  1. Is possible to have an idea about when will available the "public" option on the profiles? Thanks
  2. I already had lots of problems with 13 studs...I can't imagine at 9!
  3. After the Zblj's video, I have to say that this device is really interesting.
  4. Like already said on youtube, awesome MOC! Your works amaze me every time! I was looking to an application of this wheels, you found the perfect one!
  5. I really like the scanner light and the KARR version...well, I don't really like KARR, but I like that you built it!
  6. My order status is something like "pending availability", but the set is sortable with expected delivery date for the 8th July. I just contacted the Italian customer service and they told me that the delivery of my order is programmed for the 6th July. So I think that there is a little misalignment between the site and the real state of things.
  7. This is great! Lots of function packed in a accurate shape!...like always! I like a lot the possibility to choose the axles that you like more.
  8. Great MOC! I look forward the video too!
  9. ...I should consider smaller MOC for the future! Something between 5500 and 5600 parts.
  10. For whom is interested I have some good news. I finished the ldraw file. It's a draft version and I have to do all the steps sequence, but things are progressing!!
  11. I think that the accuracy of mechanics already worth the existence of this MOC, even if it will stand on a shelf without LPE or PF motors.
  12. Well, I done my experience and I learned something new...basically they make only increase the volume that should be filled (at least in my case)...but it cost me a small fortune! In extension the movements are even too much smooth! the problem is in contractions, when force of gravity shows its power ...I was thinking to strangle those hoses to limit the flux, but it does not seem very elegant.....or maybe a discarge circuit.
  13. Yeah! It performs really well! You only need a beach!
  14. I was proud of the crane, there are 6 M motors that actuated 6 pneumatic valves, 2 L motor for rotating it and for the winch, 4 IR reciever a battery pack and 2 air tanks...everything packed in a relatively small room....pity that it doesn't work properly. It's really hard to control the descent of the arms (actually it's more a ruinous fall than a descent) and the 2 air tanks degrade performance rather than improve them. Also the stabilizers .... don't stabilize that much. Thanks! I started to put something in Bricksmith yesterday night, but it will be a long work. Reading between the lines...That means that I have to find a way to fix the crane? Thanks! It's not in a good position to take better pics than what you saw in the video....but it's really similar to the one that I used on my ACT...and probably it's the only thing that work like the real one.
  15. I uploaded the "behind the MOC" video. I hope that you like and that you will find answers to your questions!
  16. I'm a bit late to the party...I hope you get well soon and I give a vote to the 8880 ...never have one and,at the time I was particularly envious of my classmate that had one... Anyway,if you need anything to distract yourself, and since you like Mini...well, check what this 2 guys are doing:
  17. It looks gorgeous! Now I'm curious to see how it performs. Anyway, I prefer glossy rims with stickers...it gives a custom touch.
  18. I'm waiting to see your MAN finished with the crane in a video...I'm really curious...
  19. I like what I built,if not, this MOC would not be here, but I also know that it's far from perfection ...there are lots of things that are different from the reality, I just asked to know what in particular, so I could share my experience and explain my choices. The ball joints are obviously one of those things. Assuming that everything can be improved and this MOC isn't an exception....to recreate how the real thing works I have to use a sliding transmission shaft. I know 2 ways to do that in Lego, the first with CV joints, but it will be too weak for this scale (and weight), the other one using 4185 parts, but thats will be too bulky. I never used the leaf springs on the front axles for difficulty to arrange something with the steering system on them. The first prototype had a linkage system for steering instead 2 Servo motors, but, probably always due to the weight, there was too much backlash, so I quitted this solution. I bet that you can arrange something better!! I haven't, but a baby will come in August..
  20. That seems to be a good solution, not sure if that is applicable to my MOC easily but it's really interesting. The most for the different shape of the model, the "pillar" of the 1st axle would be out in front of the front bumper. After that, the chassis over the 1st axle is a filled with pneumatic pumps and the winch.
  21. Wow, Great performances! This will be the 3rd of yours MOCs that I built!
  22. Yes, I tried different solution and the best that I found is what you saw in the video, but that doesn't mean that it isn't improvable. I bet that someone will find a better solution. My first MOC was something really ugly. I'm not speaking about the first truck on my Mocpages...it's ugly but not so ugly, it was not published and never will be! With a bit of practice you will reach my skill quickly. Ok, you've discovered my trick, but you could send me a PM instead unmask me in public. Thanks a lot for the tag, it's really unexpected!...About the title, I guess to know who did....that's happens when you try to be funny!
  23. Well, it's thinked for MODs, but I have the suspect that we have two different point of view about what means MOD!
  24. I thought about this solution, I had seen the idea of Efferman, unfortunately there wasn't enough room. But it would be a good solution. Also, have an air pump and not use it would be a bit of a waste. I agree with you, even if I think that it could be 1-2 studs higher instead of 1-2 narrower....but when I tried it looks a bit odd to my eyes.
  25. ...and also the introduction. It will never happen, I have too much complexes to be self-assured, I need to build big!! Jokes apart, building small would be more challenging for me. It could sounds odd, but Arocs apart, I spend around 50€ in Bricklink orders, considering that most of them have a minimum price per order. The last order (10€) was for the 4 small rims of the 1st and 2nd axle, because the 4 that I already had were yellowish. What I mean is that if you have already the TT or the ACT, you probably already have most of the parts you need. You have to wait....and I can't do previsions. If it's only this, it's gone better than I thought! Can I ask you to be more precise? Yes it is a bit. It's possible to change (for now, since for instructions I have to correct a couple of things and after that it will be not possible) the gears easily and make it faster....but then it will be not able to climb over a sheet.
