact your ordered it means they are updating the site and they set will be available to everyone soon. I noticed the same thing with the DC Super Heroes sets on January. It took nearly 5 days to become "fully available". I hope this time they will be faster
  15. Great review The set looks amazing and I can't wait to get it. Sadly it didn't appear on any European "section" of Lego set. There are all of them, except this and the "Hydra Fortress". Btw as soon as I have the chance the Hulkbuster will be a "must buy" for me
  16. I was so excited to finally order the new Avengers sets but I noticed the Hulkbuster is not available on Lego Shop site in any European country :( Does anyone know if the set will released soon or not? I'd like to order the sets before they go into the "backorder" status but it would be annoying if I place the order and the next day the Hulkbuster appear on site. Thank you for any info
  17. Interesting theory. However we must consider the fact "Tan" is indeed a very popular color. There have been many persons requiring the "tan baseplate" because it's actually very useful even outside Wild West or Pirate themes. Star Wars or other Sci-Fi desert planets or any modern desert. There is not a single theme where a tan baseplate won't be of some use Anyway I hope you're right and that we'll get a Wild West theme. I'm always happy when cool new themes are released
  18. I think it's from Season 3, Episode 4; when Republic forces under Anakin and Obi-Wan's command investigate the fate of the "pacifist colony" invaded by the Separatists. I'm not a fan of the droids, too. I just got most the one I have as result of buying sets for the Clone Army Minifigures and vehicles
  19. I bought it a couple of months before it went sold out on Lego shop and it is indeed an amazing set. Phase 2 Rex is one of the best Clone Trooper Minifigures and the speeder's likeness to the Tv series' one is impressive. My regret is to have bought only one. It also comes with two Commando Droids and another speeder
  20. It's an impressive number I know, feeling many bags is boring. Regarding the weapons: I too think other weapons would look better on the Goblin but even those from LOTR had the "scimitar" so I guess at Lego they consider it the "signature weapon" of Goblins
  21. It's not enough! We should throw it into some star, just to be sure the Clumsy Creature's luck does not save him again. Now I've got a little idea: more suffering will come soon for Jar Jar Btw, congratulations for your new images. I always liked R2: he knows how to do the right thing
  22. I haven't followed all the rumors (just watched the trailer) but I guess if they plan to make a trilogy at some point the Alliance to Restore the Republic will have to become the New Republic... at some point
  23. If you plan to buy directly from Lego, joining the VIP program is a must. You can get very interesting discounts just with the points you earn and the promotional set/Minifigures are always high valuable. They are the only sets I often think twice before opening and most of them are still unopened. I admit it's mostly because I didn't need them for any ongoing project and so I decided to keep them unopened
  24. The Mandalorian speeder is sold out but I saw it at decent prices around, so I may give it a look. Thank you for the advice The Executive Shuttle would be perfect. If I only had the time to focus on MOCs. Perhaps in the future I agree on the "Worf Effect". They are also used to show how "badass" our heroes are Sadly another set released when I was away from the hobby. I haven't seen it at a reasonable price but I can keep looking. Thank you for the suggestion Well, that would be interesting. If I remember correctly the New Republic had a white/beige uniform with green helmet and green cape. At least that was their appearance in the Wizard of the Coast Star Wars miniature game from several years ago. Perhaps starting with some Rebel trooper, looking for additional pieces and then adding the cape could be a start. It would be a very original army to build. However it's possible in the new movies they will wear completely different uniforms and it's even possible we'll get some official Minifigure
  25. I finally begun to built the Ultra Copter and it is amazing Btw the Ultra Agents sets are amazing on their own but has anyone else noticed they can be perfect to represent S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicles from the Marvel universe as well? The color schemes and the design seem perfect for that purpose
