Yes! I think this the nicest Christmas LEGO give away I have received. Andy D

Sitting at my build desk in a swivel desk chair. If I made it to the floor I would never be able to get up again. #olderthandirt Andy D

Very, very nice. These micro builds are instantly recognizable. Will you create multiples of each of these? Or is this a single set for your tree? Andy D

There is a wonderful thread here about storage solutions. I have come to a conclusion that I either organize or I don't, there is no middle ground. Once you start organizing it can (for me it did) become an all consuming endeavor I have come to the conclusion that LEGO is as much a hobby about sorting as it is about building. everyone's storage solution will be slightly different I have settled on a solution that (mostly) works for me. I just want to know where a particular type of piece would be, if I have one (or many). Take a look at this thread It has some great ideas. good luck, Andy D

Th Gyrocopter is a nice little set, (little). The first of the new batch that does not include the new worm gear, oh well, at least the other three have it. I like the rotor functions, however like you I think the rotors should move when I is rolled on the wheels. Thanks for all the great reviews, I may not buy them all, but I still enjoy the reviews and I usually learn something from watching. Andy D

This is a very nice Nativity! Just the right amount of detail, not too much, not too little. The background really ads to the overall display. Thanks for sharing, Andy D

I just built the 40223 Snow Globe. I am quite impressed... It is a great set, but it also includes some very nice parts, like the dark red brick-bricks and the clear cylinder pieces and the clear radar antenna (Snow Globe top). So impressed that I just bought 2 more on eBay for the nice collection of parts, my Snow Globe will not be used for parts, so I had to buy more. oh yeah, I forgot it also includes a very generous supply of spare/replacement parts! I can see your point here. I was thinking the same thing as I was watching the review. The Container yYard set appears to have more functionality than the Roadwork Crew set. I guess the part count is similar, but many of the parts in the Roadwork Crew are the track links, which don't really add that much to the set. I can also understand how one could not be as excited about a 300 piece set compared to a 3,000 piece set. I feel the same way. One thing I did notice is that all the new sets you reviewed have the new worm gear, nice to have such a nice useful part available in small sets. @sariel ... Keep up you fine reviews! I have never been disappointed with a review, only disappointed with some sets, but your reviews help me decide what to purchase. Yes, I also enjoy the hamsters, but I also understand why some sets just do not lend themselves to a full hamster review as hamsters may not enjoy all sets enough to tear themselves away from napping and other important hamster activities. Thanks again, Andy D

Good choice! I did not realize it was still available, lots of nice parts. You might put it together once before using it for parts. Andy D

Great review on the 42062! Now I just need to resist buying everything I see. BTW: Did you video the speed build for the 360 at the same time or separately? I looked at the camera rig (the 360fly 4K) and it is way cool. Like a 360 degree GoPro. Andy D

I agree, very cool! But you have to watch tablet position or the video moves... Very cool! BTW: @sariel... What kind of camera rig do you use to video this? Andy D

Looks micro to me. Very nice! Andy D

Very nice telehandler review. It looks like a nice set. I was not planning on any of the 1st half sets, but this one may come home with me. I'll wait and see for the others. Thanks for a very thorough review (too bad it's not a hamster friendly vehicle). Looking forward to the other reviews. Andy D

Santa needs help

The GBC models made from the 42042 and 42054 from PV look really good to me. I just bought another 42054 in anticipation of getting the instructions for PV's GBC instructions. PV has a combo deal in the $30 price range that looks real good and includes GBC modules for both the 42042 and the 42054. Merry Christmas, Andy D -
I think sets are your best option. Buying parts individually is more expensive than when you buy a set. I would recommend looking at the currently available sets from LEGO and on Amazon. Then go to Bricklink to see what parts are in the set, then choose the set(s) that have most of the parts you are seeking. You should be able to find most of the parts for which you are looking, then Bricklink only a few special parts that may not be in the sets. you can get some real bargains on Amazon, I recently got a CLAAS for $130, $50 off retail, 6.5 cents per part, lots of beams axels and gears. i just checked and right now the BWE is available for $240, that's $40 off retail an almost 4000 parts, lots of useful parts! Am I the only one who just got it? Oh, the huge manatee! Maybe CopMike is hinting that we are getting a crashing air ship. Andy D

Thanks CopMike! The X-Mas raffle is always fun! This year is really special with the huge manatee as a prize. I can hardly contain myself. Thanks again, Andy D

Well, then maybe that is not the best place for me to buy instructions. Thanks anyway. Andy D -

Only online viewing of the instructions? My internet connection is not always reliable. Andy D -
Bravo! I really like this, especially the building. So many features! I would buy instructions. Andy D
