Discussion Should LEGO make a Military Theme?

I don't think so. I think they could have produced it for another half a year. -
Discussion Should LEGO make a Military Theme?

I instead would. And most AFOLs would too. Just think the Jabba Palace was cancelled and it's out of production because of this reason.... -
And I even left many apart! All right! :)

Thank you very much, I signe up let's hope they reply me.

Thanks Dragons are from the various sets produced, like the old fantasy era castle, the troll warship and the 2013 dragon mountain. I think for your drow army this head: would do better than a blank black head. It was on pab on s@h for a long time, that's where I got 50 of them, so you can still manage to find many around.

Discussion Should LEGO make a Military Theme?
Itaria No Shintaku replied to KisKatona's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Just two questions. 1 - Why reviving a Necro topic? :) 2 - Is anyone aware that green bricks were procuded later than other colors because lego was afraid people would have built tanks over them? They haven't considered even a soldier in the minifigures series. There is NO chance that Lego will produce army, soldiers, or this stuff. Army/modern warfare-related stuff or religious-related stuff are two dogmatic NO for Lego. -
This is my personal collection. All minifigures belong to me :D It's just a diorama for people to see, no wargame connected ;)
-
Ok, pictures do not really help to understand this moc, it's a fierce fight involving about 1500+ minifigures, ten dragons and various stuff. Enjoy.
-
Well, I have some armies too: In those pictures I represent a diorama in which there are 12 48x48 baseplates full of armies, with about 120 minifigures per baseplate. Plus I have much more that didn't fit. Actually my medieval army is about 1700/1800 minifigures + 10 dragons and various stuff. I can't really count them. Thanks for watching :)

REVIEW: 71004 LEGO Minifigures – The LEGO Movie Series
Itaria No Shintaku replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
You are right. Male characters will be downpriced. Lego should give some value to male characters too. We always carry this "Female = worth, male = not worth" stuff.. But, hey, after decades of patriarchy, it's girls' time!- 131 replies

Future of the CMF - Poll
Itaria No Shintaku replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, I am very frustrated since this steering has potentially destroied my favourite line. I am a minifigure collector, I own more than 5000 minifigures, and I probably bought about 1 thousand just in the CMF line. This way they just simply wiped out my fun into chasing the minifigures, feeling the packets, collecting them, buying entire boxes, exchanging them and the like. I feel like I'm entitled to have such an opinion. Actually, don't like don't read, isn't that? I can quote the fact that if I share too much of my sources, I can be identified and lose the chance to have some little piece of information that I usually try to share among the community as much as I've done in the previous years and months. I thank you for respect and be sure that it is mutual. -
Future of the CMF - Poll

Actually my conclusions were drawn also by other sources, like comments on various blogs, other posts here, and the like. I can say without any fear of being corrected that in general AFOLs are strongly against this move. Now, since AFOLs are 1/4 of the general lego target, I may think that they think children will say "OH! LOOK! IT'S EMMET! DAD BUY ME ONE!" or something like this,.. but my experience taught me that more AFOLs buy CMFs than children (or at least, I happened to see more of the first and less of the second, and I sell them so I know what I say). As much as I think that this trend will be reverted for CMF Movie Series ( I bought about 80 minifigures for each wave, being S9 the most targeted with more than 150 minifigures... and I plan to buy 20 of this one, just to say...), I strongly believe their sales will drop down compared to minifigures seris 9 in january 2013. I instead believe that minifigures series simpson will be sold more than this one even if I'll buy just the regular 16 since I don't plan to collect them. -
Future of the CMF - Poll

Actually, not. It says "compared to previous series" and it implies that it's a quality test on this series. There is no justified reason to think that someone would stop buying minifigures for different reasons but the fact that he/she dislike this series. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherry_picking_%28fallacy%29 for infos. -

What's in the bag? Lego x-rayed

Why bothering? Feeling is the answer. It takes 5 10 seconds per bag, less than scanning. -
Future of the CMF - Poll
Itaria No Shintaku replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The general audience says that TLC didn't make a smart move into making CMF of the movie, then... -
I can confirm that pretzel girl's hair is rubbery. The welder is very fine, but you'll have plenty of time to buy it since they made really too many copies of it.

I wanted to gather the opinions of my fellow eurobrickers on some questions I ask to myself very often about what Lego wants to do with CMF. CMF was one of the best themes ever for me, and I am very concerned about the chance it could end soon. If you want to take some seconds to complete this poll so that I can know your opinion, I'd glad. Thanks. INS
