    Probably since english is just the third language I speak, I'm getting myself wrong. I try again. Some castle waves, like the last one, were "more childish" than other ones, like fantasy era or "Kingdoms". The use of bright blue and bright red colors, super shiny less-detailed sets, is more child-oriented. The use of dark grey, dark red, dark blue, detailed sets, creepier minifigures, is less child-oriented. I think we can hardly fight over the fact that Fantasy Era was less Childish than the Lego 2013 Castle, I hope.

    You can also make a toy without making it look very childish. Like LOTR sets. They are not that childish.

    Ok, let's say it again: recently we had themes with dark colors, very detailed... and childish themes with bright colors and little detail. The first ones were what I was inetnding as ADULT

    I don't believe it will be an ADULT-oriented theme. So I expect lame weapons, lame vehicles, etc. Nevertheless, I expect nice minifigures and useful parts so I'll buy sets for the pieces, not for the way they are intended to come out.

    I entrust BrickJagger, this rumour is getting powerful and powerful every day even with people who don't follow this thread. I believe that the AFOLs would be so disappointed if no castle theme is scheduled for 2016 that TLG would better be preparing one fresh new if they didn't yet.

    Everyday I come to this topic hoping for news, as an addiction. Everyday I get excited when I see there are new posts, then I get disappointed as I see only wishes and wishlists. Come on! Someone find something!!!!

    They will make a new castle theme because LotR and Hobbit sold not as good as they thought, but not a total disaster either as it has been said. So they saw kids are in the mood for fantasy stuff, but their parents aren't interested in spending a lot of money for "gandalf" or "legolas" paying the license price. Furthermore they can design the sets without taking inspiration from real stuff, which is what I love... I don't like to re-do in LEGO something that someone else has already done, I prefere to use my fanatsy to create new stuff.

    I instead believe that they have the license but the sets aren't selling well so they need to spend it in other means.

    Sage words! I totally agree. There is no way this discussion may go on, I'd like this topic to be closed once and for all. I would just add my 2p on a topic that hasn't been discussed. That is: I do not endorse companies which have controversial behaviours. If all those people find TLG to be hypocritical, then I have serious problems in understanding why they buy LEGO products. I believe, but these are my 2p again, that people calling someone hypocritical and then buying their products, are hypocritical too.
