  1. very nice, i was able to replicate this gearing on my red version of the ball factory some years ago, from memory, i used a 12 tooth black bevel and an tan bevel in the gap bettween the two technic bricks
  2. same, im waiting for his next masterpiece, i still have quite a few other modules of his i need to build too or should i say rebuild
  3. greetings all, i have recently been testing these colorful GBC balls in my Akiyuki modules, and so far they have worked great in invisible lift, ball factory, zig zag lift, tilted rotors, cup to cup, stuck ball lifter. they are slightly smaller then the lego balls which i thought was going to affect the performance of some modules but it looks like its ok. i dont have strain wave or cycloid so i cant test them in these modules. heres a link to where i got them from. they are very affordable https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002436311103.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.5eb74c4dwW70MJ
  4. it looks like they support the grey bevel gear housing to stop it moving around. you can see the one next to it also has one, i think its a 1x5 L liftarm in between those two 1x4 technic bricks
  5. are you thinking of selling it? would love to add it to my collection of 9v stuff
  6. this one one of the many reasons why i switched to the mouldking motors and the unbranded generic pf motors for my GBCs, i think lego have shot themselves in the foot with this new system
  7. very nice, this is one of my favorite modules and i always take it to all the shows i go to
  8. no worries, i couldnt see any markings but i didnt pay to much attention to that part when i was taking the photos, these are both the Mouldking M and L which are made by GOBRICKS, so far the motors have been running fine in my GBCs with no issues
  9. @dr_spock heres the photos https://bricksafe.com/pages/gbcbuilder/fake-lego-pf-motors
  10. i brought a copy of the fake 8878 rechargeable battery box, and it works good, heres a video of it working
  11. i have added some more modules today including the Ball factory V3 on the front page of this project, i will keep working on more instructions and add them as i go
  12. @Courbet do you have a render of the Steering cup module? i want to add it to the front page of the project
  13. i have a question, what sort of overload protection will it have? i ask because i have been testing Chinese pf motors in my GBCs and only the Motors from GOBRICKS/mouldking have some sort of yellow overload protection on them as i have opened them up myself. also what sort of current will this motor draw?
  14. very nice, i see you also changed the yellow shocks for black ones
  15. greetings all, i have been given permission to update the front page, if you have any modules you think should be added let me know, i plan to ad a section for @Berthil and @FernandoQ modules as i feel they were very inspired by this project
  16. @Ankoku are you still updating the front page of this project? its a little bit out of date now, the compact spiral lift has instructions which are ready to put up
  17. thanks, i build all my modules from new parts only, so it took a while to get it running smoothly
  18. i finally finished my new invisible lift build, it works very well once timed correctly. i set this little layout up today to test along with the v2 stuck ball lift and Berthils ball factory v3. im also testing some lego compatible motors from GOBRICKS/ mouldking and im please to report they are fantastic and even better than lego pf motors.
  19. another fantastic module, while i wont be building this one, there are some really nice techniques in it.
  20. @rskamen do you have any photos of your v3 ball factory?
  21. i have been following this for a while and bit the bullet and brought some of the mouldking motors, and im very impressed with the quality, the internal motors are built better than the lego ones especially the M motors, i have taken photos of the internal motors and will post on my bricksafe, i have already brought more of them, and some other gbc builders are doing the same as me.
  22. interesting, thanks for the update, did you happen to make a file for the invisible lift by any chance? i would love to see a video of your one running
  23. @Ankoku this might interest you, it is the last time akiyuki had the invisible lift on public display
  24. i just brought the parts for the rebuild of the invisible lift module after seeing @Berthils first video of this module @plingboot did you ever finish your version of this module?
  25. while we are on the subject of akiyukifying modules, i had an idea of doing this to @torsos cardan lift module, i love all the gears on this one, and i think it would look great in a frame
