Maybe, if they decide to play that up to make a figure look very different from any "older" versions, assuming Lego even decides to do that.

Just beat the story for Assassin's Creed Origins, and I'll continue on completing side quests I haven't done yet for a while. Really liking it.

Which old TV shows would you want to see make a comeback?
BaneShake replied to Steamdemon's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Not "old" by any means, but I'd love to see Green Lantern TAS and Beware the Batman come back. Since DC's launching a new streaming service with Young Justice getting a new season, it's not entirely impossible. -
LEGO DC Villains (Videogame)
BaneShake replied to LEGODalekbuster523's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I'm super excited, and really hope this is accurate. Calling it now, I suspect Black Adam will be the preorder figure. -
I would like to see this happen. Even if they use every single named character in the movies, the roster would still be a tad smaller and more focused than most recent Lego games, which would make for a far less daunting 100% than some of the games allow.

This would get my instant preorder. Before the exclusive figure even gets announced. My picture probably gives that away, though. This would make sense, timing-wise, as it's close to the point we would get a new DC title, as I mentioned on here before. I highly doubt it would have any trouble selling. Seeing as every Lego game is a best-seller, and the Super Heroes line has gone on long enough that Lego is now trusting sets to not contain Batman or Superman, they'd probably not be too concerned to not have Batman in the title. Almost certainly, since it had an entire DLC pack for the previous game. I would assume they would just call it "The Squad" again, or "Task Force X," but since The Lego Batman Movie name-dropped the Suicide Squad team, and since it has so much more of a public profile since LB3 came out, they may even use the full name. I loved the villain levels more than the Batman levels in that game. As for TLBM, I'd certainly hope so, and with the size of the rosters Lego games tend to have now, we'd almost be guaranteed a bunch of them. I want Polka-Dot Man just as badly as I want to see Bane and Deadshot, and that's saying something.

What he said. From what I've seen and heard, it has sold poorly. My local Walmart already has the newest SHG sets released on clearance, to put it in perspective.

I agree on how much better the sets look. Far more appealing designs and colors. I pretty fond of the new dinos too. Blue's green looks too light, but I always welcome new raptor prints. And the Carnotaurus may not be as "intimidating" as I could have liked, it's still a nice one to get. Speaking of intimidating, holy cow does that Indoraptor look scary, even just in Lego!

I'm not too blown away by some of these; the small Cap set is a rather bizarre and simple build, and the minifigs in it don't really appeal to me, although not really any fault of Lego; I just don't like the design choices Marvel made for Cap and Black Widow in the movie. The Hulkbuster is still way too big, and Falcon's wing build looks too bulky for the character; I liked the wing piece he had last time. The Milano's a decent build, but losing so much of its shape, and all the blue, makes it far less desirable than the previous ones. And that Thanos bigfig is the worst offender; I don't like his design in the movie, but as far as we can tell right now from the marketing, Lego didn't even match up to his look by leaving that helmet on him, and so it just looks mismatched and worse than if they had stuck to the design. Not to mention the weird gem placement to make the gauntlet work; I would've preferred to see all the gems printed on a piece in the correct place. That being said, I guarantee I'll be grabbing the Rocket/Groot/Thor set; even though Thor's missing his eyepatch, those three figures are all very desirable. And the Sanctum Sanctorum looks great, although I'll have to pass on it to save money. That's one I'll regret not having in the future.

Has there been a shortage anyone knows of, or are we all just unlucky? -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Finally found the remnants of one single case of CMFs at Toys R Us, which was apparently the only one they got. No Black Canary, which is sadly the one I want the most, although I was able to feel for a Black Vulcan, and blindly got Dr. Phosphorous, which were my number 2 and 3 picks anyway, just by picking up two. -
Looooong story short: Batman creates an AI surveillance system satellite, Brother Eye, in a (rather justified) bit of not trusting the other heroes. A villain takes over Brother Eye and uses it to turn people into automated OMAC soldiers to hunt down superheroes. Then an alternate universe Luthor gave Brother Eye capabilities for full sentience.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'd say the Invisible Jet is more likely than most vehicles to get remade. Outside of the Batmobile, it's one of the best-known vehicles in DC. Everyone and their mother knows of the jet. -
Target finally stocked the new sets. Got the Speed Force Pursuit, and I have to say, I really like the helicopter, mainly due to how unique it is from most others we get. The ice buggy thing looks even worse in person, though.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
While there are specific, unique Talons, the generic Talons tend to get treated, in group, as a member of Batman's rogues gallery, so it's only halfway "generic," which is probably why. -
The size alone doesn't worry me, since almost every Lego dino is out of scale. I just want to see the head mold.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
BaneShake replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Maybe. At this point, that is just as plausible as anyone else. Hopefully we see more of the Rebirth Batman for the standard "Bruce" Bat. It'd be nice if we got one of the incredibly rare dual-colored capes to get his black-and-purple Rebirth cape too. -
That's okay, thanks for checking! Snoke decal It's not a 1-1 recreation, since a lot of the finer details are beyond my capabilities, and I couldn't get a good source pic for the back printing, but here ya go!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion

I'm intrigued by the kid with the CMF printed tiles, 'cuz things are about to get meta. What happens in a few years when he gets around to collecting this wave with himself in it??? Of course, these all sound like great fun. I can't wait to see pics! -
