    I personally don't mind the swing-open dollhouse style offered by the Haunted House and the Simpsons House, but any buildings without backs, logical access to all floors and a sensible amount of space inside just bug me. If I buy anything without a back, I'd have to modularise it before adding it to my city. It looks like it does have a back wall from all the pictures included in the page. The interior shot was taken by halving the building lengthwise, and you can see the back walls there

    Love this so much! I'd happily buy it if it was ever available for sale. Perhaps you would consider providing instructions at some point in the future?

    I'd prefer a 4-in-1 set, containing the Bus Station, Bakery Shop, Barber Shop and Beauty Saloon. Maybe even a Book Shop thrown in for good measure.

    Went to a departmental store that had Lego, felt my way through a newly opened box for about 10 minutes and found 2 squishy packs so got both. Thanks to everyone for the hints! Now I have a pair of creepy twins for my Haunted House! :D

    I have the FB, GE, PS, TH and PR as well as the HH, all bought this year, so my wallet definitely needs a break. Here's to hoping the PC stays available for a while, and the DA gets discounted. Recently bricklinked a couple of grand pianos for friends' birthday presents as well. No current plans of bricklinking CC or MS because they never quite captured my attention, but will definitely work on GG one day.

    Oh thanks for the hint! I've been feeling for the teddy bear but because I've never seen or held a Lego teddy bear in real life, I can't figure out what it's supposed to feel like.

    The store I went to was exhibiting at a Lego show, so their stuff was pretty much spread around on tables in a room, and the minifigures were next to the counter, but about 90 degrees to it on a separate table, so while the cashiers were directly next to the display, they didn't notice until they looked around. It's quite a large toy store though so I didn't think they'd mind at first. I'll try to hunt from different stores, and see what I can find. I wish there were helpful storepeople who'd be willing to do the hunting for you. This is my first time trying to feel for minifigures, and I have to admit that I'm either not very good at it, or someone has bought all the Spooky Girls in the box.

    Was feeling for minifigures at a Lego show recently, and got told off by a kid who seemed to be helping/working there, saying that I wasn't supposed to do that, and the older guy (thirties maybe?) at the cashier backed him up, so I left without buying anything. I know that in a sense they're right to say that people shouldn't be feeling for contents of blind bags, but I got a bit annoyed at the air of superiority, when I was merely asking the older guy if he had any experience feeling for minifigures. Really want the Spooky Girl but I can't afford to buy the entire box or just buy random packs until I get her. Maybe I should find a friendlier store, or one that doesn't attempt to judge and shame customers..

    So I'm looking for a couple of 16x32 baseplates in grey or tan (or even 4 16x16 if these are available). Any suggestions on where I could find these at an affordable cost? I looked on Bricklink and eBay but there are shipping costs to contend with. Is there anywhere/anyone local selling these?

    I got my Haunted House during the 2x VIP points promotion, but I made my order at the stroke of midnight on the 1st of October out of desperation and fear that it won't be coming back. Annoyingly, it was still available for about 10 days after that, but then disappeared again. I'm curious though; some products are labelled as 'Retired' like the FB in the US, but others like the GE and TH are labelled as 'Sold Out'. Do these labels mean the same thing? I've also noticed that the FB has now been completely removed from the NZ Shop@Home, but the GE and TH are still there (albeit listed as 'Sold Out'). Does it mean that non-US Shop@Homes delete retired products whereas the US one simply labels them as 'Retired'?

    Is it cheap? If it is then it's an excellent time to get one, although you might not be able to sell it for as high a price if the box is damaged.
