  1. ^I think you could replace the old 2x4x3 frame for the newer and cheaper 4584888.
  2. Handcuffs on the bed... very nice touch :)
  3. I just don't get what Lego have done with this new Toy shop. Doesn't fit with last year Cafe & Bike Shop, wich, IMO, was a very nice set. The Toy Shop looks ugly, small, thin, uncomplete... Beach house is just... well... not their finest work.
  4. Thanks for your answer, LegoDr. Yeah, I agree groove bricks add detailing, and sure, it's more appealling that way, but I'm confident that sand green groove bricks will reappear sooner or later. Plan B could be switch the plain bricks for the groove ones after building little by little if TLG don't bring them back. I just need to build GG... :)
  5. Astonishing. Love the black water, very clever.
  6. I love this. Great work on foliage.
  7. About bricklinking GG: I'm thinking in replacing the crazy expensive 1x2 sand green groove bricks for the more traditional plain 1x2 sand green bricks. The difference between these two (you need 50 of them for the GG) is saving 80/90€! Eventually, I could switch to the groove ones if they come back in any newer set. Has anyone tried this? What do you think?
  8. Just woke up. This made me laugh so hard.
  9. Has anyone tried to include the fountain into a city/modular layout? It looks like the in minifig scale could fit it well...

    Lighthouse

This is great, Serpico. It reminds me to the Torre de Hércules, from La Coruña. Impressive layout.
  11. ^Thanks. Yeah, I loved this set from the begining. I really like the idea of a fair in my city layout. Besides, I'm sure there will be new additions from TLG in future years, so I didn't want to miss this one. I guess my bricklinked CC will have to wait a little bit longer :(
  12. I finallly pull the trigger on this yesterday on the last day of 2XVIP points. Now, I need the Winter Carousel...arrrghhh, this is endless...
  13. New tower fits perfect! Outstanding work, congratulations.
  14. Liars - Mess Incredible album. Amazing band. I saw them last night performing live and they were great.
  15. Well, the winner does not look like a selfie to me. And that idea of a kid's head is... just horrible. Yours is great.
  16. GE is back at Lego European Shop. Grab it while you can.
  17. This is perfect. TLG, now you know what to do. No more red Fire Stations, please!
  18. You're welcome. About the first floor: I don't remember where the main door was located in the Octan Building from the movie, but I would suggest you to build a huge (double) brick built door in the center of the floor. I think that will give a more intimidating look to the building. I'll be watching for new updates. Greetings from Spain! PS. (maybe you should create a new thread for this project, I think we're hijacking this one...)
  19. ^Yeah, it's a reference from the movie. Metalbeard disguises as a copy machine in one of the floors of the Octan building. It ended up with a couple of robots photocopying their butts. It's a pretty funny sequence.
  20. Hi Alex! I'm from Spain, too. Disfruta, hay mucho que descubrir en Eurobricks!
  21. @Blakstone, @Robert8, 8bBrickMario, thanks for your answers. I will grab some of these plus several pig suit guys as well.
  22. ^Fantastic! That's the answer I was waiting for. First floor looks a bit odd to me, I think it should be higher than the upper floors, or at least the same height. The street level floor of this kind of buildings/skyscrapers typically are very tall ones. Just my humble opinion. Anyway, great job, Rockethead, can't wait to see this finished. I guess you'll include a copy machine...
  23. ^ Thanks CisFran, I've never seen before the Power Functions category.
