  1. Or maybe just a budget decision. Since they decided to release two movies relatively rapidly, shave off a few dollars of production by not producing two exclusive figures.
  2. Just saw a trailer for another Lego DC animated film: "Aquaman: Rage of Atlantis" or something like it, and it heavily featured the Jessica Cruz Green Lantern we saw leaked a while back. I bet that's where we'll get her.
  3. Yes, absolutely. Shirley Walker's classic tunes from Batman: Mask of the Phantasm are appropriately moody and beautiful, often at the same time. Batman: Under the Red Hood has a fitting score, especially the main theme, which feels incredibly sorrowful before building up to a more dramatic leitmotif. Wonder Woman's is heavily ancient-Greek styled. And Batman: Assault On Arkham had a rather fun and upbeat montage song for introducing the villains: my particular favorite part is when it switches to a quick theme for KGBeast (you'll know it when you hear it). Really, all of them have some strong merits to them, even when if the movie it came from was one of the weaker ones.
  4. I have been debating buying a custom Batwoman for some time-- super glad I didn't now! I'm sooo glad to see the Rebirth Batman is appearing again; it's about time we had a new "standard" fig as I have way too many black suited and New 52 Batsuits. The Talons are perfect; I'll be tempted to get several more for an army. And Ace is looking rather fun too. While the Bat elements seem odd for play functions, I bet they'll be useful in MOCs.
  5. Of course, in Killer Moth's defense, Killer Moth would be the kind of guy to hold TLG hostage until they released 3 versions of him.
  6. I guess that could make sense for some people.
  7. Random question, to people who enjoy these types of April Fools "pranks": What about it ends up being appealing? Maybe I'm just boring and crotchety (likeliest possibility), but I see everyone posting fake items that I simply don't fall for. Is there an appeal I'm missing? I try not to complain about other people having fun just because I don't get it, but I really don't get this concept.
  8. Funko POPs mostly. I like action figures, but they're harder to display, and usually don't have the exact styles I want (basically just 300000 variants of Deadshot, please), so I don't tend to collect them anymore.
  9. My tinnitus. I'm listening to my tinnitus and it is horrible.
  10. I definitely like the in-game designs a lot more than the physical figure designs.
  11. You should add some screenshots. I'd love to see stuff as it progresses!
  12. I'm not a fan of the physical figs, but these in-game figures are spot on. Can't wait to check the game out.
  13. Just watched Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay. One of the better DC animated films in a while. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  14. Lots of 'em. To name a few, DC Comics, Aliens, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Dead Space, Breaking Bad, the Lego adaptation games, The Last of Us, Mortal Kombat, the Arkhamverse, Injustice, the DCEU, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Gravity Falls, "classic" Spongebob (the first three seasons), Fallout, Preacher (the comic, I've not watched the show yet), the Arrowverse (yes, all of it), and so on. Now, to name specific DC comics themselves (because it's kind of my thing), there's Batman and all he entails, Justice Society of America (Geoff John's run especially), Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol, Secret Six, Suicide Squad, Deathstroke, Red Hood and the Outlaws (post-Rebirth, I wasn't too fond of it before), Wonder Woman, Superman, Aquaman, Black Lightning, Manhunter ('70s Paul Kirk and Kate Spencer), Swamp Thing, Seven Soldiers of Victory, and Legion of Superheroes, to name far more than just a few.
  15. Well, confirmed is a better word choice, I suppose. Based on previous years, if Incredibles is released near the movie (June), this one would probably be October or November, if I had to guess.
  16. Now that Incredibles 2 is announced, it pretty much cements this one as happening, since they were leaked by the same source. Now we wait and listen.
  17. Seems more likely than her with the villains game.
  18. I remember I was super skeptical when Lego Batman 2 was going to include voice acting and a "real" plot (more in-depth is probably a better way to put it). I was, obviously, quite pleased with it. I got suuuuuper hyped for LB3, and here I am again, with my hype levels OFF THE RAILS and it hasn't even been announced yet. I'm gonna flip when we finally get a trailer.
  19. It was generic. That's why I'm not ruling out the book possibility.
  20. There has been a leak of a new Lex Luthor minifigure, where he's wearing his Superman-styled armor from Rebirth, and I suspect it's probably to tie into this game as the preorder bonus. If it is, this could lead to some interesting speculation. In Rebirth, he's wearing a Superman-looking costume so that the public sees him as a hero (due to the New 52 Superman dying-- now replaced by the pre-New 52 post-crisis Superman; it's complicated). And a slightly earlier story, Forever Evil, had the Justice League heroes vanish when the Crime Syndicate invaded their universe, leaving Lex to lead some of the other villains, like Bizarro and the Flash's Rogues, as a resistance. If they are basing the game off of these concepts, I could see it playing out as such: dangerous force shows up (be it Crime Syndicate, Darkseid and Apokolips forces, or someone else entirely), the Justice League either gets kidnapped or vanishes (seeeecret kidnap style), Lex Luthor puts on this suit to gain public trust, and leads villains to stop the new threat. Could even call back to the Heroes and Villains fighting together to stop Brainiac in Lego Batman 3.
  21. He puts on the suit in Rebirth to put out public image as a hero. The New 52 Superman had died publicly, and the current Superman is an older post-Crisis Superman reintroduced in the timeline. As for the game, yes. A DC Villains game has been leaked by a fairly respectable source alongside word of the Incredibles game.
  22. If I had to guess, I'd lean toward being the video game preorder bonus, since there's no indication of him being in Flash's movie like that, and no indication of a caped figure for the book's silhouette (not that the silhouette is necessarily accurate, since we have no clue).
  23. Hulu is good, if they have the specific stuff you want. I also like using Amazon Prime occasionally, but their lists change rather frequently, and it's really more just because I have it for shipping anyway. And it's nowhere near being ready yet, but I will be doing DC's streaming service when it eventually drops (assuming it's reasonable and has a great backlog of their stuff). Gotta get me that Young Justice.
  24. I've been replaying almost every Assassin's Creed game recently. Platinum trophy-ed Brotherhood for the first time, replayed Revelations' story, fiddled with some incomplete content in III, Unity, and Syndicate, and starting a new file in Black Flag. Even goofed off in Liberation and Rogue for a little while and am beating Bloodlines on my Vita as I see fit. Not all of them, but sooooo many in recent days. Gotta stab 'em all.
  25. Great Caesar's Ghost, that's a dead-ringer! I hope we're lucky enough to get dual-molded red and gold legs!
