You're welcome, OTW. I guess you're thinking of something closer to this:
-
And with three sets you could expand it a little more.
-
It would look something like this:

^Sounds good, but I'm afraid that waiting until 5th January could mean finding that DO is temporarily out of stock. That would be very disappointing.

Hi, Sven. Thank you very much for your reply/picture. As you said, if you think of Trevi Fountain, it's obviously out of scale. But I was thinking more of a generic fountain placed against a wall in a square I have planned for my city. It doesn't look that bad to me, I think that it could work with little MOD, maybe making it taller. So, another set in my wishlist... Thanks again for your help, have a nice day!

REVIEW: 71008 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 13
Gongoro73 replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, I think every CMF ever produced fits into city themes if you set your city display during Carnival. Or you can MOD the GE to make a huge Costumes Shop.- 104 replies

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I agree. For me, DO has been a disappointment. The buildings are nicely rendered and, as always, there are some clever techniques. It's a very good set, but, as others have said, I see a departure to a more childish territory. I couldn't care less about the storyline, I just don't need it. I'm with Off the Wall here. It's OK? Yes, of course. Jamie is a great designer. It's mindblowing? Not for me. I had high hopes on this, I was expecting a masterpiece, a darker set based on a film-noir style, very adult oriented, but instead, we have the more colorful building of the entire series. Seems odd. You just have to watch the video to see Jamie enjoying like a child with all the play features. I would have preferred advanced architecture developments instead of candy prohibition stories. I will buy it, but I'm not fond of the path TLG has taken on this. Let's see how it evolves in future releases. PS. I miss Off the Wall in DO's thread. -
^Actually, Parisian Restaurant had the street lamp raised as well.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

When you think you've finished... It has just started. -
Excellent. The bottom floor is amazing, the best part IMO. The whole building and interior details are superb, although it ended up looking so different from bilbao architecture, indeed ;)
