terryfay1983 replied to play0909's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Lol random just found u in Flickr too. Did you use a black or yellow cape? Black hands Def looks better imo -
unless i win the lottery i wont be ever (allowed) to by the official comic con figures so custom printed ones will do me just fine as long as all parts were lego.

Ditto.. this is ultimately what I'm buying my lego for anyway, yes I enjoying building it all now, but I want to pass it all on to my kids in the future.

Would you open 34 years old MISB Lego?
terryfay1983 replied to MaasEffekt's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's a tough one, but mainly depends on what you want to do with it, as said above .if you want to sell it on then No don't open it. I've also kept some sealed poly bags just incase in the future some maybe offering good money, but then I've also already got the same one opened in my collection -
Didn't think so...need to stop hording stuff, in the bin they go
-
I'm going through sorting out my collection ready to move house and I've collected all the poly bags that I've opened and kept them all together, do I need them tho? I'm never gonna put the figures back in them.. What about you guy? Do you keep them?

I gave my 3 year old niece her first minifigure on Monday.. She loves it. And she always asks to play with my collection.. (maybe one day) Even tho she is too young for lego she already has a interest into it.. Which I will help along in the coming years. I can't see lego fading out at all in the next few generations. But then technology is growing also. So it is really hard to tell. Proper contradicted myself there.. Plonker.

I can't see TLG being too worried about someone taking hours to 3d print a couple of bricks.. The time + effort outweighs the end result. As said above tho..accessories now that's fine lol

This is very impressive. I wonder how long it took you to get this this good. Reminds me a bit of a end of the world shelter designed by some very rich person. Love the lift aswell
